Problem was these were three young indecisive ladies that looked like they had just stepped into Narnia - just mesmerized by the choices. "What does that one have in it? Lets get one of these! It took them ten minutes to choose 6 donuts. I was just in bewildered. This wasn't some game show with impossible to answer questions where you need life lines. You pick a round sugary one or a round sugary one or an apple frittery one. Those are literally all your choices. They may have different food coloring or sprinkles - but lets be real... they all taste the same. Look lady - I though in my head. I didn't say anything as they were teens and probably having what was the highlight of their weekend going out alone. Its not like the lady behind the counter had any way out either. She was trapped. These three young ladies had her constantly engaged. Something told me all of them were special somehow too. And I don't want to do anything mean to special people. One had house shoes on. This is our youth. Right now the look is Crocks or prison slides. In a few years these ladies will be making tough decisions at the jobs they have. I just can't even imagine. This Krispy Kreme shares the parking lot with In N Out . I went there on a weekday around 4ish in the afternoon and there was a line. However, the line moves pretty fast. Once I got to the counter, a friendly cashier greeted me. I ordered a dozen of glazed doughnuts. The doughnuts were still warm and kinda melted in my mouth. I went over to another counter to get some napkins and they were out. I didn't bother to ask them for napkins. They were busy helping other customers. I will be back to try their Kit Kat flavor doughnuts. They looked really delicious. read more

For the 2nd time we came to this location on Saturday afternoon closer to 4-5pm, and for 2nd time 80% of doughnuts were not availble, empty shelves. Whatever was left looked out of shape, bottoms were soggy and taste was horrible, cream filling was runny, strawberry sprinkle had old horrible tasting sprinkles, texture was completely off which seems like it was half baked. I had tried this location in the past, but the experience going in person was completely different. First off, when you request for a hot donut, it's actually fresh and hot. Second you can see how the donuts are made , effectively a mini donut factory which is neat. Finally, the service is friendly and accommodating. When this place first opened, I waited in line. I think I stood there for over an hour just for a donut. Then, when I went in and tasted one of the sample donuts they were handing out... My favorite location. All of the workers are great especially the Manager Vicky. Always a lovely experience here. Lobby is always kept clean. I don't get donuts too often, but the last couple of times I came here to Krispy Kreme Daly City, I have received stale donuts, and there have been extensively long wait times in the drive through and the walk-in, regardless of there being one customer ahead of me, or no customers ahead of me. I have also waited for over 8 minutes during a walk-in visit where I wasn't even acknowledged while waiting. Their POS was down for debit/credit cards and I left with nothing because zi didn't have cash. After that treatment, I was put off but not entirely giving up. Today was a problem because while ordering in the drive-thru the person behind the speaker could not repeat my order correctly. After a long wait behind only one other customer, I pay for my order and receive my donuts. I ordered one Chocolate Iced and one Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled. Both semi stale, and the Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled came like it was supposed to be thrown away - Flat, hard, fingerprints, and smashed. The donuts here were HORRIBLE! I have never been more disappointed in my life. I purchased the Peanuts Christmas donuts for my grandchildren. My babies ran to me in horror. Disclaimer: these are not actually donuts, they are cookies for dogs. They're kinda pricey ($13) and the size is actually a lot smaller than was pictured. My dog enjoyed them though! Man, it's been a while. My history here started at the turn of the century. Yes, THAT long ago. My stop here was supposed to be a meeting place in delivering a gift to a Peninsula friend. I also liked my maple glazed donut, my normal go-to when in a donut shop. Finally, I had the lemon filled donut but almost a week later. Friendly advice: Krispy Kreme donuts are not meant to be eaten later as most of the glaze liquified with the dough being on the drier side. There was a generous portion of lemon filling mostly in the center, likely due to the fluffiness or roundness of their donuts. They have a few tables inside for dine in and some people were eating outside their cars in the parking lot. The assembly line is to the right of the entrance while the drinks counter and cashier are to the left. There was a table for four occupied while we were there, drinking coffee, eating donuts, and sharing conversation.
