Pretty good ice cream! I chose the graham cracker flavor with strawberries on top! It was delicious ice cream with great toppings. The waffle cones looked huge; very glad I got a cup. My biggest complaint is the price; it was pretty pricey for what it was, even the waffle cones. The service was quick and easy once the line got moving! I do wish there were more flavors to choose from too

Absolutely delicious matcha ice cream with really yummy marshmallow like thingies with fresh strawberries! I personally don't like ice cream that is overly sweet (crazy I know) and this actually hit the spot of being just an overall delicious taste and not being TOOOOO much of a sweet treat either!!! Love love The staff was very efficient with their service and you could that everyone was thoroughly enjoying their ice cream at their outdoor seating! I look forward to coming here again!

I would choose other ice cream spots over Kow Kow. The bubble-waffle is what makes their product unique to competitors. I did a split scoop of black raspberry/graham ice cream in a choco chip waffle, and that was $9.95... Not really special. I wish I went to The Inside Scoop instead. Not trying to bash the business btw. Everything was fine. It just wasn't special, and for that, I do not have interest in returning.

I came back to Kow Kow for their Graham Canyon ice cream and original waffle. I got the ice cream and waffle separated this time. The Graham Canyon ice cream consists of graham cracker ice cream with graham cracker swirls and sponge candy pieces. DELICIOUS! My friends and I came here on the Saturday of move in weekend for Fall 2024 Brown University returning students. It was packed with students, but we were able to grab a table and chairs. It was a beautiful breezy night and perfect for ice cream. I really enjoy coming back to Kow Kow!

A group of us went to Kow Kow about a year and a half ago on a visit to Providence, RI. I was just thinking about how unique it was. The ice cream cones are huge. The cone is made in house and looks like it has bubbles around it. The mix-ins are delicious. We had one with blackberries, one with Oreo cookies, one with strawberries, and one with chocolate chips. all were extremely fresh and the ice cream is good too. I will certainly visit there again the next time I go to Providence!

A great place for unique ice cream flavors in bubble waffle cones. The mochi topping is a MUST. My favorites are the Mango Sticky Rice special or the Strawberry Matcha. It can get very crowded here, with little sitting room inside.

Delicious ice cream with great seasonal creations! We love going to KowKow for special occasions and celebrating! We always enjoy the location, eating on the patio outside and we started visiting them at their food truck initially. The staff is great with making recommendations! Had to come here after seeing this place all over Yelp! The cone was delicious and the strawberry cheesecake with extra graham is where it's at. The cone was gigantic but I nearly finished the entire thing! You gotta have it! But beware of the crazy lines! We came here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the place was completely packed and the line seemed like it would take an hour but it actually went pretty quickly! So don't let the line deter you from trying this- because it's amazing!

This was my second time here and Kow Kow doesn't disappoint. While they may not have dozens of flavors, whatever they do have is sure to hit! I typically go for chocolate based ice cream but this time I tried the Graham Canyon. I love how fresh the strawberries were. Bubble waffle cone is top tier! Ice cream is great quality! Definitely will return when I am in the area.

The ice cream here has a perfectly chosen flavor profile. The ice cream is creamy and delicious. The cones are awesome. Although it was busy, the service was quick and they all were great. The ambience is well a grab and go ice cream shop. They do have outdoor seating but could be limited at times. There are lots of lovely local restaurants to have dinner and stop at Kow Kow for dessert. I enjoyed my experience. It's hard to go wrong with ice cream!

great place; no complaints. dont know if this is a regualr thing but there was a wheel with a bunch of prizes; we were lucky and got a free $30 order! prices aeemed on the expensive side but after the wheel, was reasonable. a few of my friends got a free extra scoop or a few bucks off, but as said before, we got a free order! the ice cream came quick and though it was 10 minutes before closing, they still let us order with a large party of 13. seating is very limited and the line was very long, but orders came quick so no complaints read more

Poor service. I walked in here for the first time & there were three employees behind the counter. None of them made eye contact or really even greeted me. The flavors aren't listed near the ice cream, which is fine but what's not fine is I couldn't even ask a worker which flavor was what without interrupting their on going conversation. Keep in mind, I was the only customer In the shop. So, I stood their awkwardly waiting for someone to help because I had never been there before and wasn't sure how it worked. Went with my boyfriend after wanting to try this ice cream for a while. Not only are the ice creams aesthetically pleasing but they were delicious. We went on a not so busy day so the wait was about 10 minutes, which is reasonable since they make the waffle cones fresh. I'm not sure which I enjoyed more though, the cone, the ice cream, or the insanely fresh and crispy Oreos! We ordered the Oreo flavor to share and it was more than enough for the both of us, considering we had been snacking prior. I would highly recommend others check this place out if they have not yet! read more

Thought it was "ok". The line was crazy (over 40 minutes), but that was expected, as it was a nice day, and fine. The ice cream was a little icy and the waffle cone was just...dry. i had the choco chip, it was pretty tastless aside from the chocolate chips. My daughter had the birthday cake but it was really just a plain waffle with a few sprinkles thrown in, again dry and not very tasty. It's a cute idea, and we tried it, but wouldn't recommend it unless there is no line and you don't mind trying it just for the novelty. dont walk run to this place ! delicious and a perfect cheat meal ! honestly, one can be shared for two people and the price cant be beat ! i also felt like the service was fast, but i did go on a tuesday and i didnt wait at all, but my friends stated the wait is longer on weekends but honestly its worth the wait 10/10 ! also very instagramable lol. taste: the waffle cone was soft and it really compliments the icecream. i personally love the big chunks of oreo. read more

Customer service was subpar unfortunately, my fiancé and I had a bad experience here. We walked our dogs (about a 20-25 minute walk) and arrived at 8:33pm. We were told that the line is cut off at 8:30pm and We wouldn't be able to order. Everything online says 9pm as do the signs on the door. tried to explain to the employee how far we walked the dogs but she was unwilling to budge on it. Really unfortunate, looks like a nice place and the ice cream looks solid, but beware that you won't be able to always get ice cream during their posted hours. read more

Wanted to love it! Wait was terrible, was thinking it was likely because they were newly opened, but upon entering service was just slow. Was okay with this thinking I'd be wowed and unfortunately wasn't. Ice cream was good, but the waffle, which was why we chose to go, was horribly eggy with no flavor. I love kow kow. But I drove half an hour after working a full day to get kow kow for me and my two kids. We were so excited, and planned to arrive 20 minutes before it closed. It was the earliest I could manage. At 8:37 (closes at 9) we finally made it and learned kow kow was arbitrarily cutting off the line early. My kids were so disappointed. Kow kow should notify its customers if it doesn't plan on staying open as advertised. read more

Had one of their items on their limited "birthday menu" and it was so satisfying to have while being out in Providence! Love the combination Strawberry Shortcake crumble with their ice cream to just add this new layer of texture that made the bubble waffle even better. Another star for a pretty consistent look and taste on the bubble waffle itself. An even shade of golden brown that holds the ice cream in perfectly! Sometimes just getting the waffle is fun to eat when I don't feel like eating ice cream. Tip: Make sure to check out their Instagram to see when and where they are. The egg puffs were around average; the consistency was off in that it was a little crumbly. That being said the flavor was surprisingly pretty good. I just wouldn't say it's the most amazing egg puffs I've had. Although it's great that it offers them especially in providence! read more

Real sad inside, people blastingnews videos off their shitty laptop audio, and food was nothing to be excited about for the prices. My "pulled pork" sandwich was hella dry and the bun was so cheap it fell apart but itwas TEN DOLLARSSS. My Mac and cheese just tastes like it was topped with instant ramen broth mix. Got to the truck around 8:19pm on Waterman Street, to wait in line for a good 10 minutes behind 5 people who had already received their orders and weren't making it possible to place an order. Suddenly started down pouring for only 5 minutes as soon as i was able to finally make my way to the counter and be able to place my order, for them to rudely turn me away at that point instead of telling me from the beginning. RUDE customer service clearly by not telling paid and recieved customers to move to the side to take a new order! Never coming here again! Unkind and inconsiderate! read more

It reminded me a little of the dubai chocolate combination, mostly because of the colors. I've been seeing them add more and more drinks to the menu - mostly ones that resemble the waffle flavors. The prices have not changed much and they're still reasonable for the quality and quantity. There is plenty of seating in the lower area of their store. It is off of Thayer street so depending on the day, parking can be tough.

You definitely get more cake than the coffee, but it worked in its favor and tasted much better than the crème brûlée drink. It was nice to try, especially since everything looks so aesthetically pleasing, but it feels more like a place you visit for the vibe rather than a go to coffee run.

Loved my iced tea with some simple sugar. The wife discovered that the base of the knives are magnetic, some stronger than others. That was interesting. If we could change one thing, we would make it just a tad less noisy, but it's a nice atmosphere and we had a great meal. Happy 4th!

The man working was pretty rude, mocked me saying "hi" for no reason, and licked his fingers before opening the bag to put my muffin in. Maybe it was an off day but still isn't really a good excuse to act so strangely to a customer and have bad hygiene practices in the food industry.

The hash was homemade and a perfect balance of potatoes and corned beef. Add fantastic coffee, bloody mary's and great service and you have a spot that I will return to again and again!

We often go there to have our favorite - katsudon and gyudon. She loves these donnuri dishes. I showed her how to make them at home, as they are super simple to make.

My only recommendation is that they add little chalk boards for each of the croissants with what they are as they had to keep telling everyone what each one was. Still a 10/10.

Kow Kow came out to our event, and Vi absolutely exceeded expectations in every way. The bubble waffles were incredible and paired perfectly with her delicious ice cream selections. Everything tasted fresh and high quality, and guests kept going back for more. What really set her apart, though, was the presentation. It wasn't just dessert--it felt like an experience. The setup was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully put together, which made it a standout feature of our event. Vi herself was also wonderful to work with--professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what she does. She made the whole process easy and fun. Bubble wafers for the win! Yay! I'm over the moon so happy that we finally have a spot that serves bubble wafers. These are all over Instagram so I couldn't wait to get my hands on and try it out for myself. The crispiness couples with the creamy ice cream is just a match made in heaven. I don't know how anything compares to this because it is one of a kind. I'm going to say that I wish this was a full blown cafe where you could sit and have a cup of tea, maybe study.
