Great food! Had the lomo saltado, it was cooked to perfection and hit the spot exactly for what I was wanting. The vibe in there was fun. They had karaoke at the time we went. Overall, a good experience with even better food

Food was too tier the Cow Heart omg better than a steak well seasoned. The service was amazing and the ambiance will definitely have me coming back for sure. The food was amazing the best I've ever had. Here's the chief behind the making

Aeropuerto (arroz frito con lo main con chancho)

It's been 4 years already coming to Konakai and we can say they have the best food quality. Konakai has the most and delicious variety of Peruvian's dishes. Starting with the best ceviche, papá a la huancaina, anticuchos, jalea, and parihuela; then you can get an amazing lomo saltado, aeropuerto, fideos verdes with meet. Don forget to taste the best picarones as dessert, Inca kola or a good Pisco Sour drink.

Came in for Father's Day with my family of 7. The food was super delicious. I had the Lomo saltado with beef, onions, tomatoes, fries, and white rice. For dessert we ate the caramel flan and the Peruvian dessert Chocolucuma (fruit pudding with chocolate cake as a base). Yum! On another note, it was really hot inside. I recommend they get large ceiling fans. The service overall was great and good timing.

The food is always amazing at Konakai with fresh drinks and even fresher ingredients. The service was stellar and the waiters are attentive and friendly. The ambience sort of feels like a classy night out and it matches the food wonderfully. Over all it's a 10/10 place in the South Florida area.

Went here Sunday night. Shortly before closing. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY. Even got to meet the manager. The server HIGHLY recommended the Passion Roll (Sushi), the was beyond delicious and a big roll. For dinner we had the Pago A Lo Macho (Snapper Fish with Seafood Sauce) and Churasco A Lo Macho (Steak with Seafood Sauce). The food was EXCELLENT. I SHALL RETURN. Oh yea, THE BEST FRIED YUCA I'VE EVER HAD. The interior seemed modern, like it was recently done. Felt like the restaurant just opened.

Ceviche with several types of seafood, corn, and sweet potato.

This restaurant has great Peruvian and Asian infused food! There's ceviche is delicious. Their rice dishes are also good!

My girl and I dined there tonight after leaving the movies next door. Not sure what to expect we were blown away , the atmosphere is very cozy date night vibes and the food was fresh and delicious. Trying an app each we were almost full by the time our entrees came. Looking at the prices u wouldn't realize how large the portions are. I would say almost (Family Style). She loves Asian and I am fond of traditional Peruvian and we were both satisfied. Me met the owner in the mid point of our meal and he recommended 2 sauces that took the dishes to the next level. Will definitely be back! 10/10

Everything I ordered was so that I found myself looking for something to criticize. Honestly, there wasn't much. My only real complaint is the limited indoor seating if you're planning to study or work for a while. That said, there are plenty of outdoor seats, and on a beautiful cloudy day without the usual heat and humidity, it's the perfect spot. The fries were probably the weakest item. They seemed fresh and healthy, but they lacked any seasoning or flavor. Everything else more than made up for it. The ambiance and aesthetics were fantastic, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The customer service was outstanding as well. The young gorgeous woman at the counter was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, greeting everyone with a genuine smile and everyone else's kindness Overall: 100/100. I'll definitely be coming back.

MY 1000th REVIEW…read more.. As a Yelp review milestone, this morning I wanted to pick a mom & pop local food joint with at least 500 plus reviews and above a 4 star yelp rating. Well, I found one..."About Time Cafe" located on West Oakland Park Blvd. No outside patio but had a large seating area, cafeteria style, with four tables currently occupied with customers. This super bubbly waitress, Tabby, greeted me and told me I could sit anywhere in the gently outdated restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch comfort food. The menu items looked impressive with many interesting dishes ranging between $10 - $14. The "Eggs Your Way" for $10.49 was my choice with two eggs over medium, bacon, potatoes and whole wheat toast. My order was ready within ten minutes. Prepared my toast with a heavy coating of raspberry jelly. The eggs were cooked perfectly, loved the onions mixed with the potatoes, although the bacon could have been crisper, next time will order it well done. The bathroom was simple with no exciting decor and needed some minor attention, although, suited its purpose. Tabby alerted me to some deep discounted weekly food specials as follows: Taco Tuesday 1/2 priced Waffle Wednesday 1/2 priced Thirsty Thursday 1/2 off Mimosas Weekend Brunch Bogo Mimosas The food was fantastic and the customer service was commendable. Easy 4 star rating for this relaxed comfort food restaurant. I will return for an omelette and recommend this restaurant to other hungry foodies.

It's in a small strip mall off Oakland Park Boulevard, west of Hiatus. There is lots of parking; the place is plain but clean and houses a large dining room. Hubby had the big breakfast (3 eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and 1/2 order of French toast) and I got the full French toast. The ham was skimpy and paper thin and looked like a piece of lunch meat sliced in two. There were 2 thin strips of bacon and 1 sausage. The hash browns were good but probably about tablespoons worth. The French toast boasted a house made strawberry sauce. We didn't see any. And, when I asked the server, she told me to lift the bread. There was a faint, red smear, and she said that was the strawberry sauce. Nevertheless, the French toast was to my liking, soaked in batter and cooked properly. It was a bit after 12 on a Sunday (after church) and the place was relatively busy with 8-10 tables filled at a time and 2 servers. Plus, one young man was cleaning tables and assisting the servers. We were fascinated watching him clear tables with multiple trips carrying the dirty items in his two hands (no tray!). We even placed bets on how many trips it would take to clear a table of four. (I won, 6 trips.) While the food was good, the items didn't fulfill the promises listed on the menu. Service was congenial as the two servers rushed about trying to get everything done in a timely fashion. Prices were reasonable. Breakfast for two with tax (and free coffee from our coupon) was $28.

It's small, not fancy, but the food and service speak for themselves. Their breakfast menu is far from an IHOP or Denny's; it features real food, and in large portions. Loved that we were also able to order off of their lunch menu. The Ruben was delicious! The ambience of this diner is charming and laid-back, and with decor that includes art and photos of inspiring and humorous quotes. The staff are attentive, always checking on you. No way this stuff wasn't pre-made a while ago. Oh yeah, part of a banana and one strawberry. Despite what the waiter said, I could tell everything was pre-made. It's about the same quality as the free "continental breakfast" most cheap hotels offer except at the hotel it's still warm and you get refills on coffee and the waffle is freshly made and hot enough to melt butter. No free refills on coffee here unless you buy their "pour over," and then you get one small refill. The strainer for the coffee was stained and filthy when it was brought out, so they're not using fresh ones or even cleaning thoroughly between uses. GF had a meatless omelet and a smoothie. Her omelet was hot so obviously it was made fresh unlike mine. I told the waiter my food was cold and he swore he saw them "take it out of the oven," but nothing I ordered would be cooked in any over other than a microwave oven. Total bill for two: $60+. This was with a 30% discount on my plate for my food being served cold. Honestly you'll have a better, fresher meal at IHOP or Waffle House or Denny's, for a fraction of the price and you'll get coffee refills.
