Food was delicious! We had a server named Chris who served very well. He made our first visit so welcoming and helpful, explaining menu items with a friendly smile. Service was 10/10 from start to finish. Ambiance is breathtaking, with a beautiful view of the Hawaii Kai area and sailing boats outside on the deck. The atmosphere felt relaxed yet special, perfect for a memorable meal. I truly enjoyed it here and will definitely return for another wonderful dining experience with family or friends soon.

This is a cool restaurant close to the water. Its open air and just a casual place to kickback. I Never even knew it existed. It in koko marina shopping center in the back side closer to the marina. If you just drive through the parking lot you will miss it. If you park behind the service station and just walk towards the marina you will see it. A hidden chill spot for sure. It must be in the tourists books because there was a lot of tourists. The insides is not airconditioned but had a nice breeze blowing through the open air patio. The staff was pretty cool and casual I know this because my friend spilled his water and the staff was super cool about it and friendly.. The menu was your typical burgers tacos salads etc. Food was good prices manageable vibe and interior of restaurant laid back and cool. A real cool albiet tourist laiden spot to hang while at koko marina

The ahi nachos were super yummy! Our server was very nice and we were seated outside right by the water which was an amazing view.

Great beer, great food and great atmosphere. Really loved the wings and the beer flights were a great way to try everything. Our server Leah was also great. She was very attentive during our entire meal and really knowledgeable about all the beer selection they had. Definitely returning soon!

I give the 5th star again because the pizza and dishes are way improved. Great amount of toppings, the choices to add/swap-out ingredients and the yummy pizza dough is now addictive. Friendly hostesses, bartenders and servers here. A lot of longtime and familiar workers. Beautiful views of the harbor. Wednesday evenings have live music with BOOGIE playing a wide variety of songs on his selection of guitars. A must see/listen! Goes without saying, but I will. Wonderful selection of beers and weekly beer specials. They have mixed drinks and tropical libations as well. Great place for visitors and locals.

Great ambiance and service! Try to get seats by the water! 18 photos/vid were uploaded, although I'm pretty sure Yelp won't include them all with my review.

Kona Brewing was a perfect place to stop between our East Oahu activities. The harbor view is the perfect backdrop for lunch and a beer. I started out with Liliko'i Kea, it was light and refreshing yet still flavorful. I had the mahi tacos and they were good and made with fresh caught fish. They also had some unique items on the keiki menu which my daughters enjoyed.

Kona Brewing has gone down hill over the years. Last visit, I got the sliders. The buns and patties were super dry! I had to drench the burger in ketchup and eventually ditch the buns. Bummer because I used to like stopping here after hiking.

Light Sunday lunch around noon by the water was fantastic! Highly recommend to wind down, relax, and drink a cold beer on a Sunday afternoon. The menu is very limited, so we all got burgers. Service was rather on the slower end, ~40 mins for our food to arrive and it was a slow day. Burger was a solid 6.5/10, so it was good, but not something you'd expect from a brewery! But it does the job. Beers are always good, and the views were perfect. Parking was easy since there's a lot.

This is a nice breezy restaurant in the Koko Marina Shopping Center in Hawaii Kai. It is right on the marina so beautiful views! Lots of parking and seating! There is a huge bar with a large screen TV to enjoy! Started coming here a year ago to celebrate a friend's birthday! The menu is extensive with salads, burgers and Mexican food! It's a nice place to have lunch after going to the monthly craft fair, especially because they have restrooms! Check out the Burger Specials! Last Saturday, my friend and i had the special: Guacamole with bacon, lettuce & tomato! So juicy and delicious! Just oozing with fresh guacamole! My friend said it was the "BEST" she has ever eaten! I have to agree! Plus, the service is quick, fast and accomodating!

Came here on a Monday that happened to be a holiday, and the service was extremely slow. Even when the drinks came out, they were mixed up and given to the wrong people at the table. We waited at least 20 minutes between drinks and ordering our food, it felt like we had to look out for our waitress just to get an order in. Food-wise, I got the sliders, the sliders were good, but I honestly didn't understand the pickle placed on top of the bun instead of inside very odd. The waitress asked if I wanted cheese on the slider which I replied yes, but the portion of the cheese was so little, it was easy to miss. My friend ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp and nachos. The Caesar salad was alright, I did really like the nachos though. They were good and a huge portion, so that was a plus for sharing. We split the tab, the waitress added a drink that someone else's on my tab, which was frustrating to catch at the end. The ambiance is nice though it's right in the water which I love. Overall, the food was decent, but the service issues really took away from the experience. It wasn't even that busy inside so not sure what the hold up was. Hopefully this was just an off day, but it definitely didn't leave a good impression.

Came here after work just in time for their happy hour from 3-6pm. It was also Wednesday and they had Kama'aina Wednesdays which offered 15% off all food items! We were seated outside on the patio right next to the docks. It was nice and breezy with a stunning sunset view. Service was friendly and attentive, the staff kept our waters filled and made sure we always had a drink. Our server got a few of our orders wrong but quickly fixed it when we brought it to her attention. Overall, the food was decent but the nachos were disappointing. The chips were stale and had barely any cheese on it. The cheese was also dry and hard so you couldn't really scoop it up. It seemed like it could've been sitting out for awhile too. Surprisingly, the best item were the pizza rolls on their happy hour menu. It came out warm and crispy, definitely a fave for the table. It's a decent place for happy hour if I'm in the area and want to enjoy outdoor scenery but it's not a place I'd frequent regularly.

Beet Salad, added shrimp and avocado
    Debra N.

For a very busy place, a experienced waitress was polite and took 12 individual orders on separate checks...awesome! I had the beet salad with added shrimp and avocados. The balsamic vinegar and oil really kicked up the greens, halved tomatoes that gave a sweetness and slightly tart. It grabs your palate! Shrimp was charred and well seasoned. That was the tastiest salad I ever had! Definitely, I'll be back! We added to the ambiance by singing a four part harmony acapella Christmas Carole for all to enjoy in the restaurant...Na Leo Lani Chorus - Barbershop Style...Ciao!

Unfortunately, something has changed recently and you can see it throughout recent reviews here, which tells me this is a taught practice by management and not just one shady server. Mainly, being up charged or sold "extras" without disclosing they're actually add ons. Our table of 4 had 3 different sandwiches, 2 burgers and a chicken sandwich. While ordering the server offered each of us, "would you like fries, onion rings, or salad with that?" There was no disclosure of it being additional, and she never used the words add ons or extras. When the bill was received, all 3 that received the sandwiches and "sides" were shocked to see upcharges (example $5.00 extra for 1/4 cup of greens and 2 slices of cucumber) when we were being offered these with our orders. When I asked the server about the charge, I asked why it wasn't disclosed it was extra, and that we only answered her question of which side we wanted because she offered as if it was included, her responses were baffling. The first was "There's nowhere on island that serves fries with a sandwich", to which I said, "but you didn't say it was extra, you offered them as if they were included", she said "it's written on the menu". To note: fries, onion rings, and side salads are listed on the menu, in their own section, separate from the sandwich sections. So while it is written, they know exactly what they're doing when they offer you sides or sauces, and you can see other recent reviews here making the same complaint. This left an extra bad taste for our table as we had come in to help support them after the recent tropical storm left them without power. We were excited to participate in a local event they were hosting and help support them after losing stock and days being closed from the storm, just to have this shady process of being upsold things we didn't order (on a $350+ bill that also included shirts from their merch store). Scuzzy way of thanking your community for coming in and patronizing your restaurant. Really disappointed after years of Hana Koa being my favorite place.
