Cold, cold, and not up to Bham standards for me.

Canned corn on a cold sweet potato taco, chick sandwich ok, salad the best. The Taco though, I do not recommend, may have cooked the tortilla, sweet potato, the Tacos.

San Juan salad and Cubano sandwich!! AMAZING

John makes the best food and the vibe at the place is one of a kind! Trivia nights. Karaoke nights. A must try in town.

Kombucha A+. Food A+. They had 4 kombucha's rotating that day. The Gold was probably my favorite. It had an undertone of ginger flavor that was not too overpowering, and there was not a pungent flavor like how some kombuchas are. For food I had the soup of the day which was red pepper at the time. Super tasty, and a great little snack if that is what you're in the mood for. The salmon costini was probably my absolute favorite though! Such a simple dish but so delicious at the same time. Also the presentation boards that most of the food is served on is such a great touch to having something unique about the cafe. Although we were too full by happy hour, all the tacos coming through looked so good! I sat at the bar next to where the waiters pick up food to be served and I think that was the only think i saw for a solid hour were tacos being made. Definitely something to try next time. Other than food, customer service was also fantastic. My first kombucha was a very flat, so the bar tender was kind enough to switch out the keg for a fresh batch. Also everyone was super friendly and attended to you very well. Ambience is great! It's a perfect place if you need to study with a drink during the day. Not that I experience night life, but apparently it's also supposed to be a great place to start a night right. Definitely somewhere to come back to!!

Love the Kombucha Town kombucha! Especially the Cascadian Hop. Citrusy and refreshing. Culture Cafe has a small menu of tasty accompaniments to nosh while you enjoy your beverage. Near the Downtown Farmers Market which is open on Saturday's from 1100-3p. Culture Cafe is a relaxing stop after an afternoon perusing local produce and gifts.

The portions for sandwiches have shrunk significantly and the choices! They no longer have my favourite grilled salmon sandwiches and the new ones are quite skimpy.... not does it include the sides :( too bad as I loved this place! The food is still tasty but not the value anymore and actually expensive now where regular $6 sandwiches elsewhere will cost $12 and not full you up!

I found this " vegetable and tofu" roll the most bland I've had. No herb, sauce , crunch.... I am a fresh roll lover, so a little discerning, but this was truly flavorless. Tofu, rice noodles, leaf lettuce and rice paper. Thats it. Like eating a carrier for too little peanut sauce. The pho was filling and came with a plate of bean sprouts referred to as "the vegetables" . The Vietnamese coffee was tasty but presentation awkward. It came as Condensed milk in a cup with a pour- over atop this and the separate glass of ice. I'm no expert in this ritual but I am accustomed to having the milk cold in the ice and the brewed coffee in a spouted vessel for easy pouring into the iced milk. Here we had to mix the brewed coffee, then add it dribbling and spilling to the ice. No big deal but awkward. It tasted good. The prices were reasonable and parking a lot shared with the strip mall . Not within the restaurant's control , but in circling for a spot around one lane, I was nearly backed into by not 2 not 3 but 4 cars. I think I recall a cannabis shop being in the mall or nearby. This may explain that. The service was friendly throughout. The place was empty but the time was odd. I don't think we'd return based upon the fresh rolls alone.

And it helped that it was within walking distance. Upon walking in, the staff let us pick an empty table. The place is rather typical looking for a family-run Japanese restaurant. It was clean, which is the most important thing for these quick lunch stops. - Takoyaki: OK. Good size, covered in bonito flakes. It was quite well presented and tasted fine. My only complaint was that it was close to lukewarm not hot, so it didn't seem freshly made. The greens seemed unnecessary. - Vegetable Tempura: OK. Nothing special. A good tempura batter is very light and airy, but this one was a bit bready. - Shoyu Ramen: OK. Good size, and flavors where there. The pork was the thickest piece I've ever had in a ramen bowl, but very tender, so no real complaints. - Chicken Teriyaki Rice: Not recommended. Chicken was tender enough, but I prefer chicken with skin. Plate was drowning in sauce. Edible, but not enjoyable. Service was simple and nice enough. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, we were satisfied. The food here caters to what locals want and expect, and they generally do a fine job with it. If I was hungry and was in the area, I would certainly consider it.

Wonderful food and drinks. I started with oyster shooters (Willapa Bay) along with a Lion's Tail cocktail. Sierra said the bourbon and lime complement each other. I wouldn't have thought so and thought it a bit of an odd choice. But she was right and I was wrong: it was fabulous. One of the most delicious drinks I've ever had, for my tastes. She gave me several recommendations for dinner. I picked the Jalapeño Chicken. It was luscious and flavorful, but the best part of it was my choice of Balsamic Brussels sprouts as my side--oh my! These were so delicious I ordered two more batches to have at home. Lovely espresso martini to end it all.

I was happy to see steamed clams on the menu. I grew up eating fresh steamed seafood for dinner, so battered fried seafood that is more common here hasn't really grown on me yet. To me fried seafood is a fancy version of chicken nuggets. I loved the clams, so light but bland. The sauce is full of umami flavor, drizzled with some fresh lemon juice, it was like a summery beachy afternoon in a bowl. I could easily dip a loaf of toast with it if I had one. The clams were fresh and meaty, nothing to complain about with this dish. My partner had the grilled cheese, and he said it was mid. He's vegetarian, and I don't like cheese, so I didn't bother to try any of his meal to do my own fact check. The staff were friendly too. Overall, this is a nice place to grab lunch when visiting Bellingham.

On this particular occasion, I ordered my meal online and just dropped in to pick it up. It was ready when I arrived. Overall, a positive experience.

I wanted to add more protein so I paid $1.19 extra for egg whites thinking that would be in addition to the "folded scrambled egg" that was already included in the sandwich. I also wanted to add some arugula and tomatoes to bulk up my sandwich, but they were out of stock at this location. My order status in the app said ready for about 5 minutes, but I didn't find it on the shelf. I did eventually spot my order sitting in the service window, but I didn't want to be rude or enter a restricted area to grab it so I sat there awkwardly until the cashier was free. I had ordered a drink as well and had to request my cup because apparently they don't include that in your pick up order. My sandwich came with two tiny slices of ham and the thinnest layer of egg white I've ever seen. No scrambled egg. There was an adequate amount of cheese but the sandwich was mostly bread which I probably should've expected so nice it's Panera bread. Id rather have saved some money on a premade packaged microwaved breakfast sandwich from Starbucks that comes with twice the ingredients. I waited in the line again to request the folded egg and the cashier was very professional and accommodating but breakfast had ended while I was waiting in line, and they had already gotten rid of all the eggs. They did offer me a pastry or some extra meat which I appreciated. There was only one person working the counter so maybe there was a staffing issue today. The experience would've been improved with better staffing especially while they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch. lesson learned: breakfast at Panera is a miss. Also, if you place an order for pickup that includes a self service drink, be aware that you will still need to wait in line to request a cup. So placing a pick up order online isn't a more efficient way of ordering and your food is probably getting cold while you're waiting in line for your cup. The locations ambience was very clean, cool, and bright inside. The back room that used to be a safe was probably 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the restaurant and felt great!
