Just happened to be in the area one morning and this location was the closest Starbucks. Parking is shared by others in the plaza. As I entered, I was pleasantly greeted with a Welcome - reminds me of another location I visit in MoCo and I like that. Ordered a Cinnamon Dulce Latte and a breakfast item. Was served pretty quickly. As I left, I took a quick taste of my drink and almost scorched my tongue (my first time that has happened in visiting a Starbucks). We all know that not all Starbucks are created equal. Having said that, I'll also say that this location is one of the best. I walk in one random Monday morning, Latin beats are playing, the staff cheerfully greet me, espresso gets made quickly, they give me a packet of brown sugar as requested, then I exit. Definitely a hard Starbucks to grab a seat in. I feel like they've renovated this place like 2 or 3 times in the past 10 years... and each time they try a new seating arrangement. There's a ton of seats outside. But that doesn't help you if it's Elsa's out and about lettin' it snow and sh*t. All the employees at this Starbucks are very friendly. I've never encountered anyone with a bad attitude. And to boot, my drink is always made right. I like the last seating arrangement where they had the counter against the front window that was like a long communal counter... but it's gone now. Maybe in 2 months when they renovate this Starbucks again, they'll change it back. As for now... I am a fan of the new fixin's bar. I think it's a pretty way to display the sugars. Hi -- today was the third time I was in this location when someone came in for service without a mask. Like the other 2 times - I said something and was threatened with physical assault in this store by the offending customer. I am very disappointed in the employees for not doing the right thing and refusing to serve the unmasked patron. This location has the clover brewing machine which uses vaccum press technology and really brings out the flavor of the coffee. It does take longer so I only get the clover brew when I'm not in a rush. I like that there's plenty of outdoor seating. I take my kids here for a treat after school and they enjoy sitting outside and playing by the little water fountain. There's also a Walgreen and wine store nearby so I can get some shopping done when I stop by here. The staff here is always friendly and fast but one time this new guy spilled hot coffee all over me and barely apologized. The manager on duty did give us coffee and cake pop for free. We don't do mobile order, but as busy as they are sometimes our orders are ready by the time we've paid for them - the baristas remember their regulars. This is a small little Starbucks in a suburban shopping strip. The baristas make good coffee and the store is generally clean. There is limited searing space inside the store but they do have outdoor seating during the warmer months. WiFi signal is good for the most part so Internet browsing experience is not bad :) read more

There people that work here are nothing short of amazing. I never feel rushed and always like a valued customer. There best part is that they aren't sorry on opinions. When you get something to eat or drink and all them what you think, a bland opinion never helps. Their detailed opinions always help me make an informed decision when trying something new. Pickup orders are always on time with no errors. Other Starbucks have mistakes here and there which can be annoying over time. The one thing they are short on here is indoor seating. read more

This Starbucks is near two of my doctors' offices so I often find myself coming in for a post exam caffeine fix. It's a nice busy, friendly neighborhood 'Bucks. I especially like their plentiful outdoor seating, which is set up on a nice extra wide patio. You don't feel like you are sipping your coffee at the edge of someone's rearview mirror. This is a nice shopping center in a nice part of the county. I have never had a bad drink here, never had a bad customer service experience. You will encounter a fair number of privileged and entitled Potomac-ites - I find them irritating - but that goes with the territory of delving into their neighborhood. Maybe it's just the time of day I visit but one of my favorite things about this place is I have never seen a single teenager there! Only adults and adults with small kids. Also it doesn't seem to be taken over by BPWOO - Business People Without Offices. They are all up at the 'Bucks on Old Georgetown and Democracy! read more

(7/5/2016) The driver in our group desperately needed a Starbucks fix (not just coffee, or caffeine, HAD to be Starbucks). We were on the 270 approaching rush hour, probably THE worst time possible to head off the highway, but Google Maps took us here, this was the closest we could find without venturing too far into Bethesda or Potomac. It wasn't exactly easy to get to and would never have spotted it ourselves. Place was tucked away in a relatively quiet suburban chichi shopping center with a Harris Teeter and a Founding Farmers. Service looked like the summer school shift, but they did OK, could learn to speak up a little and look you in the eye (sheesh, kids these days). Orders were accurate and fairly quick.
