It's Kohl's. What can you expect but mediocre clothes and store?! I do like this location better than the Irvine location off of Jeffrey, but the RSM location still is my favorite. It's really hard for me to find clothes that fit me and I like, but usually I have good luck at Kohl's if I have the patience and about an hour or two to kill. I came in yesterday with my mom. My goal: to find another pair of dressy pants for work and a pair of shorts for the summer. Upon walking in the Petite Section, I had my doubts that I'd find anything. I only found two pairs of shorts in my size (I have a very common women's size) and only one pair of dress pants in my size. Usually it takes me 3-5 attempts to try on pants until I find one I like and it fits right. Surprisingly, the work pants fit perfectly and one of the shorts fit (score!). Also found a shirt I liked in the Petite Section (which I bought since I could wear it to work and on the weekend). My only gripe: the dressing rooms were a disaster. The employees left a HUGE clothes rack in the middle of each dressing room that had a sign that said "please leave your unwanted clothes here". It seems like a good idea...but, if you want to get in any of the dressing rooms and are bigger than a size 4, we have issues. I was a stumbling mess trying to get into a room to try on clothes. It made me not want to try anything on!! All in all, I had an A-OK experience. Mad props to the nice lady in front of me in line who, when she was done checking out, turned around and handed me her 30% off coupon. That little sucker saved me an extra $20!! Never again the girl at checkout was rude I received store credit or something but in a receipt. I tried to use it and was told that I already have so I told her I didn't and showed her the receipt then she asks how long I was at the store for then asks for her manager to come by because well who the hell knows....so that's one rude girl who should have been sweet and believed me instead of asking so many questions or trying to call me a liar anyways another girl doing our return was even more rude hope they don't get the main girl at the customer service though this was a different one girl helping out at the checkouts. I have never felt so disrespected and I am just so annoyed at how I was attended. I always go to the one in Irvine which is the best one everyone is friendly and helpful but this location is so disappointing I regret going to this location. Kohls is interesting, I sometimes have a love hate relationship with it. Sometimes their apparel is far from sale worthy and other times it's a steal. Sometimes I get confused because it still reminds me of Mervyns trying to be Macys. Sometimes it's the only place open early/late and you'd rather buy something now than wait for the next day. However, it is the holidays and for some odd random reason, there were some nice things. I was trying to figure out what to buy my Uncle and I couldn't figure out for the life of me what to get him after trying to figure out which item corresponded with the sales racks and which were non sales. Through the roaming around, I had a chance to check out the Duck Dynasty section of Uncle Si, Jase, Phil, and Willy cups. Love the show so I wasted my time checking out the Robertson family's products and books. After awhile I wondered around trying to figure out if my Uncle would get some random Eddie Bauer swiss knife, Macgyver type all in one tool set, thermals, sweatshirt, socks or the jacket I just kept being drawn too. Usually I buy guys in my family the exact same thing with different colors but I figured my Uncle could use something nicer...I'd just sacrifice one of my brother's gift budget =). read more

Every time I come here, they manage to leave me so frustrated when I leave. There has not been one time that I have had a good customer service experience here. This last trip finally pushed me over the edge to leave this negative review. Francis, short, maybe mexican (i apologize if i got your race wrong) female was at the returns desk and had an attitude like she was doing me a favor for being there. She offered no solutions to any of my questions and left it up to me to ask multiple questions to get around. Each time I asked a question she stared at me and said mmm hmmm like I was an idiot. There were times I had to ask the same question multiple times because she didn't understand but acted like I was the dummy when she was wrong. In the end after asking her how to proceed, she told me one thing, I followed it and come to find out she was wrong causing me not to get the item I wanted, not able to cancel the order, and having to come back again. She did not apologize at all. This place always looking like it is in disarray with toys, clothes, kitchen appliances, etc all strewn about making it hard to find things and nobody seems to want to help. Their default seems to be, we can't find it. Their Kohl's cash (KC) program is a bit of a scam as it is applied before the other % off coupons. The prices of the items seem to change from day to day, or at least weekly, and they constantly have a "sale". I have come to realize that often when they have high % off coupons, the prices of the merchandise is also higher. So you think you are saving 30% or 40% but with the inflated prices, you might actually be paying more. During the KC redemption period prices are usually higher to make your Kohls Cash worth less, and they have better coupons to get you to buy stuff, but too bad they are applied after the KC, so you really get less of a discount. Online prices and in store priced are different, but they act like you are an idiot for asking if they can match the price, as if its obvious there is absolutely no way to do it. Guess what Kohls, it is 2018 and every other store on the planet will price match their online prices. The quality of their store brand cloths are abysmal too. The clothes may be inexpensive, but they are made with inferior materials too, quickly falling apart after just a few months. You are better off buying quality name brand clothes that will last years, even if it means paying double, since in the long run you will save money. How can a store have such horrendous customer service. I do not understand. I will say the taller guy that usually works the amazon return line has been helpful, but almost every other person has an attitude. I keep giving you second chances, but if things don't change soon, I will be spending my money elsewhere. read more

I came to Kohls today to return an Amazon package and to my horror, during the pandemic, there were 20 people waiting in line indoor deep inside the building. This is an old fashion return environment as if there is no COVID exist. The building is old and I am sure its AC is outdated with poor circulation. I left the store and called Amazon to switch to UPS; no line and if there was line, they would ask you to wait outside. This place is dirty... Clothes are everywhere, there is no organization, everything in the beauty section looked like it has been used a million times and never cleaned . When I went to the dressing room there were copious amounts of dust bunnies hanging out in the dressing room. This Kohls store is at the Larwin square shopping center in Tustin. It's a bit older than the store in Irvine that I normally go to. As usual there are numerous items that are on sale along with the various additional discounts that I can get from Kohls Rewards and percent off coupons. I got a couple of dresses that are good quality. Just make sure to double-check if the cashier gives all of the percent off that you are entitled to as I had found that originally the cashier didn't give me a discount from one of the coupons. read more

One of the worst Kohls I've been to. They have one of the WORST selections of merchandise I've ever seen. I'm never able to find what I'm looking for. The layout of the store is inefficient. Everything is disorganized and merchandise is always misplaced ( employees obviously do not take pride in their work- if they work at all. ) You can never find anyone to assist you - when you finally do go to the dressing room, there they are.....all 5 employees standing around BSing. Kohl's is the store that can't decide if it is low-end like Ross or higher-end like Macys. This location is huge and has a good selection of clothes. It is, however, very scant on customer service. No one is going to help you find anything. The clothers aren't super high end but it is passable for summer basics. Since I dislike being badgered by salespeople anyway, I happily scouted on my own, brought a stack of try-ons to the dressing room, pull on the first item of clothing and...tug-tug. Not getting past my thighs. Huh? Oh, it's a size 4 on the wrong hanger. I do this 2 more times before I get smart and see that NONE of my items are sized as the hanger indicates. Why, Kohls, why? Are your employees so lazy they can't bother to put the correct sizes on the correct hangers? When I point this out to employees (who do not offer to help me find the right sizes), everyone points at the other one. Come on, Kohls, you're not a thrift store! So I find the right szes, ring it up, $250 and they shove it all in a bag, No fold, don't even bother to remove it from its mismatched hangers. Just one shove into a large, crinkly bag. I placed three orders for store pickup here. I was helped by an associate named Stephanie, who was very patient and kind. She had to get each item from the store shelves herself, which normally I would expect to be a bit irritating and lead to a bit of frustration. To my surprise, she didn't seem to mind at all, and even kept a smile on as she did it. I couldn't have asked for better customer service than this. I had to return something I purchased on Amazon. I was a little hesitant as I wasn't sure how easy it would be. From the moment I walked in the store the people were friendly and directed me to the area I needed to go to return my package. There was a young lady there unloading boxes (wish I'd gotten her name) and she immediately dropped everything and helped me. I was out of there in a minute. This review is for the Ladera Ranch Kohl's store. I went looking for some decent quality business casual clothing and left without buying anything. Looks like I'll be heading to Macy's or another store at the mall. First stopped at shoes. They have a lot of shoes on display but no luck whatsoever in finding any of the displayed shoes in my size. In fact they have very few of the shoes in stock. Lots of smaller sizes like 8 and 9 (how many men wear these smaller sizes??) I Couldn't find a single pair of any of my preferred types. Next, slacks. Most were rather low end and again, sizing was an issue. Of the one or two styles I preferred, nothing in my size. The slacks in all areas were completely jumbled up rather than being stored by waist size. This meant I had to browse through pile after pile, to see if they had a pair in my size (they didn't). Finally, took a quick look through polo shirts and looks like they had stock, but it's harder to go wrong when you only have to stock S,M,L, and XL. Not much in the way of choice though. Just a couple of house brands. Kohl's is obviously more budget-level than quality (like Target) but be that as it may, here's a suggestion:.Rather than displaying 50 varieties of men's shoes and having little or no stock, focus instead on fewer varieties and making sure those varieties are well stocked with lots of popular sizes (like 10, 11, 12) - Ditto slacks - Rather than having 50 varieties in only a small number of sizes, make sure you are well stocked with sizes, even if that means less variety. Your customers would be far better served if you had a smaller selection of slacks in popular colors like navy, khaki and dark gray, and had them in the sizes they were looking for. If you had that, I might even return to your store! read more

I entered in my card information and an error appeared that told me to call the customer service number. I called and of course they were closed . I called back the following day and was placed on hold 3 times for 40 minutes. I finally got through to a representative who could care less about the wait time. I explained that I was trying to make a purchase before my Kohls cash expired but that the app wouldn't take my card. Due to the delay now one of the items in the cart was now out of stock. The rep didn't care about that either care about that either. He then tried to process my payment and again there was an issue with my. I explained that there's plenty of funds available and that I made other payments today with that very card. He then told me I should use my Kohl's charge. I explain that I didn't want to put it on a credit card I wanted to pay cash with my debit card. I told him that due to the inconvenience of having to wait on hold for so long and because my item was now out of stock that he should go ahead and waive the shipping. He absolutely refused and wouldn't let me speak to a manager either. He told me that if I spent $75 or more I can get free shipping!!! I finally ended up hanging up on him. He was horrible and so was my experience trying to order three items on kohl's.com. The reps name was Vicente and his ID# is 6173. I had been told at the Yorba Linda store it was 14 day grace period after. I had been on vacation. I went to this location today to pickup an order that I placed online. When I walked in, there were only 2 other customers in line at the Customer Service department, so I was hoping I could get in and out quickly, but no such luck. The customer service department was understaffed, and I waited for a long time to get help. There were only 2 associates there, when I came in, and then 4 people showed up after me to return Amazon orders. The first associate was stuck helping a customer with several returns, which I could tell was complicated, and he called for back up repeatedly to help thin out the line. The second associate saw me and the other customers that were waiting to be helped first, but he chose to help the people with Amazon returns instead, even though he saw that they walked in after us. As a loyal Kohl's customer, it was very frustrating and disappointing that he ignored us. I probably won't shop at this location anymore since the service is getting worse and worse. Additionally, I've had problems in the dressing rooms on other visits- men in the women's dressing room and doors that don't actually lock. Be careful if you want to try on any clothes at this location, or better yet, go to another store! read more

Went at lunch to try to buy new dress shirts, it was a total waste of time. The whole dress shirt section was a disaster and looked like a tornado had gone through, all the colors sizes and brands completely mixed up. After digging for 30 minutes I couldn't find shirts in my size that werent hideous and I am one of the most common sizes 16 1/2-32/33. I found a couple other items to purchase and when I checked out I was asked if I found everything okay, I politely informed the cashier of the issue and she was nice but only offered to order for me.. No thank you, between the different brands/ cuts I want to be able to try them on. This store really needs to organize and stock better, lots of employees just walking around talking to each other. read more

This store is a mess. Line for amazon drop off, costumer service, & store pick up are getting mixed up. People having to move or get called on before others because of the confusion it's ridiculous. Waiting for my item, that has been ready for pick up since Saturday per the email I received from them, for 5 minutes is unbelievable. That doesn't count the time I had to wait in line. Don't I order things online so I can "skip" the line? Probably would have been done faster had I gone up stairs to get them & paid for them in the regular line. This is one of the WORST Kohl's locations. Store clerks are rude and not friendly at all. Received in the mail a $10 in-store only coupon for use Nov 23 to 1pm Nov 24. Knowing the black Friday store crowd, why not allow use of the coupon online?? Fine, we can go to the store. Went to this Tustin store around noon and found a long line going to the back of the store, looking like an hour wait or longer to checkout. So I went to the customer service counter which has a big sign that says "Returns, Pickups, Checkouts" hoping to pay for ONE shirt with cash, which would've taken less than a minute. No luck, I was told to go wait in the long line. I walked out instead. What happened to customer service? If your Customer Service counters don't do checkouts, then don't have a sign there that says "Checkout". Will NEVER go to this Kohl's store again! read more

I think this store is great! Warm welcomes upon entering and sanitized carts readily available. The manager and employees are amazingly helpful. First off, I'm a huge fan of Kohls and shop there often and will continue. The Kohls cash / Kohls rewards works. Also, I love the ease of Kohls Return and exchange policy. They make it so simple so I will buy things even if a good chance I will return it if needed. I just moved down here so I will check other Kohls locations. This space is old and I am pretty sure it was a former JC Penny (maybe Macy's) but it feels like it's where the older Kohls stuff goes. If it's the only option I'll go back or if it's a simple item because didn't seem like it gets very busy. It's close and it's something but hoping a better Kohls is close in the Tustin area. Oh and the dressings rooms are very far from most of the areas so it's a long walk to get to them a especially of you just want to pop out to check a different size or style. read more

After reading some of the reviews on this Kohl's, I was a little bit nervous about picking up my online order! I had ordered a nice watch to be picked up at this location. I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient and quick the customer service desk was. There are three lines - one for Amazon returns, one for returns/exchanges, and one for online order pick up. As long as you find yourself in the correct line, you will receive quick service. Once I stood in the online pick up line, I was greeted by a worker within a couple minutes who was able to scan my order and go get my watch right away. She had me open the box to make sure it was the right item, and it was! I then went to the jewelry counter to have my watch sized for free :). I had called in advance, and the girl mentioned that she was able to size most watch bands, but there were some she wasn't able to. Fortunately, she was able to size my Seiko watchband without a problem and with such a good attitude. I wish I had gotten her name because she was very helpful! All in all, my experience at this Kohl's was great! My husband said she's trying on clothes. He had my ID and we have the same last name and address. She then said well we can wait for Kim, it should be 3 seconds. Each visit was like a ghost town.. meaning a bunch of customers, but almost zero workers! How can there be one cashier and 7 people waiting in line? Yet I saw 6 registers.
