    Deliciousness!

This isn't going to be one of my typical in depth reviews, because let's be real, it's just a Krispy Kreme and I don't have a TON to say. What I will say though is I'm totally shocked this place has 2 stars. I've been to this location probably 10 times now over the last few years and have never had one single issue with ordering, customer service, or the doughnut themselves. On occasion you might hit a long drive thru line, but the donuts have always been solid. Always! So with that said, I'm coming here to do my due diligence and give this place a fair rating from my past experiences. Verdict: A perfectly solid location for a good doughnut, with a generally speedy drive thru. Rating: 4

Stopped by on my way to work. Ordering in advance via their website was quick and easy. When I arrived at the drive thru I was greeted by their friendly efficient employees. They had the order ready to go and I picked up a free doughnut for having a COVID-19 vaccine. The order was accurate and the donuts were fresh. The chocolate donuts did not look the best, but they were only $1 for the dozen. Overall positive experience and I would order from here again!

Forgot to get a pic of the donut but it was on this bag ‍

First of all, I love that Krispy Kreme is offering a free donut to covid-vaccinated people every day through the end of 2021. How cool is that if you are a fan of the classic glazed KK donut?! And, every day?! Yes! That has its pros and cons of course. I mean, they are still donuts after all. We've tested KK on this and sure enough, you'll get a free glazed donut when you show your CDC vaccination card. So, don't lose that baby. Anyway, we stopped in around 9:30pm and there were probably 3 employees involved in various clean up activities, and all appeared to be working hard. After showing our vax cards, hubs and I were each granted a free glazed donut. It was still soft though not hot. We opted to save them until morning. That next morning, after just 7 or 8 seconds in the microwave, our glazed halos of fried, sugary, goodness, were hot and worthy of the bright red neon sign flashing "hot and fresh now!" Well, maybe not fresh but I couldn't tell the difference since how bad can a soft, hot, glazed donut be?? So, grab your vax card and get to KK for your free glazed donut and maybe even get a coffee, maple glazed, bear claw, apple fritter, or whatever floats your boat while you're at it. Rock on, KK!

Hot Now sign was on...So stopping was my only option

Clean venue, good flavor (3.5 / 5 star)…read more Venue: bright and modern decor. Small-to medium sized venue on the ground floor of apartment building. (live, play) type of building. Food: small menu which I do not have any problem with. When I go to Thai/lao restaurants, I always order papaya salad - which will tell me everything and what kind of food I can expect. Very simple taste- that doesn't mean bland. It captures sweet, savory and tang. Ordered green curry. Good flavor but almost bland - it can improve on the ingredients. Khao soi noodles again, taste good but missing something - All the dishes tried seems it was missing fish sauce flavor and more, which all dishes didn't seem to reflect traditional deep flavors. The chicken wings were pretty good. Wish the skin was crunchy and had a better batter. The hat yai dry rub was good, salty and sour but kind of reminded me more like tajin. My son really loved it. Service: yin and yang. One older lady who served our table was nice and attentive. The other supporting female staff there was unfriendly, almost seemed mad at the world. Slow service. Price: I don't know why NC charges so much for Asian food in general. I can't say it's outrageously expensive or reasonable price for the genre of this food. All in all, not a bad tasting food. It captured good flavor and has potential. I felt that the dishes are made afraid to show the real flavor traditional Thai flavor. May be good for entry -level food exploring.

I walked in and asked for a…read morecoffee with citrus in it...my husband had remembered a drink he ordered there and asked me for it and that was the best way I knew how to say it. The lady behind the counter (middle-age, petite, long brown ponytail under a hat) scrunched up her nose at me and said..."we have lavender...that's the closest thing we have to citrus." She looked at me like I had two heads, but we went back and looked at old menus and saw it on there. It was an espresso with orange juice. Anyways, I changed the order and asked for a brown sugar cinnamon latte instead and when I asked her what kind of oat milk they had, she just gave me a look and said "the expensive kind." Then I tried to gently explain that I needed to know because my husband is super sensitive to gluten and sometimes oat milk has gluten and she all but rolled her eyes and said "our entire facility is gluten free." I get that...but no need to be snide about it! I was wearing sunglasses because I had been crying about some bad news I had gotten on the way to the shop and her mean attitude made me feel so much worse. There were a couple people in line behind me while she was making my latte and a sweet teenager walked behind the counter and said, "can I help who's next?" And I said "oh actually I wanted to order a cookie as well" and the lady practically yelled "I'LL GET TO YOU." and told the teen to help the other people, even though they weren't ready to order yet and were just standing there when I was ready and knew what I wanted. Then I asked for a lemon cookie and she tried to upsell me something else and I said no thank you. I was also having a tough time standing for long periods of time that day due to chronic illness and her making me wait made it worse....just abysmal customer service. I don't know if I freaked her out by keeping my sunglasses on inside or what but it felt very personal and I'm disappointed. And that lemon cookie was the worst thing I have eaten there by far. Very dry. Do better! EDIT: response to the owner: No, Michele is not always nice. You just missed it. Please see the attached picture for proof of the citrus coffee drink I was referencing. Very disappointed in my experience there and your dismissive response that somehow puts the blame back on my "bad day." Will not be back.
