Ever since they became a thing, I've always raved about this truck and constantly check their schedule to recommend it to friends and family nearby. It's been so long since we've had it so my bf and I decided to go after work for our dinner. I always go for the Blackjack Quesadilla and I am terrible with spice so I always slow down after the first slice because it's just too spicy for me. BUT absolutely delicious as always. I got it again this time and always ask for extra sauce on the side. Their verde is amazing. Perfect citrus/garlic flavor. I asked for extra on the side again and he gave me two! I thought it would be too much but it's literally perfect. I dip my slices so frequent that 2 of the sauces really do the trick. My bf decided to try the Pac-Man burger this time and boy was it messy. It is such a loaded and super saucy burger but absolutely delicious. So much flavor and love the combo of salsas they use and just mixing it all together. I will always be down to grab Kogi whenever I can! The workers are super nice every time. IG: @ammysalamii

If you can catch this recycle you can get some amazing tacos. Korean fusion style with a delicious salad slaw and well done seasoned grilled meats compliment their flat top street tortillas. The sliders stand their ground too. Service is great and pretty fast. I look forward for more the next time I can catch the truck.

Oh sweet Kogi! I am here tonight and using the Uber Eats app for pick up/walk up. This is a wonderful and Covid safe option. We did not pay anything extra for pick up via UberEats and even saved 5% with our pass. I am enjoying the blackjack quesadilla while my husband has the short rib burrito. Both are nothing short of delicious. A wonderful American-Korean mash up is how Roy delivers this divinity to our plates. Roy Choi's chef skills are on full display with a Kogi truck visit. Uber Eats allowed us to tip the restaurant and claims to keep none of the money. If true, nice to see Uber doing something good. So, why not get out of your house briefly and safely and have some Kogi? Check out kogi.com for locations, hours and details on the trucks.

Six stars. Excellent fusion of Asian, Mexican, and bbq. Recommend in particular the Blackjack Quesadilla and the Calamari Tacos, but can't go wrong with anything. Get extra salsa and you'll thank me.

Where have I been??? This place or should I say this Food Truck is SO GOOD!!!! Now I know why there is always a line waiting at a Kogi Truck. I ordered the Korean Pork Tacos and they were amazing! Definitely a must try! I also tried the Short Rib Tacos & Short Rib Burrito! Both were so delicious. I think those are my favorite 3 items whenever I go! If you see the Kogi Truck, it's definitely worth it to stop and grab something to eat from the truck! Your taste buds will explode! Everything is so flavorful and you always feel satisfied! Good portions!

I have been following Kogi truck for years now. Huge fan of chef Roy Choi and his food. Short rib tacos and spicy pork burritos are my go to menu. Korean style slaws and well seasoned meats bring out its unique and delicious flavors.

One of my favorite food trucks! Ordered a chicken quesadilla and a chicken taco. Only because they ran out of short rib. Let me note that this was a truck that was at a Ciclavia event and we went towards the end of the day. Short rib tacos are my fav from here. The chicken was good also but I like white meat and it was a blend of white and dark meat..and I'm picky with the fat that I find and the stronger tasting dark meat. Because it that aside, it was delicious!

Hands down best Korean-Mexican fusion. I first had kogi almost a decade ago and by far it will always be my favorite. Top favorites: Black jack quesadilla Short Rib Burrito Parking: 5/5 easy access it's in the lot by Rite Aid

Legendary LA food truck. Everything is bomb, but I personally love the quesadillas. The sweet chili chicken quesadilla has a nice sweet taste, finished with a nice kick towards the end. The blackjack is really tasty as well, with pork and grilled onions inside topped with a salsa verde. Try them both if you are not in the mood for the classic kogi short rib burrito.

My coworkers ordered the Chicken Gangjeong in both the Soy Garlic and Sweet & Spicy flavors. I only had a bite of each, but both were juicy and seemed to be made with dark meat chicken. The Soy Garlic was actually sweeter than the Sweet & Spicy, which caught me off guard, while the Sweet & Spicy had more of a mild heat than an overwhelming kick. I ordered the Grandma Tteokbokki at spice level 2 and added melted cheese and ramen. Those add-ons were absolutely worth it. The cheese made the sauce extra creamy, while the ramen soaked up all of the flavor and turned it into a hearty, comforting meal. Spice level 2 had a nice kick without overpowering the dish, making it easy to enjoy from start to finish. Overall, everything we tried was satisfying, and I'd happily come back to work my way through more of the menu. If you're ordering the tteokbokki, I definitely recommend adding the cheese and ramen--you won't regret it.

The Rose was really good, but it was a little too rich for me. I personally preferred the Grandma Tteokbokki. I also liked the larger tteok over the mini tteok because it was softer and chewier. Adding ramen and cheese is a must! The cashier was also really nice. Even though he was new, he was able to answer all of our questions and provided excellent service. The restaurant was super clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back the next time we make a trip to SoCal!

We stopped by on a Tuesday for lunch, and nostalgia definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. The Jjolmyeon has always been our all-time favorite from the LA location, so ordering it was a no-brainer. And wow... it somehow tasted even better here! We also ordered the Yuk Kalguksu (육칼국수) and Gun Mandu (군만두), and everything hit the spot. The Yuk Kalguksu came with such a generous portion that I happily finished the noodles, enjoyed some of the rich, spicy broth, and still had enough soup and beef to box up for another meal. Talk about a bonus dinner! The mandu was perfectly crispy and paired so well with the refreshing, chewy jjolmyeon. For us, a restaurant earns a spot in our regular rotation only if it checks three boxes: delicious food, friendly service, and cleanliness. Hodori easily checks all three. In fact, I came back after work the very same day to pick up dinner for the family (because one visit clearly wasn't enough ). We ordered Galbi Ugeoji Haejangguk (갈비 우거지 해장국), Galbitang (갈비탕), Tteokbokki (떡볶이), Samgyetang (삼계탕), and Yukgaejang (육개장). I placed the order before leaving work, and by the time I arrived about 15 minutes later, everything was neatly packed and ready to go. As a working mom, finding a restaurant that serves delicious food, offers great service, and makes takeout this effortless feels like striking gold. It saves me time in the kitchen while keeping everyone's tummies full and happy. Safe to say, Hodori has officially earned a permanent spot on our takeout list.

Absolutely terrible customer service…read more I came in with my two kids (ages 4 and 8). They were quietly waiting while we looked at the menu and were just moving the utensils around on the table like normal little kids. I politely asked if we could order regular meals to dine in and kids' meals to go. The younger employee simply said no, which was fine--I was only asking. Then an older Korean lady came over, got right in my face, and loudly said, "NO TAKE OUT!" The tone was rude, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary. Instead of treating us with basic courtesy, she made us feel like we weren't wanted there. As we were leaving, she pointed at my kids and shooed them away from the table because they had moved the utensils around. I was honestly speechless. I would never let my children trash a restaurant, and I would have cleaned up anything before leaving. To make it worse, this isn't the first time. On a previous visit, I watched this same older lady and an older man give my friends dirty looks and a nasty attitude over the tip, even though they had already left 18%. Charging around $35 for a single meal with rice comes with the expectation of decent hospitality. Instead, we were treated with disrespect from the moment we asked a simple question. There are too many amazing Korean restaurants in Los Angeles to spend this kind of money and be treated this poorly. Save your money and go somewhere that values its customers.

The king dumplings has no flavor, it is soft but when you bite it, there is really no excitement to it. The filling is generous but also bland. The fried chicken is just uber dry, some parts of the skin is pretty good, but the seasoning is weak. The beef rib soup is the worse, there was literally no Korean flavor at all, it's just bland in spices and flavor.
