I will never stop saying good things about Korn Dog!! I love coming here for the sweetest small business owners and yummiest korean corn dogs. It's a little shop in Cap Hill and it's perfect for a little snack on the go! I remember the first time I came here, we were greeted by Seonja who was so friendly and cheerful. I love getting the #4 Potato Half & Half and #7 Corn Mozza & Hot (both $7.49). The staff recommended seasonings to put on top, and I love the street corn and mayo pairing. One is definitely enough to feel satisfied, but I always feel like ordering more because it's just that good. The inside is quite small but there's cute decorations and a counter with all the sauces and seasonings! I will say there's limited seating outside but you can also stand by the counter. I remember after I was done eating, the staff asked my thoughts and I love that they're so personable and really care about their customers! I will always keep coming back here.

No complaints here! This is a small pickup spot in CapHill. Very unassuming and seems to be locally owned! The menu is very detailed and there's many different Korean corn dogs to choose from. I got the Potato Mozza, which was perfectly crispy and had plenty of potato! The mozzarella did it's cheese pull and we were on our merry way. The perfect mid-day snack while shopping in the area. I would love to come back and try their Tteokbokki or Sodduk :)

Food - their full mozza are excellent. I like the ramen coating best and my partner likes the corn. They have the best full cheese "dogs" out there! It's also nice as a vegetarian to have these options too. I also liked the dalgona milk tea. Service - very kind and patient! Ambiance - it's a small little place but it's very cute and decorated with charm and care. Love stopping here for a snack!

I came by with friends to try their corn dogs and tteokbokki, and I really enjoyed their flavors, fun sauces, and friendly staff. It's a tiny location that can and did get rather crowded, so it's definitely a grab and go kind of place, though they do have a table or two outside. I enjoyed their creative corn dog coatings (corn, potato, ramen, and plain), and multiple variations of fillings with hot dogs, cheese, or both (half and half)! I recommend the sugar sprinkle at the end to give you an authentic experience and nice balance, or danjjan (sweet salty) effect.

I absolutely loved Korn Dog. The honey encouraged us to stop just simply due to the pictures on the window. He was drawn in by the Ramen dogs, and we decided to get a Ramen Hot to split. The service was friendly and I sat outside at the cute little tables while he added on chipotle sauce ad grabbed napkins. The restaurant has a nice touch where it announces outside when orders are ready, so you don't have to be indoors while you wait. I really really loved the Ramen Hot dog - it was crunchy from the ramen and sweet from their sprinkle of sugar, but with the chipotle sauce and hotdog, spicy enough to give it some zing. All in all we would definitely come back again. Korn Dog is an absolute must eat if you're in the area!

Came to Korn Dog around 9:30 PM after spending the previous couple hours at Gameworks. I ordered the Corn Mozz & Hot (Half mozzarella and half jalapeño sausage). Wait to order wasn't long, but did take close to 10 minutes for the food to be ready. The Korean corn dog was pretty tasty, but it felt closer to 3/4 cheese and 1/4 sausage. Plus the hot part wasn't nearly hot enough for me.

Always passed by but never had time to try (or we were on our way to dinner). Finally got to pop in for what I thought would be a quick snack, but we ended up getting 2 No 4 (mozz/sausage) and a (mozz/spicy sausage) and bulgogi Kimbap to take home. Haven't tried the Kimbap yet because I'm too full of delicious potato and cheese and hotdog, but I am looking forward to a lighter (healthier?) meal later! Love all the cookbooks and knicknacks around the shop, and the lady taking care of our order was kind and patient while we tried to narrow down our choices. The teen loved the ramen powder and I enjoyed the street corn powder on mine. Price is reasonable and service was quick. Wish it had seating for us short folks but the weather was good enough to take our snack outside. So glad we finally got to try this place!

Ordered the potato hot dog and enjoyed, although the sausage itself was a little less flavorful than that of Chung Chun. The space is pretty small but the staff is so kind and the sodduk was great!

I love this place! The corn dogs are always so fresh and pretty full. They have all the sauce options so you can customize however you want. My favorite is the all cheese filling with the corn coating! But heads up there isn't much seating inside/ outside.

Solid 4 star for this place. We were really craving Korean corn dog because the last place we went ran out...anyways, this place is relatively new in capitol hill. It's right at the corner and it's pretty small. There's some indoor tables for you to stand and eat or some small tables outside. Their menu contains korn dogs, tteboki, and fried rice cakes, so mostly street food type. We got the half and half of the potato korn dog. It's made fresh but it was piping hot so that was nice. The cheese could have been a little sturdier or they could have use a little more batter as it melted pretty fast. I like the sausage the most. It's not the typical sausage. These are thick cut and taste more like the sausage you would put on a charcuterie board than a regular hot dog. They have a little sauce bar where you can add your own sauces and powder to the corn dog. Overall, I'm coming back to try their other items for sure and see how they are :) it's nice to have another corn dog place as there aren't many options out there.

We can always use some more street food on Cap-hill. Korn Dog has made its grand opening late June, serving street style gamja-hotdog and snacks to the people. Korean corn dogs are either filled with a hotdog, thick cheese stick, or half hot dog and half cheese. Coated in a light batter then deep fired. You can get a hashbrown potato on the outside or crushed ramen noodles as a great texture option. Cheese pulls are super Instagramable and fun for everyone. They have a DIY sauce station for you to dress up your Korn Dog to you're liking. Including sugar, cheese powder, garlic powder, mustard, ketchup, sweet chili, ranch and a few more I can't remember. They're also serving up tteokkboki (rice cake) in various sauced as well as other classic fried options. I have unfortunately not gotten the chance to try any of the tteokbokki but probably will next time round. Good luck on your continued success Korn Dog.

    Sodduks!
    Amber N.

You won't be disappointed with their sodduks! Just as tasty as you'd imagine! Staff were friendly and patient as we ordered. Korn Dog is very much a ma & pa shop with exceptional snacks and staff. There is a complimentary powder and condiment bar where you can choose to enhance your snack. You can then either take your treat to go or enjoy it outside in their seating area.

Korn Dog gives you exactly what you expect. It's something different than your usual fast food. The workers are efficient, the food comes out hot. I like restaurants that have photos of every dish. I had a spicy dog covered with potato and it was perfect in that it hit the spot. The only danger at Korn Dog is biting into a wooden stick so be careful. We also had the 3 spring rolls and "sticky rice" , which is really just prepackaged white rice. But just add some sauce and your good to go. Easy and convenient if you're going to the Egyptian! There's even some outdoor seating.

I think that is the point of this dish, so if you want a more traditional spicy flavor then get the other ttoekbokki option (spicy rice cakes). We still loved this one and the rice cakes were so chewy and delicious. The cheese corn was very yummy and exactly what you would expect. It pairs perfectly with the other dishes. My friends also shared the Seafood ramen and Beef bulgogi. They liked both dishes. One of our favorite things were the side dishes actually! The tofu was so yummy, and the bean sprouts were so crunchy and well seasoned. We even asked for extra! The only aspect that makes it difficult to come more often is the price point.
