One of my favorite Krispy Kreme locations, unfortunately the Flatiron location shuttered- which used to be my go to as my school was right nearby! I love that this location is conveniently located near KTown, and you are also right next to a Paris Baguette so your sweet haven is right at your fingertips! I am a loyal lover and enthusiast of Krispy Kreme donuts and have been for a long time. What personally stands out to me is that the donuts are actually fully soaked in glaze, and then stuffed with icing or filling and topped with an icing or coating / sprinkles / toppings. This amplifies the first bite and the entire experience of enjoying a Krispy Kreme. Even the classic glazed donut, is entirely soaked if not crusted in glaze. I absolutely love the explosion of sweetness in your mouth from biting into a donut, and this location always has the new seasonal flavors, as well as a constant rotation of fresh donuts available to purchase. I recently stopped by to pickup the Halloween themed donuts and I was extremely impressed with the quality and freshness of them. The staff here is also friendly and welcoming. The location is small so you can't really sit inside, but I prefer enjoying them at home with a nice hot cup of coffee anyway. I love how friendly the staff is at this location. Service is always quick. I stopped by during the week of the eclipse and they were having these Oreo eclipse themed doughnuts. It was buttercream filling and the top was chocolate with an Oreo. It didn't really taste like chocolate but it was still tasty. My usual go to is a chocolate custard doughnut. On a recent Uber trip, my driver raved about the Krispy Kreme Twix doughnut. She specifically said she was going to clock out of driving so that she could make it home to enjoy it before her boyfriend ate it first! She was very convincing so I decided to give it a try. I'm surprised they ran out so quickly since it was still pretty early. The customer behind me asked when they'll be making more glazed and they said, not for awhile. Guess it's my lucky day! The service was great and all the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The 2 dozen donuts were devoured amongst 5 people in 2 days. I once waited a line wrapping around the block at night when this place first opened. It was one of those business I figured over time wouldn't do so well overtime but boy have I been wrong. This location in my opinion is very well kept and I really like that it's clean. The staff is really nice and friendly, the lines aren't as long as they were before. Great experience at this location. The people were upbeat, friendly and I felt like they just made it a good transaction generally speaking. Justin (cashier) also offered a promo in the future if I filled out a survey which was nice. Today was the last day of their oreo donuts sale so I had to swing by KK and try 'em. Ordered half a dozen and glad I did. The oreo donuts weren't so great as I hoped for. It lacked the actual oreo flavor. The glazed oreo donut just had a creme filling and tasted nearly almost identical to an original glaze. The oreo "cookie over the top" was better because of the cookie on top. Without that, it would have been just a glazed donut for me. Donuts tasted fresh which was great! This KK is a pick up and go type of location. No seating; tight space. The store has a limited capacity of 3 people so please follow their guidelines. Masks are required. If you want rewards, download the app for perks and promos. I've been going to the Times Square location and was happy to see that there's one closer to my job! Came to this location to try the Biscoff donuts. KK donuts are amazing on their own but the Biscoff had me comin' back every week!! Anywho, the guys who work here are so nice! Krispy Kreme is on the comeback trail. First, last week they opened the revamped last remaining NYC outpost at Pen Station. Now this week they open this shop on 6th Ave and they plan two more openings, one in May for a Flagship mega size shop in the heart of Times Square. I came today and got the doughnut holes since I never had them before, which only comes in the original classic glazed version in cups or in a small box of 24 at less than $6 and they tastes just like the big round cousins. Before I knew it I ate the equivalent of almost 3 doughnuts because as you know Krispy Kreme original glaze is what propelled them to national awareness and reprograms your brain to want more. I made it to the grand opening yesterday & I think I even beat the rush. I had images of a line around the block but it wasn't there at 11 something am. Finally got to try the doughnut holes (they didn't have these back in the day & all you had in my hometown were the Munchkins at Dunkin Donuts). They're definitely a treat. I also got a warm reception when I mentioned that I'm from Winston Salem, NC (the place where this company was founded). Some things you should know: it's tiny, you can't sit and they've got merchandise for sale (cups and trucker hats). They do sell half dozens though I didn't see that listing on the menu. I'm hoping I won't regret the full dozen I bought since I've only got a limited stomach capacity and some of them might get stale before I finish. There's no "Hot & Fresh" sign but it IS closed off so perhaps you won't be accosted by beggars like you would be waiting in the line at Penn Station. The staff is learning the system (I had gift cards so it took more time on my order) but everybody was nice and I think I had cred being a Winston Salem native. For NYC, this is definitely an improvement over the Penn Station location. read more

I rarely see Krispy Kreme stores for some reason. I had no idea they have mini-donuts too which were a nice snack. They have all sorts of flavors here and we picked up a dozen donuts. The doughnuts are always fresh and have this lightness to them that Dunkin Donuts don't have. The glazed donut is the classic and you can't go wrong with that one.
