When we ask the bartender if he had given us a discount because of happy hour he remarked yes it's on the bill. He said it was 21 and +4. The bill still was $90.50. We did not get a discount for happy hour. Please check your receipts before you agree to pay. When we ask where the discount was, he got very irate and ignored us. Also, the gratuity is already on the receipt the bill I will not be going back to cravings and I do not recommend recommend going. I'll start off be saying my family has hosted events here for years and we have always had a great experience- especially with Louis, one of the managers. However, this last event that we held at Kravings was just okay and the treatment we received from manager David afterwards means we will not be coming back again. We held my son's baptism brunch here, and Louis with the manager in charge that day. When we came in he immediately recognized my family and was incredibly generous with his hosting. My guests enjoyed the food but we had several food items missing, particularly the lox from the brunch menu. This was disappointing because I have a few guests who only eat fish. Not to mention the steak, kabob etc was never brought out. I had 4 guests who came later than expected and they were not given the full service (several dishes not brought out, not offered drinks etc). It was like they wanted us to just leave, even thought our contract allowed us to have the room until 3pm. I worked with David- the other manager- on the contract, and initially he was great to work with. When I emailed him after the even stating we didn't receive several items and that we had a guest who did not eat and should not be charged and wanted a partial refund, he became defensive and rude over email, stating he needed to "clarify" things for me that occurred, even though that had nothing to do with the missing items or being charged for one extra person or having 4 guests not get the full service. There were a few other things that did not go well on this day, but the experience was still good for my guests overall. I am mostly appalled at this level of engagement with David. What used to be a place that held fond memories for my family, and was supposed to be a happy day for my firstborn child is now bitter because of the treatment we received. Great first visit impression. The food was amazing, well prepared and done in a timely manner. The food was priced fairly overall, and the lady who was working the entrance explained the whole process to us before accommodating us on our preference where to sit. The servers were courteous and attentive to our needs. The ambiance was amazing overall for a date night experience or with friends on a night out. Only small issue is the limited parking spaces available around, due to Kravings parking being shared with other shops next to it. We were fortunate to be able to park in front of the venue - there was also a parking structure in the back, but was unable to verify if there was a hourly rate to it. Went with family for my birthday brunch celebration. I've found this restaurant online, read the reviews and decided to patronize this establishment. It was one of the best decisions and experiences I've had! The staff was friendly and welcoming, our server Julian (i believe) was very accommodating and the atmosphere was wonderful. The food was exceptional with a variety of options. Free parking was available and wasn't crowded, mind you our reservation was set at 12pm! I really enjoyed this place. On Mother's Day we originally made reservations for 6;00 pm but we had to change them for 8:00 pm. When arriving , 3 different hostess saw us and didn't acknowledge us . Bad sign already. Some of us wanted to eat à la carte and asked to eat at the Patio. Website indicates you can order à la carte if eating at the patio. Upon arrival they told us that we all needed to eat all you can eat at the price of $79.99. They also said there was a limit maximum time to eat of 90 minutes due to Mother's Day. It took them 15 minutes to bring us water and some appetizers . The beets and beans were canned food. The grilled mushrooms were chewy . The meats that were served at our table were always the scraps from the left overs from the main dining room and were also chewy. By 8:50 pm they told us it was last called and that they will close the kitchen and no more orders will be allowed. Mind you they failed to tell us on the phone that they close the kitchen at 9:00. So why would they take our reservations so late? Also on the bill they add tax before tip. The servers were nice but awful food and expensive . Food quality was awful . If you live in the San Fernando valley and want Brazilian bbq, then this is the place to go to. I'm not a huge meat eater and that's the reason I like this place so much. They also offer seafood and chicken at no additional cost, unlike some other Brazilian steakhouses. Location: it's on a corner in a small shopping area but don't worry, they have ample parking in the side/back lot. Weekends and nights are free parking in the structure. When we usually go, we don't make reservations and are able to get in with very minimal waiting but if your a big sized group then call ahead for sure. The ambiance inside is very lively, dim lighting gives it also a romantic vibe. Weekends they have dancers which is really nice and different. Now for the food. It's all you can eat with a variety of different cuts of beef, pork, lamb, checked and seafood. They also have a variety of sides to choose from. Before Covid you could go to the salad bar, now they bring the salad bar to you. They give you a sheet of paper with all the options and you get to choose what you want. This has to be one of the worst meals I have ever eaten in my life. My family came here tonight due to my mom always getting their marketing emails. Upon entry it took awhile for someone to help us and then to finally get seated. The restaurant was nearly completely empty so we asked for a booth but were told they are all reserved. Mind you when we left only 1 of them was occupied and the rest were still completely empty. Once seated we were presented with the menu and shown how to use the switches in order to request food and/or service. The ONLY reason they even deserve a star is because they frequently brought out the food and came for the service once the light was lit. However every single dish was completely awful. I took a bite of six different meats and two sides and not one impressed me. I left it all on the plate and shockingly enough my family did the same. All of the steaks were overcooked and not seasoned well. The meat tasted so dry and was inedible. Looking around 90% of the very few people that were in the restaurant were just getting drinks at the bar, I don't blame them because the food was underwhelming. We finished within 20 minutes of arrival and the server stated how fast it was. I explained to him how we didn't like any of the food and his response was simply "oh okay." He handed over the bill which already included 18% gratuity. After spending over $250 we truly felt like our money was robbed. But I understand the sales tax. We arrived before 5:30 so no reservation was needed. And were escorted to a requested booth immediately. Our server Julius was friendly and helpful enough; and the carvers reasonably so for the most part. A bit slow showing up with the next selection; like 10-15 minute waits with the green light on. And we're talking with minimum guests at this early hour. This all you can eat dinner begins with the following items automatically placed on your table: Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes (which I don't remember seeing) Curried Cauliflower Grilled Vegetables Basmati Rice Yucca Fries Chimichurri Fried Plantains Cheese Bread These selections turned out to be the best part of the meal, believe it or not. Especially the cauliflower and fried plantains. There's a big amount of sides my favorite is the Brazilian cheese bread. I ate all of the meats which are served table side. My favorite was the top sirloin, the roast which was super tender! and the lamb chops, and the salmon. The red meat was really good especially with the chinchurri? sauce.
