This is probably one of my favorite sushi places. The staff is always so welcoming and especially to my lil son . The sushi is so fresh and and amazing . They also have all you can eat sushi . While you might be tempted to come here due to the low prices, I can assure you that spending money here will be a grand disappointment. I got the crunch roll and spicy tuna lunch set, but the crunch was barely sprinkled on and the tuna was nowhere to be found! Ordered this a couple of days ago and it was delicious! This is a go to spot if you want good, reliable food that you know is going to taste good every time! The food is delicious but it's the little details that Koya does that makes me want to come back all the time. They sort your food by cold and hot items, which I appreciate because not many places will take this into consideration and it does make a difference. They also were very sweet during this covid time, they offered me a box of masks (a whole box) and a container of individual sanitizer wipes. When I said to give the masks to another family who may need them more than me, the woman running the front insisted I at least take the sanitizers, which is appreciated. Then when I left she told me to stay safe and stay healthy. It's become rare to find a place that will not only make amazing food but also give you fantastic, genuine service, and that's what Koya has done. This is our go to place for all you can eat sushi!! The place is great and there are tvs in the bar area and on the side. What i really like though is the atmosphere and place and what sets it apart was that there are painting murals on the walls done by the staff!! I have never written a review before, but after experiencing this place, I felt the strong need to warn everyone. The food was disappointing. The fish seemed old, and the rice was disproportional. My group did the AYCE sushi, and we waited over an hour for our first round to be completed. The service was terrible. The server seemed to avoid our table even though the restaurant was almost entirely empty (only two other couples). At the end of our first round, the server did not give the ordering sheet back to us and said we could not order anymore because they ran out of rice. Koya sushi is a hidden gem. I was very impressed by their sushi rolls, particularly the pink lady roll which had strawberries in it! I give this resturant 4 stars. I came in for all you can eat dinner with my husband. The service was great. The waitress and manager were both very attentive and friendly. The sushi rolls were perfectly bite size. Everything tasted good and fresh. The only complaint I have is that they want to charge you extra if you leave more than 5 pieces of sushi. The guy actually came and counted the pieces that were left over and said that because it was our first time they would not charge extra but next time it would be a five dollar extra minimum charge. In their defense the waitress did tell us this before hand, I just dont think you can call it all you can eat for $22.95 a person if you end up having to pay more. read more
