Wish I can give negative stars. This store in general is horrible. I was in here earlier and got a couple items I needed. Which first off the pricing had gone up from the last time I came in here. And then when I went to check out, they only had ONE person ringing with a line of at least 5 people, which wouldn't be a huge issue except there were at least 5 other employees roaming around and not offering to jump in and help! The cashier was very nice so that's the only positive. Called and spoke with management, said that she was the only one on the floor that was trained. Nice excuse. In my two years of Yelping, I'm honestly surprised I've never written a review of this Kohl's. I like this place. Sadly, it's one of my few guilty pleasures. I can find so many things I like here; you just have to be willing to spend a good 1-2 hours shopping. Seriously. Breakdown: *Women Petite Section -- good for us shorties. I buy pants and shorts here for the most part. Usually their tops are way ugly and geared towards women aged 50+, so avoid that. Just a friendly FYI: sizes 8+ in pants is hard to find here since that's what most women wear it seem....I have to look awhile to find my average size. *Junior Section -- despite the fact that I'm 26 and far from being a teenager, I buy 98% of my tops in the Junior Section. They're cute and trendy, but most are classy enough that I can pass wearing them in my casual work environment. Sizes L and XL can fit all of us non stick figures. *Shoes -- decent selection at good costs. *Housewear -- decent for the price you pay. *Sales -- AMAZING!!! Ok store, but HORRIBLE customer service. Today I went to Kohls to use my $5 Kohls cash & 20% coupon. When I was checking out, I told the cashier (Sue) that I wanted to use the Kohls cash & coupon. She said ok. When she rang up my items, I asked if the total amount was after my $5 Kohls cash & 20% coupon. She said yes. I asked her again if it was after both discounts & she again said yes. So I paid. When she gave me my receipt, I noticed that I didn't get my kohls cash discount. I told her that I didn't get it, and she said that I didn't show it to her. I said that wasn't true, because I showed her the barcode & the $5 cash on my phone. She then called the next customer over & then said to me, "You have to go to customer service to get your $5." And she waved me away. The line for customer service was too long, so I just gave up. Not sure why Sue wants to work with customers, because Sue is very rude & condescending. Not sure if I'll ever go back to this Kohls, since customer service doesn't seem to be a priority in this store. read more

The only way to shop at Kohls is either clearance items with 30% off coupons with Kolhs cash and starting a new charge account 70 percent off for clearance 10 dollars Kolhs cash 15 percent off for opening a new account 30 percent off with mailer coupon Now there is your big deal 100.00 item 70% clearance.......30.00 30% mailer coupon......21.00 15% off for opening a new charge account......17.85 10.00 or more for Kolhs cash .........7.85 Total charge for item. 7.85. But in this case the hundred dollar item in most stores is usually about $65 so consider the overpricing to begin with Why can't you get the savings like those who shop with grocery coupons? But in the last year Kolhs has been sued through class-action to reduce their gimmicks on sales. Through Nike and other vendors they no longer except 30% coupons Kohls will go by the wayside such as Mervyns department store but in the meantime take advantage of all their coupons and discounts because they do overprice everything in the store read more

Okay, so I've never been a big fan of Kohl's in the past. Could walk around the store for hours and walk out empty handed. But, I had a gift card and a $10.00 off coupon in the mail so I thought, why not? I went in with my husband and found some Christmas decor, a sweater and some jewelry. The sweater was Elle brand and was already 50% off so I was pretty pleased with my purchase. I wore the sweater a few weeks later to take family Christmas photos, washed it and when I went to put it on a second time I was horrified to realize that it ripped several times along the bottom seam. It was obviously a poorly made item. I knew I had thrown the receipt away and certainly didn't have the tags but I wanted to share my experience with customer service at Kohl's just in case there was something they could do for me. I received some of the best customer service I've ever experienced in this store. The clerk was very kind, went out of her way to help AND even scanned an additional coupon when I purchased a different sweater so I ended up getting $5.00 cash back. She sincerely apologized for the rip and I was on my way. Because of this experience Kohl's has quickly moved up my list of favorite places to shop. read more

I absolutely love Kohl's (thus, the one extra star), but their customer service is severely lacking. I went to the store twice today, and both times, the person at the register was very short with me for no reason at all. I always try to make a point of smiling. I was not rude, impatient or demanding in the slightest. After completing my purchase, I said thank you to the woman at the checkout stand and was responded to by her back. From someone that has worked extensively in customer service, and likes to give others the benefit of the doubt, I can confidently say that the treatment I received from the Kohl's staff today was unacceptable. read more

This recent experience blew me away... Saturday -- this last Saturday -- I ordered four pairs of men's pants in colors not stocked in the Heather Ridge store. THIS MORNING, at around 9:00 AM, I heard a noise at my front door. Amazingly, a box containing all four pairs was sitting there. I did not request expedited delivery! Think about that. I hate this store so much. I think I'd rather go to the dentist than shop here. I returned a Christmas present and got the store credit, but just didn't like anything they had to offer. I must have wandered the store for an hour in desperation. So I thought it would be better to use the credit toward a gift card so I could at least re-gift to someone who might actually find this useful. Much to my frustration, the store policy wouldn't allow this. And to top it off, the clerk was too busy communicating with other employees on her headset, and trying to ring up the next person in line to actually spend time helping me. I actually used to work here when I was younger, and so I know the customer service is supposed to be very good. It sure has gone downhill. Recently, we ordered a couple of Christmas gifts on a Friday evening and chose the pick up in parking lot offer. It went very smoothly. Ordered the two items, received a text notice within 30 minutes that they were ready. We used the app to let them know we had arrived, and Jacob came out with the order. If you decide to shop at Kohls often, you want to have their Kohls credit card as you get tons of deals and savings. Kohls seems to overprice things but it's justified if you are a member who receives their coupons in the mail. And who doesn't like coupons?! I went to this location and they had a smaller selection of active women's wear than what I'm used to, but nothing to complain about. The clothing sections were very well-organized when I went there but I guess that's a hit or miss as other reviews state otherwise. I like that Kohls has a "buy online, pick up in store" option. I'm very thankful that Mary the manager was able to help me win a hiccup I encountered in my order. She was so incredibly professional, kind, and accommodating. extremely disappointed in this company. i bought a bunch of christmas gifts here for my family. i was offered the kohls credit card being told i could save 100 plus dollars. i asked if this could affect my credit score as I am only 20 who just opened up my first credit card a few months ago and it's already extremely hard to increase my credit. I was told that it wouldn't affect my credit score what so ever , especially if i paid the bill after the transaction and that within 6 months of opening it and it not being used again , it would be cancelled and deleted from my credit history. being young and naive knowing nothing about credit scores and what affects it , i said yes and signed up. the deal seemed epic but i should've took the signs and knew. essentially the employee lied to me just so she could benefit from her rewards she gets for signing people up for store credit cards. i kid you not, my credit score decreased OVER 30 POINTS. this is unacceptable!!!! your employees are lying to customers in order to get more points and rewards for having people sign up for store credit cards. i've worked in retail before , i know how this game goes and you think i wouldn't have fallen into the trap. i know you get points based on how many people you have sign up for credit cards. you should be absolutely ashamed taking advantage telling young adults that it will not affect their score. i've been trying to move out but keep getting denied since i just recently opened up a credit card and my only credit is paying off my car. read more

I find their prices to NOT be great, especially considering quality of the clothing is not good. This also applies to shoes. In fact, I think Kohl's makes you think you are getting a great deal with their sales, but not really! It's over-priced junk for the most part. Macy's is far better quality. The pathways thru the various clothing racks are tiny and you practically knock over items. Every single time I go to the sale/clearance items, there is nada in its proper place. This includes if you get there at first opening. The employees are either stupid or can't be bothered to put things in size 8, size 10, etc. So you really have to "hunt" thru stuff, piece by piece, to see if something you like is the correct size. This location is also difficult to find and only 1 entrance to get in and out. read more

I had the opportunity to go to the store in connection with an Amazon return. I was amazed at how clean and well stocked the store was. They funneled everybody through one entrance with a security guard to make sure people had masks on. The isles were wide and clean so it was easy to achieve social distance from everyone. About every 30 feet in the isles were little tables with hand sanitizers spray, disinfectant and paper towels. There were plenty of employees to answer questions. Even the lighting was good. I was very pleasantly surprised because the last time I had been to the store it was run down. To the manager and staff of the story I say... Well done! read more

Honestly this has been of the rudest customer services I have ever had and probably why I stopped shopping here in the first place. Went in thirty minutes before closing and every five minutes I being told that the store is about to close soon. There's is no need to remind me every five minutes that the store is closing and to keep harassing me to make a selection. Then of course I pick these two shirts off an end table that says they're half off and of course one of them is excluded from the sale. The cashier then calls her manager to say that it was simply placed in the wrong area even though there was a stack of them on the end table with the sale sign. She failed to honor the price that was advertised and simply said there was nothing she could do. Not coming back here anytime soon maybe this time I'll stay away from this store and shop at different a Kohl's. read more

This kohl's is very hit or miss. Sometimes they have tons of cute things other times nothing. The items are very marked up so they can put them on sale at deep discounts but still make a profit. I got some cute fake diamond earrings there today for $6 a good deal. read more

This was my first experience here. I was surprised at the size. I immediately saw a shirt I was interested in. I noticed a machine to the left while I was waiting and my sister told me some of the features it has (prices, discounts, etc.) Those machines placed around the store is a big Plus! * I also loved the carts. Perfect for all ages. Great size and easy to maneuver around. I think the older generation really appreciates not having to use different types of carts than other people. I'm somewhat small so I liked that these carts don't make me feel like a little kid. :) read more

I was pleased to have help from staff to use kiosak inside store to order an item only at the Tustin location. I was told to expect my item on Jan. 14th and I ordered Jan. 11th. When I did not get it by the 15th, I called customer service and was told it would be by Jan. 20th as it was shipped. This Tustin store is less than half hour from my house, sure wished I just drove there. Today is Jan. 21st, no package and now told it is shipped again. This is not for the store, but rather Kohl's online. In the last 6 weeks I've place 2 online orders. Per my account, those are "completed". However, they weren't complete. For one order, which they broke into 2 parts, only one part was delivered; they other is still pending per tracking (and it is over 3months ago)!!! In the 2nd case, I ordered 6 items, and again, it says "completed" for my order. In this case everything was on 1 tracking number. However, only 4 of 6 items were delivered. The only response from Kohl's online is to cancel the order,wait 2 weeks and then reorder. Good bye to my Kohl's card!!! read more

This was my first and last time I will patronize this merchant. I placed an online order for less than $70 and was charged 3 times, 3 different amounts, none of which was the correct amount! I was told there was a glitch in the system and it would drop off with in 48 hours. It hasn't! When I called the toll free# the following day to resolve it, ahead of calling the bank, I got no where! The bank will handle it, I'm confident of that, but the mere inconvenience of taking more money than what my order was is ridiculous and moreso that I am supposed to be ok with their reply. read more

I normally have a great experience at this store but tonight I was very disappointed. I entered the store about 11 PM to finish up some Christmas shopping and presented a coupon from my email for $10 off at checkout which was 12:05. Anna, the on duty manager did not approve the $10 discount she said the time had expired as it was only valid for that one day. The $10.00 is not the issue. It's the way it was handled She seemed annoyed at the whole situation and was unwilling to even offer other type of discounts. I will definitely not be returning to that store. Worst Kohl's ever! Plus have you ever really noticed how Kohls marks items way high then puts them 'on sale' at a reduced price, which would be regular price somewhere else. Also the "coupons" are the only way to save so if you don't have a coupon or a discount percentage 15%, 20%, 30% off it's practically overpriced compared to another similar store. The other day I was in there with my daughter who wanted a tshirt and some cheap trendy overpriced woven faux leather bracelets. We had the first cashier be rude when I asked her how much the bracelets were going to be because of a mark down indicator sign near the bracelet display. The cashier was snippy and scanned the bracelets then pushed them back to me as if I had been bothering her. So I turned to my daughter and motioned to go to the next cashier stand down the way. We stood in line for a while then the cashier signalled us to come over. I told her I had a 15% off coupon on my app on my phone and she REFUSED to let us use it. She said there was no valid coupons or discounts for that day. I tried to show her that I had it in the app on my phone but she said no that's not valid for this day! She was so rude! She kept looking through me as if to say," go now, you're not getting any discounts today!" I unfortunately didn't find what I was talking about until I was out the door then finally I found it on my phone. Well I did want to go back in and show her and argue that I was indeed entitled to the .15% off but I had to go pick Up my son from school and if I went back in I'd probably be late getting to the next destination. I'm not usually a fan of Kohl's but my mom is. Having said that, I do admit to just applying for their credit card. They have Design Nation collaborations with exciting designers, the latest from Catherine Malandrino. The line is inspired by Paris which is fine in my book. Another great thing is that with the launch of the line, the items go on an automatic 25% off sale and there was a coupon out that allowed you to stack 30% off on top of the sale price. Combined with free shipping, it was a win-win. I ordered a bunch of items online on a Friday and received them all the following Monday. Once in my hands, I quickly went through and tried on the items. Luckily, I was able to return any unwanted items in the store. The returns process was very simple. I was in and out. I love the convenience of online shopping but it's nice to know that the store isn't very far away either. I did notice that the store I went to did not carry all of the items from the collection which is also a reason why I ordered from the website. They do have kiosks in the store that will allow you to order items with free shipping which is great if there's something that they don't have in stock that you must have. We've never shopped at Kohl's before but my wife was looking online and liked some of the cotton and polyester tops that she saw. We went to the store and found much of the ones that were labeled were in fact 100% cotton. Very difficult to find a cotton poly blend. My wife is disappointed so she thought she would take a gamble on some of the cotton tops and was extremely disappointed. When she got them home they were very scratchy so she decided to wash them. She said she followed the instructions exactly, washing in cold water. They shrink horribly and didn't do anything for the scratchiness. We will never return to the store and we will never buy from them online. Their prices are high for what you get. Terrible customer service. Very long lines at all times. read more

Love Kohl's, but not this store! Associates are rude and not very helpful and management is not much better. I was there with my asthmatic daughter and the cleaning crew was cleaning the fitting rooms while we were in there. I don't just mean vacuuming either! They were dusting the TOPS of the rooms, sending dust raining down all over the customers. My daughter had to run out of there with her hands over her face. The fitting room attendant could have cared less about my concerns over the situation and the cashier, well he just didn't want me to write a derogatory letter. The manager, same situation. Customer service sucks there! If Mervyn's was still around, I would go there instead, but since I have no choice, I will just go there without expectations of being treated correctly. Stopped in for a pair of shorts, the cashier sold me on the card heavily, gave me a discount which I fell for. The card bill came without an envelope, I paid late and got stuck with a 35 service fee for a 25 pair of shorts, 60 dollars total, and then although I sent payment a week before due date they haven't acknowledged receiving the check and added another 35, now 95 dollars total, and they call me EVERY day several times a day even though I paid the bill already, which they haven't acknowledged receipt of the check so that they can continue to charge me fees, they like to gouge. The clothes are okay but not great. Really Macy's has better clothes and better prices on sales. And Walmart's has same clothes without the cashiers selling you on the lousy credit program. read more

Kohls is a great department store. They have a lot of coupons circulating all the time through the mail and online. I pretty much use coupons or kohls cash every time I shop here and get about 20 percent off every time. More classy than JC Penney, not as ritzy as Macys or Nordstorm....my kind of place!! I have bought work clothes, party dresses, shoes, home decor, bedding, and kitchen cookware here. Good quality items! They have some high end brands as well as not as expensive brands, there is something for everyone. The store is super organized and they have convienent hours too. read more
