I popped in on a Wednesday for happy hour and ordered the King Rolls, wings with fries and two of the sauces on the side because I couldn't decide. Edwin (manager) was working the bar that day and he was fantastic, very friendly, informative about upcoming changes, and was very receptive to my feedback when he asked. The owner even took a break from washing dishes / cooking to ask how the food was ( Jack of all trades, he said he made everything!) The interior is beautiful and they even had some local / minority owned liquor stocked at the bar. The food was amazing as was customer service... I'll definitely be back. They were large and tasted very fresh and delicious. I would have liked a little more of the breading on the outside to provide that extra crunch but I would definitely order them again. Great place to try crab cakes! And they're done perfectly!! Restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated. The food was hot, flavorful, and delicious. We got the 1/2lb crab cake and it was so fresh tasting, I'm pretty sure they caught the crab this morning haha. We started off with the hot honey old bay wings and they were crispy and good. Krab King had decent food, some of it is way over priced but was worth the effort and cost until I encountered their rude Manager. I attempted to place an order five times that would not go through and my Daughter went to the Restaurant to place the order since she was next door in Giant. She discovered that the reason I could not place the order was because I had added tacos to the order and they only sell tacos on Tuesdays. When the order did not go through, I thought it was the payment method so I started switching credit/debit cards. When that did not work, I called on the phone approximately seven times and no one answered the phone. When I arrived at the Restaurant, I inquired about the non-answered phone calls. Well, the rude Manager told me he did not know where the phone was located and became extremely rude when I said that I had been calling and that the least they could do was to answer the phone for customers--he disagreed. I told him that this unfortunately is what happens in Black Owned Businesses and of course, he disagreed. We can do better than this and we do not have to patronize an arrogant non-customer focused business. Not recommended! read more

Went today for their soft opening. I love supporting black businesses and understand kinks needs to be worked out when just opening. I did however expect the food to be on point so that people would provide great reviews and promote the business. I ordered a lemon pepper crab cake sandwich and crab Mac and cheese. After placing my order, I was told my wait would be 15 mins.....it was an hour. The crab cake was tasty. The lemon pepper added a hint of flavor that went well with the lump crab meat. The bun however should have been warmed or toasted. It was to much cold bread for that 5oz crab cake. The fries were not warm but did have good seasoning. The crab Mac and cheese was not good. The Mac and cheese seemed old or as if if had been sitting on a sterno all day. There was a nice amount of crab meat thrown on top but it was lacking cheese. This was not what I expected. My wife and I decided to go here based on the reviews and we also like to support local. We walked in and was never properly greeted, no hello no how are you no nothing we was approached with a ( you want at the bar or a table ) literally that's how we were approached. We were shocked with how she addressed us but we decided to wave it off and sit at the bar. Here's where it got worst. My wife is highly sensitive to tap certain areas tap water so to be safe we filter our own water using various methods. A male staff member told us she couldn't be there with her water, that's no probelm. We asked well if she can't have her water do you sell bottled water ? He said no we only serve water from the tap and put in ice. I then informed him of my wife's sensitivity to drinking tap water and if there was any exception that could be made. Dude took no time to give it another thought and just said no we can't. My problem is if ppl can't bring there own CLEAN water then have options to buy bottled water, it's not ok to just offer tap water in ice and think that's kosher in this day and age. As a business owner myself, you have to be very aware of people with special needs. and have leniency. Customer service is key to be successful and they have lost my business I would never make a recommendation to visit here. It was bad from the beginning, lack of a proper greeting to guess and lack of accommodation to special-needs. read more

I found this place based on yelp reviews and they were not wrong! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everyone there was so friendly and nice. The place is vibing like mad (especially given it's randomly located in a strip mall), so very very cool. But the food is the star of the show. We had the colossal shrimp which was fried to perfection, the salad split between two of us which was fresh and delicious, the krab fries which was SO AMAZING my husband who does not like crab was gobbling it up, the Cajun pasta which was so flavorful I wanted to sop up every bit of that sauce with like a loaf of bread, and the fiesta tacos (only on tuesdays) which were the perfect size for someone who had just eaten her weight in krab fries! It's all real crab (don't let the name fool you). We didn't have room for dessert but the cheesecake at the next table looked fantastic. We stopped here in the middle of a road trip and it's now on my google maps favorite list! I hope we can come here again. Kudos to the chefs! read more

Find someplace else. First, the menu list crab cakes but ONLY with seasoning ... Old Bay, Lemon Salt, or Jerk ... sorry, but as a life long Marylander, I expect crab (think G&M) but not something where you can only taste the spice. Second, the Mac&Cheese isn't as good as Panera's (but better than Arby's). Third, no diet drinks (after 2 Cokes, my request for water was met with yet ANOTHER Coke). Fourth, a 40 minute wait to get my "dine in" order (only 1 person). and Fifth, when I get the bill, there is an AUTOMATIC 20 PERCENT TIP ON THE BILL. While I don't mind paying for service, this was not 20% level, and I'd expect a sign somewhere saying "eat in and you pay a gratuity" (maybe on each table). Won't be back. read more
