When we told the male Chinese or Vietnamese-looking server that all of us seniors, he started doubting one of our lady friends in a loud voice. If you are going to advertise senior discounts, don't be an idiot yelling your suspicion. Just ask for an ID or a driver license. Then, when he came back with the check, he started acting like a moron and rudely throwing stuff. Then, the Chinese woman at the front came and started voicing her suspicions that there might have been 9 of us instead of 8. She started pointing to a plate and wondering loudly who was seated there. Never will we go back to this terrible restaurant where they don't treat its customers with common courtesy. What you get is sashimi, deep fried crab, Mongolian bbq that includes freshly grilled shrimp, a fondue set, and 8-12 scoop your own ice cream flavors. All of the above I listed was delicious. This buffet is the worse. First off, service is horrible. No one came to pick up the dirty plates. They never came to refill our water. The seafood lovers said the amount of seafood for the price was good but that it was all pretty flavorless. I tried the spring rolls, cheese wontons, lo mein noodles, and the veggie rolls. Cheese wontons were a little stale and the spring rolls were average. I liked the veggie rolls most of all and was happy I could get a ton of ginger. For 12.99, this place definitely beats the Las Vegas Wynn buffet (which is supposed the best buffet in Vegas FOR 55$ pre tax and tip)and the Luxe (33$ pre tax and tip). Shell-on shrimp were bland and a few undercooked. Many other dishes also bland. Avoid the ranch dressing which is thin, watered down and a little sweet. The ice cream was difficult for many people to scoop and their faces and bodies were stretched over the first row to reach the back row and no one rinsed the scoop when getting a different flavor. Our first time eating the lunch buffet on 10-25-22, which included my aunt, who recommended this place as she has eaten there numerous times over the years. Our group consisted of my wife and I, my sister and her husband. And as we're all of senior age, the bill for five was $67 plus change. The variety of food was very eye catching and delicious, and that includes the variety of deserts. We plan on going back in late November with our 14 year old granddaughter, and my aunt again. This time we'll have the Mongolian style dish that my wife and I will share. This way we have room for the many other type foods and deserts. Overall as a group we were very happy with the food and the staff. I've read some of the negative comments based on their experience. We experienced a positive eating buffet establishment. And we're not of Asian decent. Granted at least 77% of the patrons were Asian, though we conduct ourselves with dignity and grace and embraced the buffet dining experience with open arms and mouths. Came here with one of my brothers Friday March 2, 2018 for dinner. I give 3 stars because the food and selection was so so. I did notice that the oysters, salmon and tuna sashimi seemed like they've been out since they opened that day. It felt a lil slimy. There were variety of asian foods.The Mongolian bbq guy was not fast enough, but the bbq came out tender and well done as I had asked for. So, this is your typical Chinese buffet, so don't expect 5star rating service or food... i'm no expert but from what I've seen and heard... the price is not bad for what you get to eat... First off, its at a old "home town buffet" place. not a bad location but almost right next to it they have a KBBQ place... BUT this place looks pretty good, with seating probably over 100 people (mind you i went on lunner, so there was almost no one). the seats are comfortable and easily accessible to get up and out because they space each table out and not cramped... the staff,... if you been to any Chinese buffet style places you know you won't get superb service... i was seated by an 8 year old because two other staff (one manager/owner, newbie) took their time checking out a "to-go customer" some of them are mean, but there were several that were more than helpful... there was one dish had discrepancy and she fixed it right away, the kitchen crew on the other hand had an issue... The food... there were some good and some bad and discrepancies... my favorite was stir-fry, where you get to put whatever you want... i thought the guy may have over cooked it but it was perfect... it just took a while... some other were baked seafood on a half shell (it wasn't over cooked like most places), fried blue crab halves, some rolls were not bad at all... some bad were seafood soup was slightly sour, crab leg colors were weird as well as some were old, crawfish was dry event it was in soup/sauce, pineapple was washed in excessive salt (most places wash in salt to counter act the case in bitterness, but they washed in too much salt),... the discrepancies... or health hazard was flies and gnats in can peaches, the staff address this right away and took it away and she profusely apologized... few moments later another man brought the thing out slightly pissed and it got awkward... i would have given this place three stars but its hard when you have some food that are questionable and putting yourself at risk instead of enjoy the food, the staff as some other people have mentioned, needs some people skills. Their Sushi is low grade and the food is okay mediocre at best the person that cooks The Hibachi Grill seems like he hates the world and takes a lot of bathroom breaks as for the desserts they have self serve ice cream and a chocolate fountain. I have eaten at similar buffet. They have different names but serve pretty much same food. Here, there were more choices and The food was fair, at least most of them not too salty ior sweet. The oyster was reasonably fresh. The overall food were at average taste, flavor and clean. The price was fair for buffet. There are a few things they need to improve : 1. They need to clear out the used dishes. We had to ask the service people to do that because dishes were piling up and taken up space. 2. They need to serve the ice cream, or with gloves and one use one scoop for each kind of ice cream and a small dish to rest each scoop. Can't let the customers self serve. Just think about everyone was using their hands to eat, and for sure licking their fingers. Then all grabbed to scoop, and when done, they dropped it in the bin. 3. The fried crab was not fresh but I guess that's expected at these places. 4. The other kind of crab was way too salty. I love crabs but couldn't eat anymore after one bite. I don't know why these buffet places do that to the crabs. 5. Yes , pay attention to the bills. They sad 15% off but they add other things and then top it with 10% service charge. They didn't discount for seniors. The only thing they did for service was served the drinks, which you pay for. They don't clear out dishes. They have a Sushi bar, (which has a lot of potential) but it did not seem fresh and seemed as it had been sitting there all day. The basic food items such as broccoli and beef were cold and plain, the fried rice felt was hard and no flavor, sweet and sour soup was also flavorless. I tried the tapioca pudding and it was again flavorless, the cantaloupe was not sweet therefore they added lechera (condensed sweet milk) with pudding. We called over this employee and I saw him throw his towel on the table like he didn't want to help us. Afterwards, we asked if he wanted us to leave our plates on the table next to us and he just shrugged.
