So good! All of the food was fresh and tasty. We had the closed on Sunday, dodo bird, and some fries and it was all awesome. We don't live anywhere near here but would totally come back if we did!

Came in for lunch with coworker who swear by this place. I'm not big on sandwiches but I ordered the carnivore pizza. I really enjoyed it. Although, I wasn't there long, I will definitely be back.

A while back i went to Kook, it was pretty dead inside. Ordered food and they brought the wrong dish, questioned it, waiter said nope this is your order. Had to grad a menu and point out to him i guess an manager it was wrong. That was fine they went made it right and comped a dessert and the food was ok. This evening we got delivery and ended up with a pizza that looked like it got burnt up on rentry to the earths atmosphere. Like who took this out of an oven put it in a box and said this is fine... Two for two they messed up

I really love this place! Fantastic pizzas, sandwiches, and an endless variety of beers. We had a large party and they had no problem accommodating us. Will definitely s be back. Loved the Beast pizza with double pepperoni and their Mother Clucker chicken sandwich. Yum!

Great place for pizza takeout! We've ordered takeout twice and pickup is consistently on time and pizza is hot and not soggy. Ordering online is also super easy bc they take Apple Pay so it was like 3 clicks max to order a pizza. Yay!

Kook Dogg Cafe opened within the last year and man is it delicious! Every time we come here we order something different whether it's a pizza to share or a sandwich. They have a variety of cocktails as well to choose from as well as beer. We always sit at the bar and have pretty good service.

FOOD/DRINK: 4/5 SERVICE: 5/5 EXPERIENCE: 5/5 I have been wanting to give this restaurant a try since it had recently opened. We were warmly greeted at the door and seated for a late lunch. The waitress was kind and let us look through the menu a while before settling on what we got. I got the "dodo bird" (chicken parmesan) sandwich with the ginger brew I love, while my husband got the steak & cheese. The chicken on the dodo bird was grilled, but I think it would have lended itself better to being a traditional fried chicken parm (or chicken tenders cut up?). It was a little bit soggy after a while. The bread itself was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside - perfect for a sammie. I can't attest to the steak and cheese myself but my husband said it was really good. The sandwiches are huge! So either come hungry or plan to share. Can't wait to try some more.

Tried this new restaurant yesterday. Interesting menu options with lots of sandwiches. I got the fish taco special not on the menu. It came with 3 tacos and a good spicy mayo sauce. The slaw is decent but a bit wet. Also, I also wished there were chips along with the special. The restaurant is nice and clean with good service. The only misses for me are chips and pickle cost extra for sandwich.

A shout out to Yelp friend, Nina W. for writing a review of this place. Her review brought my attention to RTC where I discovered that Kook Dogg now occupied the spot where Little Beast used to be. Also, I noted that BGR closed. We took a look at Kook Dogg's menu and noticed that as of this writing, it's still a work in progress. They say the addition of a few entrees will be coming soon. We were here for an early dinner on a Sunday. An employee, who also turned out to be our server, greeted and seated us at a 4 top table by a window. He was friendly and we chatted about the place. My husband felt he had to tell our server that their restaurant was in a "cursed location" due to the fact that it was now the third restaurant to occupy this spot. The first place to be here was The Famous Toastery (which our server didn't know about) followed by Little Beast, which he told us moved to DC. The decor was nice---tables with blond wood and some signage and art on the walls. We decided to order a medium sized Margarita pizza. I admit we ordered it with some trepidation as the place is still new. For drinks, I had a lemonade which was nicely flavored with just the right balance between tart and sweet. My husband had a can of Dr. Brown's cherry soda. We were pleasantly surprised by the pizza! The crust had the right thickness as it held up well when eaten using one's hands. As for the sauce, it had a nice homemade flavor and had pieces of tomato in it. The mozzarella portion, as well as the fresh basil were very generous. We enjoyed every bite of it! Surprisingly, we still had room for dessert. We chose to share a slice of Basque crustless cheese cake. It had a blueberry topping. While we enjoyed it, we have to give the nod to Sixty Vines' version as it was creamier. Still Kook Dogg's version is decent. We plan to eat here again. Their sandwiches sound good but, to us, they struck us as being very filling. We're going to keep a watch on the upcoming entrees. Our server said that they are still tweaking the menu as they watch to see which items are more popular.

    12. Walter's Revenge
    Katlyn H.

I recently came here for lunch and it was so good! I decided to get the Walter's Revenge sandwich with a side of chips and pickle. The sandwich was so tasty and it overflowed with toppings. The chips were also delicious, but I didn't need them because the sandwich was so filling. They are recently opened so now their menu is mainly sandwiches and pizza, but the menu showed they will have other entrees soon. The service was great, my friend and I had to catch up, and our waiter was so patient. Once we finally ordered, our food came out quickly. The restaurant itself feels like a casual cafe, I loved the vibe. I can't wait to come back!

Saw these guys comment on a local page that they go above and beyond for gluten allergies!!! So it was the first pizza place I wanted to try! It was great, great flavor crust, slightly sweet. My child, a picky one, complained the sauce is too chunky! So if you aren't about that... but I think it was great, small pieces of tomato. Was wonderful cold as well! Hubs was disappointed in chicken parm sandwich, was just shredded chicken, not breaded, so not what you typically would expect. Wouldn't order again. Italian beef sandwich was pretty good. But would try other things before going back to it. Will be added to our regular rotation.

Tried the Philly pizza and smash burger -- both were amazing! The toppings and ingredients were super fresh, and everything tasted delicious, especially the burger sauce. The staff were really nice and friendly, which made the whole experience even better.

Kook Dogg is barking up the right tree! Let me just say, if you haven't been to Kook Dogg yet, what are you even doing with your life? This place is the full package--amazing sandwiches, a cocktail menu that'll make your taste buds dance, and pizzas that are straight-up masterpieces! My friend is still raving about the Wild Thing pizza with Boar sausage--seriously, he hasn't stopped talking about it since we left. The crab dip? Perfection. And the chicken tortilla soup? Let's just say it warmed my soul. But wait, there's more! The Basque Cheesecake was like a slice of heaven, and the Brown Butter Rice Crispy bar? Yeah, don't leave without getting one of these bad boys to take home. The dining area is super inviting, the bar space is comfy, and the staff? Just genuinely awesome people who seem like they actually enjoy being there. You can really feel the good vibes, and it takes the whole experience to a level that's just... wow. Already planning my next visit--Kook Dogg, you've got a fan for life!

Your app provides no updates on status of an order nor a way to request a status update on an order. If a change needs to be made, there is no way to reach the establishment directly as the listed phone number directs customers to an unreliable answering service which is Crucial Safety Feature if there is an error with the order; for instance an ingredient that the customer or their family members maybe allergic to that was added in error. The only thing the Deli Italiano app does effectively is accept payment, something a human cashier can do better because at the very least a human cashier can call management for assistance with resolving a customer's issue or answer any concerns a customer may have. The app does Neither. It's 2026. 90s website ordering wasn't this obstructive. I will be stopping by the deli location in Herndon next day before 5:30 PM to have this addressed Directly. That's probably because of all the really good Italian restaurants in all the major cities and Little Italy's up there. They were not crowded on a Thursday evening for our party of 9. I started with a Turino Old Fashioned, which features Whistle Pig Rye and hazelnut liqueur. The hazelnut was very prominent. But Whistle Pig Rye also has a distinct flavor, and I could not taste that at all in my drink, and in general I was expecting a stronger flavor overall. Our dinners all came out relatively close to each other, 7 of them in the first wave, and the remaining 2 within a minute. My Braised Short Rib Lumache featured maybe 1 scoop of the short rib, atop pasta shells in a cheese sauce. The pasta and cheese appeared to be the standout in this dish, when I would have expected it to be the short rib. I don't think the Italian restaurants in the Northeast need to be too concerned. And with them you are more likely to get personal feedback rather than something which is generated as comments and automatically suggests trying the Happy Hour for more satisfaction.

We had a so-so experience with takeout at this Reston location a couple of years ago, which prevented us from returning sooner. Overall, we found the food here solid, tasty, and reasonably priced. The dining room was surprisingly full for 6pm on a Thursday evening, but we were seated immediately nonetheless at a comfortable 4 top. Service initially seemed a bit inattentive, but once someone actually took our order the staff kept on top of clearing plates and making sure we had what we needed. As we were particularly hungry, we ordered 1 arancini and 3 pies. The arancini comprised four tasty fritters of breaded and fried rice stuffed with chunks of tender, caramelized eggplant and smoked mozzarella cheese. The crisp on the parcels could have been more pronounced, but the flavor from the ingredients made for a nonetheless satisfying bite. The pizzas here are technically individual sized, though I find them slightly small for someone with a hearty appetite. The crusts here could have used a bit more leopard spotting and fermented tang, though had a tender crumb and a decent chew. Of the three pizzas we ordered, we most enjoyed the red Diavola and the white Onion Tart, the latter with our own addition of roasted corn. I appreciate that Pupatella offers a bounty of classic and unconventional toppings, which allows for ample customization without boredom. Overall, the pizzas here do not surpass those at our favorite Neopolitan joint in the area, but the proximity to home, more customizable menu, and family friendly vibe will ensure a repeat visit in the near future.
