I liked the peanut butter latte- surprise, it tastes like peanut butter lol! Service was fast and friendly, I went close to when they opened and a line was already forming!

The Kos Latte: Pistachio and Matcha with almond milk and cold foam (half sweet)

As a Matcha lover, I approve of this spot for Matcha. Located by Petco park in a small corner area. Parking is a hassle but that's nothing new when you're in downtown, so plan on searching for parking. It's worth the time. Inside, was modern and has adequate seating. The service was pleasant and my drink was made in decent timing. I ordered The Kos Latte: Organic Matcha, Pistachio Cream And Cold foam with almond milk. I ordered it half sweet since I wanted to taste the purity of the matcha. It did not disappoint. The drink was so creamy and rich with a nutty pistachio and matcha flavor. I savored every sip. I also appreciate the fact that they offer different cup size options and not just one size for all drinks. Glad I tried this place and I will be returning for more matcha and other items. Thanks Kos Coffee for putting so much passion into every drink.

100000/10 the peanut butter latte and matcha were amazing . I found them to not be very sweet which I liked! I also ordered the acai berry bowl and it was delicious.

The coffee here is really good. The service is fast. It's very clean. The inside is kinda small but they have outdoor seats. The yogurt bowl was very good and aesthetic. The parties looked soooo good.

Ordered a small Kos Latte with soy milk on a Sunday morning. I want to say it looked like a 12 oz cup. It cost $7.25 without tax/tip included. I could taste the pistachio. If you like your matcha sweet, this one is for you. They added sprinkles of pistachio on it as well which was a nice touch. However, I couldn't really taste the matcha as much as I wanted. Kos is right next to the library and also near Petco Park. Paid parking available and one 15 min slot just right next to it if you're lucky. Lovely coffee shop! Interior is beautiful, as well some outdoor seating. They were decked out with cute christmas decor! I got a peanut butter latte which was the perfect level of sweet + had lots of PB - and got to sit down and do some work. There is wifi and outlets!

We stopped by this coffee shop near Petco Park and Gallagher Square while in town for the Holoholo Festival, and it was such a great first stop in San Diego! The service was wonderful , the woman who helped us (I think she might be the owner) was so sweet and really guided us in choosing drinks we'd enjoy. The barista (who I also thinks owns it) was also super friendly and made sure we were happy with everything. The drinks were tasty and unique. I tried the latte with pistachio cream on top and really liked it. My sister ordered the matcha with pistachio cream on top which was delicious (honestly, I wish I had ordered hers!), and my brother-in-law had espresso shots that he said were smooth and flavorful. The shop itself is clean, has a fun vibe, and even some great picture spots inside. Overall, it's a welcoming little spot that I'd recommend if you're in the area.

Cute little smoothie bowl and coffee shop. Tucked away in a little corner by Petco Park . It's nothing to call home about but it was good , quick and decently priced.

surprised I never tried this spot before - it always gives off chill vibes as it never seems too busy but there's always 1 or 2 people inside working on their laptop. the coffee tastes good, I liked enjoying my cup by the window. they have a good variety of drinks and food, the kitchen seemed busy as a lot of people would come in and go and order a food item, so next time I would try something to eat here.

I have been to Kos Cafe twice. The service is great. They are super nice and it doesn't take long to get what you ordered. The first time I got the pre-workout smoothie. This time I got a caramel macchiato and a brownie. The caramel macchiato was so good and was pretty strong. The do have non-dairy alternatives. The brownie a little salty for my taste. I am looking forward to trying the salmon toast and açaí bowl. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The seating is bar seating and tables. It isn't a large place but it's big enough to have multiple groups of people.

Kos Coffee is walking distance from Petco Park on K Street. The have been under way for a little over a month now and are offering some very espresso based beverages and eat, not to mention Turkish coffee. I had an iced coffee with whole milk and touch of cinnamon and a toasted asiago bagel with cream cheese. The iced coffee was good, but needed a little bit more milk. I requested more and they happily agreed to add more. The asiago bagel was of good quality and tasty. I liked that it offered a subtle chew, too. The bagel came heavy on the cream cheese, but delicious not matter. I look forward to trying one of their breakfast bagels. The service was good. I liked that they welcome you when you walk in. This coffee shop us family owned.

This is a small coffee shop located in East Village, right near the Padres stadium. Parking is basically street parking, and there are many spots in the area so keep that in mind. It's probably more of a neighborhood spot for people that work or live nearby. It's a small coffee shop that has different drinks, some pastries, and breakfast items such as Bagels and sandwiches. There is seating both inside and outside, mostly for small groups. I ordered the Pappi latte and the bagel sandwich. The Latte can be served iced or cold, with your choice of milk. It has pistachio cream and crumbles of pistachio on the top. I did enjoy this latte, I had it iced, but I do wish it had a bit more of the pistachio flavor in it as that is one of my favorite flavors, I will order this again and next time ask for just a little more. The Bagel sandwich had egg ham and cheese, and you can choose between a plain Aciago or everything bagel. The egg was cooked just right Kama which I appreciated Period I wish the bagel had been toasted a bit more, I will just make sure next time to request that. The service was very fast, and they were friendly. I believe they must have free wi-fi, as there were several people seated with their laptops set up, who appeared to be working. I'd say it's worth a stop by if you live in the neighborhood.

It's tucked into a cute neighborhood near Logan Heights. We came around 9 a.m., and street parking was easy to find. There was already a line when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly. The baristas were friendly and welcoming, and I thought the prices were really reasonable for San Diego. I ordered the black sesame matcha, and my husband got the Piloncillo. The matcha was creamy, rich, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. One thing to know if you're ordering matcha or a latte--they only offer oat milk, not almond milk. My husband loved his coffee and said the espresso was smooth, flavorful, and let the coffee shine without being overcomplicated. The shop itself is really cool too. There's an art installation inside, an outdoor patio with additional seating, and I noticed quite a few people picking up bags of espresso beans while we were there. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.

Artwork is very beautiful and fits the Barrio Logan scene perfectly. I arrived with nobody inside the business minus the workers, you had maybe 2 people outside enjoying the scenery and their drinks. Not greeted upon entering the business just gave me that stare with not asking if I had any questions. I dont recall his name but he was very skinny, curly hair or wavy and i believe he had braces, but not sure if he was having a bad day but something wasn't all there. I ordered 2 drinks, I forget the other but it had cinnamon on top. The drinks were just hand on the counter without saying which drinks is which, so i asked which one is which. Didn't hear me, so i kinda said again and he pointed them out not in a nice or rude way but the approach of how it was handled was not friendly. How can you have Mazapán without the Mazapán crumbles which are very iconic to the drink. I just found it super strange and did not care for it. The cinnamon based drink was good tho, which I'll give them that. Experience could have been better.

Wait outside on the sidewalk (no exterior seating) and someone will come to take you inside. Do not ring the door bell. The theme is to take it slow. Each customer typically waits 20-30 minutes to enter as part of how they do things, even if there is open seating inside. Not sure if they use a timer to space entries but it seems consistent. They take one group in at a time. Interior: A few tables around the wall and then bar seating. Would not recommend for parties greater than 2, there just isn't the space. They welcome service animals, babies/children and strollers from what I observed. The music was very, very loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation. I did not see a bathroom. Ordering process: After seating you wait for a little bit for them to bring small water cups and a QR menu with a table number and a set of rules. They do not have a physical menu, you must use your phone to order. Cell phone reception was dicey and took a long time to load. They have an interesting concept where you have a digital 'tab' open on their toast website. Unfortunately you must provide your full name, email and phone number. They have pour over drinks (note these can take 15-20 minutes), matcha, Hojicha and others. You may only order one drink per person at a time. They have a small snack menu with rotating foods. They use oat milk only. No substitutions allowed. After mobile ordering, drinks take 20-30 minutes as part of their take it slow vibe. Matcha $8 is from Paru tea and was very good. Hojicha $8 was too milky and didn't have a strong enough flavor. When you are done you walk to the register by the door and wait to be checked out. If they are making a drink you wait until they are finished. I wasn't really a fan. Staff were brusque. Music was too loud to converse.

Five different matcha drinks were offered along with hot and cold coffees and lattes. The top three matcha choices were priced at $8 each. I chose the Ordinary Pleasure which was the first one. Pandan sticky rice milk and mango puree were added to the matcha and topped with a salted coconut foam. I wasn't a fan of the foam, but the matcha flavor was intense and contrasted by the fruity puree on the bottom of the cup. The baristas were very focused with measuring the exact amounts for each ingredient in the drinks they were preparing. The barista mentioned that it is on the sweeter side. When this was mentioned I felt like it would be a good pairing because the Thai coffees that I am used to having are typically on the strong side. I also heard from another customer that the Thai coffee had a slight mocha taste to it which I thought was interesting. I'm indifferent to powdered taro milk teas, although this one in particular, I did not enjoy. It was thick and sludgy, with an undertone of medicine reminding me of pepto bismol. The color was lovely, but not the taste. I wouldn't order this particular drink again. The drink I chose was medium size and it was only $5.38 (or 5.83, I can't remember & I don't think I got a receipt) ish which I can appreciate! The top portion of the drink was the Thai coffee and I really did like the flavor. Next time I'll get a different drink for sure! They also have only a handful of seatings, but it's a nice area to walk around. They have umbrellas as well, but they do need a heavier stand for windy days as I've witnessed it fall into a car several times.
