Came in for a pre mothers day dinner with the fam. The staff was so accommodating. They were completely booked and offered to allow us dine at their waiting area space which offered comfy couches and table. We gratefully accepted the offer. To start I ordered the raspberry frozen margarita and my daughter ordered a mojito-mocktail. The establishment offers small bite/ tapas style dishes. We ordered way too many dishes; cucumber salad, poke bowl, stick ribs, dumplings, octopus, truffle mac n cheese, and tuna with crispy rice squares. All of the dishes had incredible flavor; my faves were the sticky ribs and poke bowl.

Everything about Koré is phenomenal. The food is delicious, the vibes are spot on, and the service goes above and beyond. If you're looking for a meal to remember, this is the spot. I highly recommend making a reservation! While they do take walk-ins, this spot can get busy even on weekdays. If you can't find a time that you like on OpenTable, set a notification for the time you want! I did that and ended up getting lucky with a cancellation the day before. It's pretty easy to find street parking nearby, and there is an attached free lot as well, though it does fill up quickly. I met up with two friends for our Saturday evening reservation, and we were seated right away.

First time here and the food was pretty good. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable which helped in deciding what to get. There was a good amount of seating and I like how the ambiance was. A bit of a dark setting but great for a date.

WOW YALL, I can't believe I slept on Kore so long! My wife & I met up with our besties & fellow Yelpies Amanda M & TJ M for an 8:15 Sunday dinner & were served by the incredibly friendly & enthusiastic Kensington. She took a good 5 mins to welcome us as newbies & go over all the highlights. We each started off with a cocktail from their extensive drink menu. I had the Beluga which was a deliciously sweet gin based drink heavy with lychee. I don't remember what everybody else had but we all tasted each others drinks & they were all solid. Between the four of us we probably sampled half the food menu but if I had to pick just two faves I'd go with the Salmon Don & the kimchi bacon risotto though it's REALLY hard to narrow it because everything here was exceptional. Every time something new was placed on the table & eaten somebody said "this is so good" I'd go so far as to say that Kore deserves all the praise that Noko up the street receives. The atmosphere is more fun & laid back, the food is just as good with some of the same creativity & inspiration, the drinks are better & the service is exceptional. I will be back & will bring more people to try Kore because they are doing everything right. Get down there & eat yall!

I about to become a regular here. The food is so flavorful. I loved the crispy tuna, and the k pop chicken. I can't wait to go back so I can try everything on the menu. Everything is shareable so they recommend 2-4 plates person. We for about 5 dishes for 2 ppl and it was plenty. They are a craft cocktail bar and everything was amazing. Service was fantastic. Shout out to our server, Kensington, she has great energy and gave us awesome recommendations. This is a great place to meet friends or have a fun date night. There is bar seating, couches and tables. The vibes are great to chilling and hanging out. They also have a private parking lot so that takes the stress out of parking. But the spots are sort of small so I can see it filling up fast. Can't wait to go back.

Korean food in Nashville??? As you can imagine, I did not have high expectations coming from NY. Especially when we walked in and saw no Asian customers in a pub-style atmosphere, which would be a big red flag in NY but not so much down here. As it turned out, there was no reason for concern. Kensington was our waitress and she was amazingly informative and super friendly! We learned that the chef and co-owner was born in Korea and the menu, while not traditionally Korean, is Korean enough. Highlights were the Kalbi steak, MU cucumbers, k pop chicken, plantains, crispy tuna and dessert. But the rest were also so good. One of the best meals we had in Nashville!!

Came here with some work colleagues and was pleased to say the least. We definitely spent a pretty penny, but was well worth it. Be prepared to do the same especially if you want to indulge in multiple dishes (and even accommodating for a party greater than 2-3 folks.) We didn't have to wait because we had a reservation in place the day prior. We had the time at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. No problems there. Our server was also very friendly and attentive (his name is Travis). He made sure to give us our time/privacy to chat but also showed face to fill our cups, clear our dirty dishes, and make sure we were cared for. Most importantly, the food/drinks. Although portion wise they are on the smaller side, you are paying for the quality over quantity. We ordered: Mi Cucumbers, K-Pop Chicken, Sticky Rib, Duck Tacos, Truffle Mac and Cheese, Gnocchi, and a few cocktails on top. I had the "Kore-Anita" and was happy with it. Definitely would get again if I weren't trying anything else. Lastly, seating inside was fair. Not too large but also didnt feel too small. Again, my party was a size of 4 and I already thought that was "larger" than the average parties I saw in there at the time. Definitely a place for a date. Would recommend. My personal rating: 4.6/5

I came here with work colleagues on a business trip. We were able to make a reservation for a Saturday evening, and boy, did we need one. It was hoppin' in there! We went on a rainy evening at around 6pm and it was busy. While we were waiting for our seats, we saw so many delicious plates of food and unique drinks. We knew it was going to be hard to choose! Thankfully, the two ladies I went with had been before, so they were able to help me in choosing. We decided to get a few plates for the table and share. This is definitely an elevated tapas/dim sum/small plates spot. We went with the truffle mac & cheese, mi cucumber,k-pop chicken, sticky rib, crispy tuna + rice, and the scallops. Between the three of us, this was sufficient in terms of food. The plates vary in terms of quantity/size. For example, the k-pop chicken had a decent amount but for the scallops there were only three with the order. For drinks I tried the Blackberry Rye and the Hibiscus Bubbles. I love when rye whiskey and fruit are mixed, it is absolutely delicious. And then the bubbles drink was just fun. It tasted good and also had these cool bubbles on top. Very fun and funky. We enjoyed our meal but in true busy spot fashion, we had to vacate at around the 1.5 hour mark because they had another reservation coming in. While I ubered, there seems to be parking close by. All in all, this was a really fun (and expensive) experience. Definitely worth it in my opinion. I am trying to figure out how to get back to Nashville just so I can go here again.

I was in town for work for the week and this was our last celebratory dinner with just one of my colleagues and I and I wish I had found this place. We had too many meetings. Anyways we came in knowing bar seating was our only option after calling and found only one seat available. Staff were so kind that they pulled up a second barstool and had some people scooted down which everybody was happy to do. Gotta love how polite it is in the south. Jen the bartender was phenomenal. We started with some cocktails a lychee martini and I forget what my friend ordered. Loved these. Then we asked Jen what she liked. She gave us all the customer favorites and added hers into the mix. I think we based our whole dinner on her recs and if you're reading this yall should do the same. This is tapas style to expect to order a few things. We got the broccolini (5/5), salmon don bowl (4.5/5) only bc the rice filled me up and I needed room for more delicious things, kimchi bacon risotto 6/5 tbh the best thing we had IMO, sticky ribs (5/5) and we capped it with the caramel dessert. Start to finish this was an awesome meal with great staff and incredible food. The inside is so cute you can tell it is well loved in the neighborhood.

Supremely great food! I went simply for a drink and dessert and was convinced in the first bite and sip that I would be coming back in the near future on my next trip. I had a freshly squeeze watermelon margarita and a cheesecake packed full of love! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and made me feel right at home. (Thank you London, Travis, & Sabrina!) And observing all of the dishes that went by me, I knew I was in foodie heaven! Don't miss a chance to come here! Your pallet will thank you!

Great atmosphere. It was our first time and the menu was intimidating, but waitress explained it well. The drinks were excellent. All of the food was delicious. The service was top notch. I highly recommend Kore for a fun date night or just a casual but elegant night out.

Love Kore for some good quality Asian fusion food in east Nashville! They have a pretty good happy hour deal (bar only). Beer was $5, wine $7, and cocktails were $8. I love the capri moons they had, which were essentially adult capri suns and they actually come in a capri sun bag. I also tried the lychee martini, which is a little less sweet than the lychee capri moon. In the happy hour, they also had food specials which ranged from $3-$10. The spicy tuna crispy rice is a must get if you like raw tuna. It was so fresh and paired well with the crispy rice. The K-pop chicken was really delicious, good flavors, and perfectly fried. The cucumbers were refreshing. The sauce was really good and I think it had sesame oil, but whatever that was, wow, get me a glass of that sauce.

We've made Korè Nashville our regular Wednesday night date spot, and it never disappoints. If you go, sit at the bar and take advantage of the happy hour--that's the move. The pricing is basically cut in half, and it lets you try a bunch of different things without breaking the bank. We usually order one of everything on the happy hour menu for each of us, plus extras. The tuna tartare is our favorite by far--we always get three to share. The crispy rice with it is unreal. I like to dip the crispy rice in the cucumber salad dressing and then stack it with the tuna... next level. The gem salad, cucumber salad, and K-pop chicken are all outstanding too. We usually just get one K-pop chicken to share since it's rich, but it's seriously good. The vibe is trendy and busy, especially at peak times, so get there early. It can get a little loud, but that's part of the energy. One heads up: if you're not sitting at the bar, you won't get the happy hour specials--and that's where the real value is. Great food, great atmosphere, and one of the best midweek date night spots we've found.

First time here and it did NOT disappoint. For starters, our waiter Travis was GREAT!! Had great recommendations and always made sure we were doing good. As far as food, we ordered the dumplings, fortune udon, the ribs, crispy tuna and Mac and cheese and everything was AMAZING!! Highly recommend this restaurant. We live here and we will be making this place a weekly rotation for us. read more

WHAT a fantastic Valentine's Day feast some friends and I recently enjoyed at Kore! Being an insane Asian cuisine fanatic, I was excited to try everything on the menu...and thankfully, everything was so beautifully presented and nicely priced too. The service was stellar, the vibes were good, the drinks were interesting, and my word, every single bit of THAT FOOD was exquisite. The flavors and textures and tastes were all just sheer perfection--our entire table just couldn't get enough of all those tasty bites! This is *definitely* one of the best new restaurants in Nashville for good reason and I can't wait to one day return and try even more of their effortless hospitality and vibrant vittles. read more

The tapas here are incredible. Every bite was so delicious. The service was great too. They were able to get my group in last minute, although we did have to sit outside and it was a bit windy. They were kind and put on a heater for us. The kitchen did forget our truffle Mac and cheese after asking multiple times, and ended up taking it off the bill, but honestly the other spread of food completely filled us up! The portions were great and our favorite were the ribs and gnocchi! Drinks were fun and came with a little light inside haha. It's a fun dining experience for groups and I hope to come back! read more

Everything was 20 out of 10. We were 30 min late to the reservation but they accommodated us in outstanding fashion. We were seated at the couches by the bar. Originally we were on the fence but come to realize that's one of the best spots in the house. All the other tables are fairly close together and smaller in size however at the couches, a good 20x20 foot area of your space. Our waitress was outstanding. We had a 3 month old and she was the nicest ever. And the food and drinks were outstanding. We frequent noku quite often but this place supersedes it in everything. The manger was outstanding and gave us a little gift for the inconvenience of us not getting a table. We will most definitely be back soon read more

Holy moly! Y'all.... KORÈ (kor-ay) ain't playing any games!!! Originally drawn here due to their AMAZING restaurant in Franklin (shout out Mi Kitchen) - Korè is East's newest dining spot. The food is brilliant, creative and made with love. There's a fair amount of places to choose, especially in East (think Hawkers, Noko, Two Ten, Xiao Bao) but my shining star goes to Korè. What sets them apart is not only their stellar food but their service. Chef Yun and Chef Nick go out of their way to say hi when you're dining and to ensure you're having a good time. They are so friendly, humble, wonderful and kind. Avery, our server, is amazing! Attentive, kind, down to earth, personable and has great recommendations. Been to too many places in East where the servers are less than interested to be there and that is not the case here. The ambiance is casual yet elevated (def date night vibes or a fancy place with your girls!) serving Asian inspired tapas plates. They recommend 2-3 per person, but my husband and I love trying different dishes, so we'll get more to share. My personal recs: 1. Mi cucumber 2. Truffle Mac and cheese (mind blown!) 3. Sticky ribs 4. Kpop chicken 5. Kimchi bacon risotto 6. Lamb skewers 7. Crispy tuna (get an extra piece of rice) East Nashville has a gem here! If you haven't tried this place out, you HAVE to go! Sat at the bar and had a great meal!! The cucumbers were amazing, K-pop chicken was just the right amount of sweet and spicy! The sticky ribs are a must, the flavor and the generous amount of meat were one of our favorites! Don't skip dessert .The basque crème brûlée cheesecake is outstanding and the house made ice cream was perfect!! Lovely atmosphere and hip crowd! The food here is fantastic! Every dish we had was unique and done well. Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and happy to walk us through it when we arrived since neither of us had been there before. The inside was very cozy but we sat outside to get sat quickly which ended up cutting our visit short because of rain that came it but we got our last dish to go and closed out. The star of the show in my opinion were the proteins. The stick ribs and k-pop chicken were fantastic but the cauliflower and cucumbers were also great. The starches are very good but the flavors seem a little more muted after having the proteins with the exception of the truffle coming through very strongly in the nose for the mac and cheese. read more

My favorite restaurant in Nashville. The food is so perfect - I don't usually love Mac and cheese but the truffle Mac and cheese is to die for. Love the dumplings and espresso martinis just to name a few. Everything we have tried there has been a win. read more

My friends were visiting from NY and they said this was the closest experience they've had to dining in New York--every dish was a standout. You could really feel the chef's passion and thoughtfulness in each plate. We didn't have room for dessert (which we regret!), but honestly, the portions were generous for a tapas-style menu, and we were perfectly full after just a few dishes. Reasonably priced, incredibly flavorful, and supported by a warm, attentive staff. We had such a wonderful night! read more

This was my first time trying Kore as i am new to Nashville and a friend recommended it. I must say, i think this is my new favorite in town. The chef was absolutely sweet and talked us through the menu. We almost ordered the entire menu and nothing disappointed absolutely delicious. 10/10 would recommend to anybody in Nashville. Our new favorite date spot!! We love the tapas style of ordering so we can share each plate. Service is good, and food arrives in a timely manner after ordering. I don't have drinks pictured, but the watermelon margarita is a must. The restaurant is pretty new. They are still waiting on their beer license but had wine and liquor. I would give the food an 8/10 and the service a 6/10. The food overall was great but a few dishes I just did not love. It could just be personal taste. The chicken was great, I loved the dumplings, I don't normally like plantains but enjoyed these. The tuna and the beef tartar were not my cup of tea. The flavor was just a little off for me. I could have eaten an entire dish of the chicken myself but I tried to pace myself as my friends and I ordered a lot of dishes to try. The drink which I don't remember the name of was great, I got the mango but tried my friends lychee, the mango was good the lychee was great. Our server was very nice. I think they just don't have their systems together yet. There was confusion about who was serving which table. Some dishes they tried to bring to our table multiple times. We all got a second drink but the first drink glass was never removed from the table. The table next to us it took forever for someone to go and take their drink order then when the server figured out no one had been to their table yet, 3 different servers went to check on them back to back. The restaurant is pretty. The bench couch use a pillow as it was not the most comfortable. My recommendation for the best experience would be to give them another month to work out the kinks then to go. The food was very good they just still are a new restaurant figuring it out. read more

We LOVED our experience at Koré. The staff all seemed to genuinely care and enjoy their jobs. I loved my cocktails- Cocktails are often too sweet, and every single one that I tasted was balanced so well. I strongly recommend the pomegranate Paloma. The food was outstanding. Every time I come here the service, the food and the experience is something you don't get in Nashville. The staff will sit with you while your phone charges and show you photos or reviews to help you decide on a plate. The bartenders ask your name, the GM checks on you and brings you an extra side of crispy rice... even if you're to afraid to ask for more. Kore truly gives you an experience that most HIGH end restaurants can't even give. This perfect little hole in the wall restaurant is the best experience I've had since living In Nashville. Spent my bday there with our 9 mo old and forgot her diaper bag that had all her food and toys in it! Literally thank God for Kensington, London and our server, Tasha, for keeping her entertained throughout the night! They made toys for her, played with her, it was the best. Service is incredible. It was my first time eating at Koré and I had such a delicious meal. The K-pop Chicken was to die for. As well as the szechuan noodles and miatake mushrooms. The Toad Hollow Orange Wine paired perfectly with all our dishes. Travis was our server and he was amazing! My Irish friends weren't wrong, it's a fabulous place for a tapas style meal. Omg worst restaurant in East I don't even know why people show up here. I get it's a fusion place but fusion doesn't mean just throw sauce and salt on everything to try to cover up the bad taste of food. Ridiculous to try to have upscale pricing with low quality food and bad service. The only redeemable thing on the menu is the sticky ribs. We had to send some items back as well because of the taste. The crispy tuna was like eating a tub of kewpie mayo with slight tuna. Ambiance is ok just looks like every other place in East. Wow! Kore is absolutely a new favorite spot on my Nashville list. This place serves the most unique spicy tuna & crispy rice dish I've tried yet! It has a touch of sweetness to the crispy rice complement the savory element of the tuna. I love it. The only recommendation I have is to add 2 extra pieces of crispy rice to finish all the spicy tuna since the dish only comes with 4 pieces which wasn't enough imo. You absolutely want extra rice to finish the tuna, it's just so good! I added some of the soy & chili oil cucumbers to the top of my crispy rice & tuna as well for a fun flavor addition. I've been craving more of it all day today. I can't wait to go back & try some other dishes from the main menu. The restaurant is nicely decorated for a chic & modern yet classy vibe. Reasonably priced Michelin star level Asian fusion / Korean Tapas house in East Nashville. Every single dish we had fits the profile of richly flavorful & decadently mastered. We split the K-pop chicken, truffle mac 'n cheese, kimchi bacon risotto, and pork ribs. We had martinis - the sour redemption (a whiskey base that's not too sweet or too sour) and a lychee martini (gin base) that was also not too sweet, thankfully. Everything was 5 star + level. Expertly crafted and presented, tenderly cooked to perfection! The mac 'n cheese was by far the best I have had in my life with the truffle flavor, the tender broccoli, and the basil topping with a bit of charred/grilled cheesy crust. To our delight, we had not only a wonderful server, but were able to meet a co-owner who checked in on us during our time. My wife and I have been seeing this place for about a month now and decided to try it out last night. It was AMAZING. Everything from the food to the drinks to the service was great. We try and make it a point to try new places around town at least once a week and Koré has been the best experience we have had in a long time. We will definitely be back soon. The sticky ribs, spicy tuna, udon, and cauliflower were all excellent. My wife worded the lychee martini which she really enjoyed. Would highly recommend this place! read more

I wasn't feeling like eating a whole bunch of whipped cream cheese or a chicken salad. Portion sizes were pretty good, actually. I think the main things for me would be to simplify the menu and offer size options. Something like half a bagel or like a "classics variety" (like a variety cheesecake). So you could pick and choose quarters or maybe thirds. I was happy to see they had savory cream cheese options because they are so underrated. I also got their honey lavender lemonade which was fire and not too sweet. The staff were all great and it is clearly a pretty popular spot. Overall no issues and I will probably go again.

I popped into Kore during happy hour and honestly wasn't expecting to be this impressed. Everything I ordered hit the perfect balance of fresh, flavorful, and just a little addictive. The staff at the bar were excellent, always available to add more food along with giving excellent ideas (the salmon don!). The cucumber appetizer was the ideal start. It was super refreshing with just enough seasoning to make it interesting. Then the crispy tuna came out and completely stole the show. Light, crunchy, and packed with flavor without feeling heavy. For my main, I went with the salmon don, and it was exactly what I wanted: clean tasty salmon over rice with tons of random flavors throughout. Elevated but comforting and perfect. And the Kore‑Anita? Dangerous. The whole vibe during happy hour was lively, the service was on point, and the food was incredible. Kore is officially on my repeat list. read more

Service was excellent starting with the hostess. We were also visited by one of the owners who took the time to describe the dishes we ordered. This was much appreciated as we ordered majority of the menu. We also had a meet & greet from the chef which was very kind. Our server was incredible. Ambiance was fantastic, well-done place. Food- we ordered the entire menu with the exception of the veggie section. It was all incredible but a few items we ended up double ordering or will again next time: dumplings, sticky ribs, truffle Mac, chicken... and more ( I didn't write the names) My husband loved the octopus, risotto, udon. read more

We tried Koré Restaurant recently. The Korean chicken was really good--crispy with a nice sweet flavor that we enjoyed. However, the steak was disappointing; we ordered medium, but it came out overcooked and quite dry. Service was okay overall. Since we didn't have a reservation and were wearing workout clothes, we were seated outside. Because of that, we didn't really get to see or experience the restaurant's atmosphere.
