But this time I went on Thursday to try the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Both were great. Seats are limited which means when it's busy, you'll have to ask to share seat or you'll have to take your pizza to go. However, after the incident, observation and order of food I received on 6/13/26, I cannot support this location. As mentioned we always had a pleasant experience at this location, with great service and great food. But this day the entire staff was off, and it was mainly due to the negative, micromanaging and rude manager/owner Partika. From the moment I walked in the establishment the vibe seemed completely off than what I was use to from past visits. It was scorching hot inside and the employees looked miserable. I quickly figured out why, as I placed my order with the gentleman upfront who was doing a great job, and here comes Partika hovering over him and reaching over him re-asking my order, although the employee had already entered it in and was simply trying to ask if I wanted to add anything else. Once done and paid, she then moves to the back counter and begins to holler over to the employees in the back about hurrying up with tickets, although they weren't very busy. I stood to the side as I had ordered a slice to grab now for my child, and then a full pizza and wings to go. Upon waiting, Partika approaches and tells me to sit down. I looked at her and told her it was not her discretion and I would await the slice to come right out as I already discussed with the employee. Once I obtain the slice i exit and wait in my vehicle in front of establishment. Out comes Partika harassing two men who had just finished up their pizza when I originally walked in and were still sitting at one of the table now having a refreshment from the adjoining establishment. She told them they could not sit at the tables they were reserved for her customers, and they told her they had just ate there and she begin to argue that now they had to move . Be advised there were many tables outside that any guest could choose from and her establishment was far from busy. Once my order was ready, I went back inside , and again she was arguing with another customer who stated the pizza she attempted to hand her was not hers if she could double check. Her rude comment was yes this is yours and the customer explained no her receipt clearly showed this was not her order. The gentleman apologized for the entire ordeal I had experienced and seen and gave me my order , in which I asked who she was and her name for reference. She then bolted towards me asking what the problem in which I told her the issue is she is very rude to very customer I had seen her interact with in the last 20 minutes. Fast forward to arriving home to now enjoy pizza and wings with my family. Open the box and the cheese is stuck to the top bc they failed to properly package it to avoid this mishap. Furthermore several of the winds were undercooked which could have created severe illness. I blame her presence, bad attitude and rushing her staff for these issues. I love the Tony Gemignani pizza brand but this Slice House in Mountain View has a terrible manager/ owner Partika who needs better customer service skills as well as management skills. I much rather have spent $100 with an establishment who had good customer interaction and treated their staff with respect.

This is a great spot if you're looking for a quick slice or a full pie. I haven't ordered a whole pizza yet, but judging by the massive boxes stacked near the oven, they're huge. The slices are the real highlight. A cheese slice is around $6.50, while specialty slices like the combo run about $8. The slices are enormous, loaded with toppings, and served hot and fresh after a short wait. I've tried both the combo and cheese slices, and both were excellent. The combo slice was so filling that I ended up taking my cheese slice home for my wife. I also appreciate the consistency, these last two visits so far has delivered the same large portions and generous toppings. They offer more than just pizza too, including sandwiches, salads, and I believe calzones. While it doesn't quite have the exact New York flavor I'm used to from visits to the Big Apple, the huge slices, fresh ingredients, friendly service, and great value keep me coming back. I've already visited twice in the last two weeks and will definitely be back again.

It was very good. The server was very attentive, well mannered and fast. She helped our group of 5 make a few choices. We ordered a pizza for the table and pastas for everyone. We also tried 5 of the 6 desserts they offer and they were also all very good. The only things that may seem out of place are the paper menus and that they only offer a few beverage options. They serve water but there's no soda machine. They had Coke, Diet Coke, Sanpellegrino Aranciata (orange) and Sanpellegrino Limonata (lemon), I don't recall any other drinks available. So if you don't like any of those or going with little kids, keep that in mind. Overall a very good experience, we will definitely come back.

We started off with the Ravioli Campare, which was absolutely delicious with the marinara and ranch (the ranch tasted really good though, almost like a caesar dressing). Then, I enjoyed my simple and refreshing Caesar salad with extra pepper for my taste. Next up was the Garlic Bread with extra mozzarella, the mozzarella tasted fresh and the bread was perfectly crispy. Then came our main courses, the gnocchi and the lasagna. I honestly never finish the whole plate at any restaurant, but I completely cleared the plate and so did my friend with his lasagna. And to top it all off, we shared the boozy tiramisu and ate every last bit. Aside from the food, our server was incredible. He said my order was $21. Fine. I drive 20 minutes to get here and the "manager" comes out all bristle and says he has never done this order before and has to charge me $45. All you have to do is look at my earlier orders! It's not about the $ but the idea that he thought it was ok to more than double what they said I had to pay on the phone was NOT OK based on principle. I ended up just leaving. No. What I mean is, if you break down their pizza (as I did in one pic below bc I have a cold, so I got mine to go), it's a cornmeal crust with a bunch of toppings and cheese, topped by a thick layer of tomato-based sauce. The crust is not super thin, but neither is it super thick and bready. It basically forms a shell around the toppings and sauce. The toppings can be healthy depending on what you choose. This time, I got 1/2 brass monkey 1/2 free bird. Brass monkey has a lot of sausage and ricotta, so not a healthy choice. Free bird has a really great amount of chicken! ... and some bacon, but I chose it. You could easily get a delicious veggie and chicken pizza, and it'd be better nutritionally. There's a good amount of cheese, but it's not overwhelming or super greasy. If you want in-your-face cheese, add more for another dollar or two. I like if the way it is. The tomato sauce is thick and surprisingly tangy. That reassures me it's not loaded down with sugar. Basically, is this super healthy? No -- in terms of my eating out/takeout, that would be a sashimi salad, or salmon with lightly steamed vegetables and a bit of sweet potato or quinoa. But it's decent for a Friday night out (or in) when you're not really trying to be healthy, but also not making a point of doing the opposite. As for price -- this is March 2026, and the large half-and-half composed of 2 of their priciest options was $39.14 after tax before tip. Now, that seems a bit high for one pizza. But I didn't eat all day, and 2 slices (out of 8) filled me right up. 3 slices would have left me too full, but probably still thinking "worth it!" 4 slices would make me super uncomfortably regretting-my-life-choices overfull. Sure, you can get cheaper pizza/takeout. But this is good stuff, like pasta toppings on a good cornmeal crust. If you ordered 2 solid pastas for under $40, you'd think that was a good deal! Well, this is 3-4 adult's worth of good pizza for under $40. Also, I used to cook and bake a lot more than I do now, and there's a lot of work and ingredient here, more than I'd commit to at twice the price. It would start making sense for me to mix up the crust and buy good cheese and meat and tins of San Marzanos if I needed 4 pizzas, i.e. to feed 15-20 people (with finger foods, salad, sides, dessert). Otherwise I'd just order here. Oh! I can't remember the last time I got takeout here. So they now have a shiny red takeout cabinet to the left as you walk in, and you just put in the last 4 digits of your phone # and your locker pops open! I would have liked not to be sick and to eat in, but the cabinet was pretty cute. :)
