Ever since they became a thing, I've always raved about this truck and constantly check their schedule to recommend it to friends and family nearby. It's been so long since we've had it so my bf and I decided to go after work for our dinner. I always go for the Blackjack Quesadilla and I am terrible with spice so I always slow down after the first slice because it's just too spicy for me. BUT absolutely delicious as always. I got it again this time and always ask for extra sauce on the side. Their verde is amazing. Perfect citrus/garlic flavor. I asked for extra on the side again and he gave me two! I thought it would be too much but it's literally perfect. I dip my slices so frequent that 2 of the sauces really do the trick. My bf decided to try the Pac-Man burger this time and boy was it messy. It is such a loaded and super saucy burger but absolutely delicious. So much flavor and love the combo of salsas they use and just mixing it all together. I will always be down to grab Kogi whenever I can! The workers are super nice every time. IG: @ammysalamii

If you can catch this recycle you can get some amazing tacos. Korean fusion style with a delicious salad slaw and well done seasoned grilled meats compliment their flat top street tortillas. The sliders stand their ground too. Service is great and pretty fast. I look forward for more the next time I can catch the truck.

Oh sweet Kogi! I am here tonight and using the Uber Eats app for pick up/walk up. This is a wonderful and Covid safe option. We did not pay anything extra for pick up via UberEats and even saved 5% with our pass. I am enjoying the blackjack quesadilla while my husband has the short rib burrito. Both are nothing short of delicious. A wonderful American-Korean mash up is how Roy delivers this divinity to our plates. Roy Choi's chef skills are on full display with a Kogi truck visit. Uber Eats allowed us to tip the restaurant and claims to keep none of the money. If true, nice to see Uber doing something good. So, why not get out of your house briefly and safely and have some Kogi? Check out kogi.com for locations, hours and details on the trucks.

Six stars. Excellent fusion of Asian, Mexican, and bbq. Recommend in particular the Blackjack Quesadilla and the Calamari Tacos, but can't go wrong with anything. Get extra salsa and you'll thank me.

Where have I been??? This place or should I say this Food Truck is SO GOOD!!!! Now I know why there is always a line waiting at a Kogi Truck. I ordered the Korean Pork Tacos and they were amazing! Definitely a must try! I also tried the Short Rib Tacos & Short Rib Burrito! Both were so delicious. I think those are my favorite 3 items whenever I go! If you see the Kogi Truck, it's definitely worth it to stop and grab something to eat from the truck! Your taste buds will explode! Everything is so flavorful and you always feel satisfied! Good portions!

I have been following Kogi truck for years now. Huge fan of chef Roy Choi and his food. Short rib tacos and spicy pork burritos are my go to menu. Korean style slaws and well seasoned meats bring out its unique and delicious flavors.

One of my favorite food trucks! Ordered a chicken quesadilla and a chicken taco. Only because they ran out of short rib. Let me note that this was a truck that was at a Ciclavia event and we went towards the end of the day. Short rib tacos are my fav from here. The chicken was good also but I like white meat and it was a blend of white and dark meat..and I'm picky with the fat that I find and the stronger tasting dark meat. Because it that aside, it was delicious!

The energy was electric, as there was a Mexico soccer game on for the World Cup. We ordered some asada fries and birria tacos, and both were super tasty. The asada fries in particular were a generous portion and you felt like you got your money's worth (a challenge in this economy). The vibe inside is very chill and the lights are down low. I loved the trees inside and always appreciate the color the painted skulls add to the space. A couple small things...first, we didn't get the food for a long while after we ordered. Probably around 35 minutes, and happy hour finished in the in-between, so it was too late to add to our order if we had wanted to. Second, I noticed that sometimes the silverware is not 100% clean (this has happened to me at 2 locations), so i make sure to check that I'm not getting anything dirty and mention it to the servers. They always promptly replace it, but it'd be nice if that was not happening in general. Anyway...love the deals here, the flavors are on point, and the atmosphere is fun. What more could you want?

Loved the happy hour here, where you can get good food and drinks for a good price!…read more I came by to check out their happy hour Friday afternoon around 4 pm and it wasn't too crowded. Happy hour is offered daily 3-6 pm and 9 pm to close and includes both food and drink specials. They also offer all day specials on Tuesday for Taco Tuesday. I had the LP margarita for $9 off the happy hour menu. It was a pretty good margarita! We started with their complimentary salsa. I was very happy to find that it wasn't spicy but still very flavorful. I'm a picky eater and usually don't like restaurant salsas, but this was right up my alley. We then shared an order of their guacamole ($8.25 hh), cachetada ($6.25 hh), and a couple of tacos ($4.25 each). The guac was amazing as well, made with ripe avocados and just the right amount of salt and flavor. It comes with a giant plate of chips which were still warm from the fryer. I just wish there was more of it! For the tacos, I tried the ribeye, the gochujang carnitas (monthly special), and the regular carnitas. The regular carnitas was by far my favorite. The gochujang was okay but I personally found it too sweet, and the ribeye was a bit bland. I didn't try the cachetada as it was way too cheesy for my personal tastes, but I would recommend getting this if you like cheesy foods. My friend said it was like eating cheese straight up.

Today we went for brunch, our first time. Awhile back the restaurant mailed BOGO free brunch cards to households in the area, and since this was the 2nd to last weekend to use, we went. Came in a little after 11, not very busy (The Vineyards tend to get very busy later in the day on weekends) I order a Spicy Watermelon Passion Fruit Agua Fresca - it was good, but the Watermelon was so overwhelming it was hard to taste the passionfruit. My mom had the breakfast tacos (not pictured) which she liked a lot, I had the avocado toast and added ahi tuna. The toast may look small at first, but was very rich and filling. I will say I was surprised to see the tuna in lox-like strips, but maybe that's because I'm used to ahi tuna either seared or in chunks poke style. All in all, a very nice experience. I think i wanna go back and try the pancakes.

AKA, unlike any asada or lengua burritos I've had from this place. When I told the teller that that was NOT what I had asked for, and that nowhere on the menu does it indicate that it'll be different from their other burritos, she said there was nothing she could do. No refund, no exchanging of the food item. This was upsetting because there was no way for me to know what the burrito would look like; the menu does not say breaded shrimp burrito, it says shrimp burrito. All of this was explained to the teller to no avail. Yeah, sure, I made an assumption that lead to an expectation, and I should've clarified from the get-go, but I don't think I was being unreasonable in wanting a replacement or a refund. I feel that Tacos Michoacan was being unreasonable in not complying with that request because after all, the only breaded shrimp dish pictured on the menu clearly stated that it contained breaded shrimp, while the listed "shrimp burrito" did not. (Am I being crazy here? Please feel free to tell me without holding anything back.) The thing that bothered me most of all was that there was never any empathy in how my situation was handled. If they would've said that house rules dictate that my situation can't be accommodated with some genuine sympathy for my dissatisfaction, then maybe I could've taken everything a bit more in stride. If they would've demonstrated some understanding and acknowledged that my confusion was logically valid, then maybe I wouldn't have felt dumb, frustrated and upset. But that's not what happened. This whole experience ruined my mood in a way I could only shake by writing this review. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Tacos Michoacan unless it's because they want to right their wrong and either give me my money back or give me another burrito.
