Amazing food! Feels like home food and the Galbi was just perfect. Kids loved it, too! Servers were great. We would definitely come here again.

Lunch Box No.2 spicy pork and bulgogi

This is an old favorite. Lunch spot for me. It's been many years since I've been back. Nice lunch good portions. Japjai and both proteins yummy!

Kimchi tofu soup - man oh so satisfying on a cold and rainy night. Served extremely hot - still boiling - when the place in front of you. Korean comfort food at its best Banchan is very tasty and also is on point.

Delicious food with quick service in Park N Shop. Korea House has a cute small shop vibe with open seating and pictures of the yummy food on the wall. The meal came with an assortment of appetizers, including fish, kimchi, and vegetables. There is also a convenient call button for when you want your bill or need service! This was very helpful for when we asked for a refill of some of the appetizers. I ordered the LB1 (Bibimbap with Bulgogi). It was a huge amount, including lots of vegetables and rice and an egg. Though, I would say there was not much meat in the bowl compared to the portion. This was an excellent lunch deal and not overly busy, so the service was prompt!

I haven't been here for a very long time and it almost felt like I was eating here for the first time all over again. The restaurant decor and table setting definitely stayed the same. But I noticed a huge change to the menu. They added more items and of course up'd the prices. We waited a long time for someone to take our order. And when we finally ordered, it took awhile to get our food. We ordered the pork shoulder bulgogi, oyster pancakes, seaweed rolls, and short ribs. Everything was delicious including the sides. Overall, the food was great, the bulgogi had a charbroiled taste to it which I loved. Will definitely return for their bulgogi.

We have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and it has always been one of our favorites. We are always greeted when we walk in and the staff has always treated us very well. The restaurant is clean and the seating is easily accessible. The food is really good but yesterday it was exceptionally good! The flavor of the dishes seemed to be a little different and whatever they did to enhance it I was surprised.

Spicy Marinated Raw Crab

Still our favorite Korean restaurant. Bulgogi isn't as good as it used to be but everything else is still so good. From the Sunudubu, BBQ, Fish to the Bibimbop, it's the best Korean meal I've had as a whole. The game changer is that they have the best Banchan. Our latest trip, we tried the Spicy Raw Marinated Crab, something fairly new on their menu. It was so good, can't wait to go back and have some more. As always service was excellent.

Smells amazing in here!

Plenty of seating when I arrived at noon and took in the smell of bbq meats. Yummy! While waiting for my friend to arrive I had time to review the lunch and regular menu. Easy choice for me to go with the chicken and galbi bento and when friend arrived he was hoping for the cold noodle dish which they had! We were served a nice selection of bahn chan and our food came pretty quickly. So much food that I took some of the flavor filled chicken and tender galbi home. My friend couldn't stop talking about his dish which is served with ice and side bottles of a vinegar and mustard sauce. Please give this place a try! Plenty of shopping center parking, very clean space and good service. I'll be back!

Japchae - Stirred Glass Noodle/ 잡채. Well, what's left of it anyway

Gonna have to be our new go-to Korean spot. Food is excellent here. Everything we get is tasty and nutritious. Service can be a bit slow especially when it's busy, but they have these buttons you can push to call for their attention. The store is clean and bright. Overall it's a pretty good place to get Korean food in Concord!

Jab Chae (L)
Mirabella M.

I like coming here for their lunch menu. Their lunch gal bi comes with six pieces. Their banchan is always yummy and I appreciate the complimentary refills. Last time we were here for lunch, they included a soup which I expected again this time around but when we didn't get any, I asked if they still offered it and the lady said not during the summer months. I later realized looking at other tables, they got jab chae for their table. Wish I knew that before because we ended up ordering the lunch jab chae that cost $16.95 while everyone else got it as a banchan dish. Will keep that in mind next time we come back for lunch.

Dwaeji Bulgogi(Spicy) - Spicy Pork/ 고추장 돼지불고기
Alexandre D.

Came in on a Sunday around 12 and was seated right away. We ordered C3 which was a sharing table option for 2-3. It came with two meat options, soup, and the banchan. Everything came out fresh and quick. The soup was just enough and hit the spot for cold weather. Galbi was tender and had good flavor. The spicy pork was my favorite out of everything. Overall a nice cozy mom and pop shop. I would love to try their lunch combos the next time I come. Overall 10/10 for me

Steamed mandu
Glenn L.

Craving the dolsot crispy rice, so we ordered the dolsot bibimbap and the steamed mandu dumplings. The banchan were a bit unique, which was a pleasant surprise. The dolsot bibimbap was fantastic - a great selection of ingredients and a nice crispy layer of rice. The dumplings were tasty, with an outer dumpling wrapper that held up and contained lots of pork. Overall, a solid meal.

We looked at the menu and ordered, and then we got some of banchan / veggie side dishes for our meal. We ordered the following - Japchae - noodles appetizer. Was a very decent size for an appetizer as well. The kids really enjoyed this. Tofu Stew - i usually get this spicy, but since my daughter didn't want spice, we got it not spicy at all. Tofu was soft and the beef was alright. This dish was on the more saltier side in our opinions, but wonder if the spice they would have added would have balanced out the saltiness. The side of rice helped cut the saltiness as well. Bimbimbap - love these stone bowl rice dishes! Was pretty standard and we added a fried egg on top as well. My son was a fan of this dish. I expected a bit more. Kalbijjim - the must dish to get here! We ordered the MINI one since we were sharing everything, and we didn't add on any toppings. The dish came and it was really big and amazing. However, either the person didn't hear me or ignored me, it turned out it was the regular size as we were charged $80+ for it instead of the $30 mini size one. It was really tasty - both the short ribs on the bones and not on the bone. There were radish, potato, and rice cakes mixed in there as well. If we knew we were getting a regular one, I would have liked some toppings such as corn or something... not too sure what happened there, but it was still really tasty. We had a bit leftover and were given a box with no lid. They would seal the box with the plastic wrap thingy. Would come back again.

Gen was the first K-bbq spot I ever tried, so it'll always have a special place in my heart. Over…read morethe years, though, so many K-bbq restaurants have opened up that unfortunately Gen kind of slipped off my radar. But this week, something came over me, and I decided to give it another shot. Lunch was about $22 per person as of June 2026. I remember going to the Concord location years ago and feeling like the portions were pretty small, even though you could order it as many times as you wanted. This time around though, our experience was completely different. Every order came out piled high like a mountain of meat. Everything was fresh, the marinades were on point. On top of that, our server was so friendly and attentive. Honestly, if I could give this place six or seven stars out of five, I would!!! Honey Soy Beef Belly: Absolutely amazing. The beef was sliced thin with the perfect ratio of meat to fat. The sweet and savory marinade complemented the richness of the beef belly oh so perfectly. I also loved the generous amount of green onions they sprinkled on top, which made this dish even more inviting. I'd order this again in a heartbeat. Beef Belly: This is basically the unseasoned version of the Honey Soy Beef Belly, so the quality of the meat was just as good. The nice thing is that you can customize each bite with the seasonings at the table, whether it's Green Tea Salt, Sesame Oil, or Sweet Soy Sauce. Simple but delicious. Bulgogi: Bulgogi has never been my favorite since I usually prefer savory over sweet, but this was still very good. The beef was tender, the marinade was flavorful, and everything was well balanced. That said, I'd still pick the Beef Belly dishes over this one. Chadol: This beef brisket used to be my go to order at Gen. Somewhere along the way, though, they switched to a leaner cut of meat. So now it wasn't quite as tender as I remembered. Still though, the meat was fresh and tasty. Honestly, it really comes down to your personal preference and whether you enjoy a leaner cut or a fattier cut. Pork Belly: Thick slices of unseasoned Pork Belly that you grill yourself and cut into smaller pieces then dip in Sesame Oil and Salt? Yes please! These were incredibly satisfying. Once cooked, the pork was even still tender and juicy. Easily my favorite pork option. Spicy Marinated Squid This dish had that classic Korean spicy sauce that balances sweet, savory, and spicy flavors super duper well. The squid stayed tender after grilling, it was amazing. I'd definitely order this again. Hotteok: A Korean style pancake filled with Brown Sugar and Peanuts. It's definitely a heavier dessert after a bbq meal than what I usually prefer, but it was still really good. The outside was pleasantly chewy (mochi like texture), while the filling was warm, sweet, and gooey. Kimchi Fried Rice: Don't sleep on this one because their Kimchi Fried Rice was fantastic. It had the perfect balance of tang and savory flavors, and it paired well with all the bbq meats. Super yummy.

We normally go to…read moreCajun Crack'n because not only is the food consistently good, but the service is always excellent. We've also been to Gen Korean BBQ before, just at a different location. When we walked in, the restaurant didn't look busy at all. There were quite a few empty tables, but we were told there would be a 5-minute wait. The host wasn't very welcoming and simply said, "5 minutes, wait over there." It wasn't rude enough to ruin the experience, but it definitely wasn't the warm first impression you'd hope for. The wait ended up being closer to 10 minutes, which was confusing since there were still several empty tables. It also didn't appear that they were short-staffed. We saw about five employees walking around the dining room, and while I'm not sure if they were all servers, there seemed to be plenty of staff on the floor. Unfortunately, the service throughout our meal was just very slow. We had to keep flagging down our server--or any available server--whenever we needed something. Our server herself was friendly, which honestly makes this review a little harder to write because she was pleasant whenever we interacted with her. However, the overall lack of urgency from the staff and the less-than-friendly greeting from the host affected our experience. On the positive side, the food was great and came out quickly, so I have no complaints there. But dining out isn't just about the food--it's also about the service and overall experience. The quality of the meal was enough to bring us in, but the service is what will determine whether we come back.

Didn't even think it had chicken inside. We ordered beef bulgogi which was very tender and filled with flavor. The fried red chicken had a lot of flavor but it felt like the ratio from meat to batter wasn't great. The rice cakes in chili was interesting... it tasted a bit like spaghettiOs... the texture of the dish was like a squishy tasting gnocchi. The japchae was filled with flavor.
