Krispy Kreme makes my day whenever I take that nice warm bite of fresh goodness!...Soooo good!

Horrible management and worse upper management. Fix that and the best company ever ! Otherwise this store won't be along much longer

We went to Krispy Kreme last night at about 9:45 drive thru was up to the street! We patiently waited in the the line for 30 mins before we finally got to the intercom! The vechicle in front of us was at the intercom and was told they were closed! So when we were next my girlfriend had asked if she heard them say they were closed! The person inside said yes and didn't bother to offer us any sort of accommodation for waiting as long as we did! Highly unacceptable......there should have been someone out in the drive thru monitoring the line before they closed and the people sitting there before closing time and waiting should have still been served! Don't care to ever give that place my money AGAIN!!! read more

I ordered donuts for my daughter and family to be delivered by door dash. I live out of state and I have never used anything like this before. The door dash person said they had delivered them but my daughter never got them. I called Krispy Kreme and Joseph (I believe he is an assistant manager) helped me. I ended up having my son-in-law picking the donuts up. Joseph was extremely helpful and gave my son-in-law an extra dozen donuts. I don't understand the big fuzz over this place. I was too lazy to go in so I did drive thru like any other tired adult would. I waited in line about 15 minutes. Two cars ahead of me and 3 behind me, Damn! They were out of a couple Different donuts. We got a dozen. The donuts are smaller than donuts from a regular donut shop. They taste standard, I mean nothing too special about them, other than specific types of donuts that you don't get at a donut shop (cheesecake, strawberry shortcake etc). Not worth the calories on your cheat day, trust me. read more

Positively howling at the review below complaining that they didn't have everything that absolute nightmare of a customer below wanted, just before closing, ON CHRISTMAS EVE. You want donuts for Christmas, maybe plan ahead instead of screeching about 'disdainful' employees. What an absolute witch. Anyway. This place is great. Sometimes they don't have the stuff I want at prime time, or I'll get something that seems like it's been sitting out for awhile, but whatever. It's donuts. The employees are efficient, no complaints; I don't expect minimum wage employees to treat me like I'm royalty, unlike some here. After a long trip from agoura, we got here 45 minutes before closing, and went to walk inside. Inside was closed, no problem the drive thru is still open. Went to the drive through and was told "were out of glazed donuts". Okay, we'll get something else then. Was then told that they're out of all donuts and that they need to save the rest for tomorrow. Update: 5/2. In general I don't come here often. It's just not something that comes to mind, but this morning before work I decided to stop by. Julia was extremely rude and unprofessional. If you can't manage to be pleasant for such a short drive thru transaction then you really shouldn't be allowed to wear the headset and speak to customers. Delicious delicious delicious!!! This is the best glazed doughnut known to man if you haven't had one you need to but beware you won't be able to eat just one. I often find myself eating anywhere between a half dozen and a full dozen on my own. They also have a drive through which makes getting them hot and ready even easier. Did I mention they are fricken delicious. Currently I am on a diet but I think this is going to be my first big cheat day and I can't wait to eat all the Krispy Kreme's my stomach can handle. read more

Terrible! Waited in line for an HOUR. A whole hour. When I pull up to order my donuts they didn't even have ONE of the ones I waited in line for. I waited a while to come to this location since it was always ridiculously packed! I've been to the location in Santa Monica a couple of times and the Oxnard location does not have as much of a variety. The location is sort of small but I do like the fact that you can see the donuts getting made. Everyone knows when the "hot now" light is on, the original glazed are coming out of the fryer. This is when Krispy Kreme donuts are worth eating....they melt away in your mouth. Well I stopped by today because the light was on and even confirmed with the cashier that they were hot, except the donuts I received weren't even warm, they were flat out cold. Gave them 2 stars because the donuts are decent when hot, but it's upsetting they would sell you cold donuts when they advertise them otherwise. read more

My kids and I love the donuts here. They have been consistently fresh, definitely on the sweeter side and seem somewhat "light" as far as donuts go (as in they don't leave me with a feeling of a yeast ball in my stomach after I eat them). Hands down they are much tastier than the Dunkin Donuts that we've tried more local to us in Westlake Village. I also love the look and feel of this place, with the open feeling and donut making equipment in full view. Just a neat place to walk into IMO. I was surprised to see an aggregate 3 star review for this place so I started skimming thru bad reviews. I went to college in the land of KK, and even though I was originally from the Northern South, (the land of Dunkin'), I don't eat them often, eating them in the land of KK taught me how a doughnut is supposed to be. ;) This particular KK is pretty good, but the filled doughnuts lack most of their mojo. I tried a raspberry jelly, a lemon, and a custard. They were each barely kissed with filling inside. Yeah I know it's a small point, and no, you wouldn't want them to be so full they gush and dribble, but filled enough to know what's in there from the outside and to get in a couple bites. These were so skimpy, you could eat 4 bites of just bread. The points went to the glazed chocolate cake doughnut. These are my hubby's fav, and they are hard to find out West. These were perfectly spot on and saved the stars on this review for a respectable rating. Thanks for that! The place was totally empty when I went in and that was a surprise. The lines are usually long...maybe everyone hits the drive through here? The staff was OK, but not over the top stellar. The lady asked me if I wanted a dozen instead of the half I ordered and when I told her no, she looked at me like I was a nut and helped me anyhow. I also had to wait awhile for change from the back, I guess a $20 bill is a big one for the slow afternoon... I'll probably not make the trip all the way back up to this location just because the product seemed a little meh. If you're headed over because you've yet to try KK, just keep in mind that this may not be the most stellar example of the brand. I think some of the local shops are more worth the drive! read more

I have been to many very busy Krispy Kreme's and every time the Hot Light sign is on they are always offering free samples.... this location all four times I have gone since they have open not only don't offer the free hot donuts they have horrible customer service... we were ignored and when it was our turn the three people standing behind the donut countertop were chatting with each other. One there friends came in and he was given a free hot donut in front of a long line of customers... it was quiet rude. Although they are still not offering free donuts with the hot sign. The quality of the donuts have improved since my last review. They are figuring out how to keep them more fresh which was one of my major complaints. I do hope if they don't do the free donut with hot sign at least the attitude of the employees improve. read more

I am such a fan of Krispy Kreme. However I am disappointed with my most recent visit. It actually pains me to type this review, because I personally believe that on the Seventh Day the Lord himself sat down with a box of originals and proclaimed them Good. Unfortunately the staff at this newly opened establishment seems to have a case of the I Don't Cares and I Don't Knows. Employee / cashier was surprised that they actually served hot tea. Even after we pointed it out to him on the menu. And no Pumpkin Anything doughnuts this close to Halloween ? REALLY ? Everywhere has everything pumpkin this time of year. Glad we did not have to wait in a huge line like most have. OVERPRICED and OVER RATED. Super duper duper sweet and a sticky film is left on the roof of your mouth. No flavor in most (unless you get the strawberry one which is TOO sweet too) just tons of sugar. There are local places to Ventura/Oxnard that are much much better. Definitely bummed to have received poor customer service and stale donuts along with water down coffee. Directly went to our Thompson Donuts afterwards and threw out the Krispy Kreme. Mom and Pop shops never disappoint! The only thing valuable to this Oxnard location was the drive thru but there are two way BETTER Donut shops less than a mile away. Go there, trust me. read more

I am so glad that there is a Krispy Kreme location in the central coast!! I was so excited to hear that a location was opening in Oxnard, very close to my community so I had to swing by for the grand opening to give it a try. The line took 1.5 hours to get to the front. While our dozen original glazed donuts were warm and yummy, my pumpkin spice latte was FREEZING! It literally was as cold as my husband's iced coffee. I was disappointed but feel like it was due to the high volume of customers. Nevertheless, I came back a few nights later and the experience nice was DONUTLICIOUS! read more

Ordered early for donuts which were specially decorated for spring via their app. The transaction went thru so I was expecting to pick up the donuts at a certain time . So i go to the store to pick it up and lo and behold the lady said they ran out and sent a message they are refunding the amount 30 minutes ago. For reals? I don't check my emails that early, they do have my cell number, they should have called or texted, saved me the trip and gas. The lady did offer glazed donuts for the inconvenience that's why I gave them 2 stars, which BTW I declined, why get something you can get anytime of the day. Um, yeah no. Two times we have tried going there. Like someone else said, the employees don't know and don't care. I'm thinking that this franchise was opened by someone who knows nothing about food or food service. Just thinking the name equals a goldmine. Other Krispy Kreme locations are much much better than this one. Both times they have trashed our coffee drinks with unimaginable amounts of extra sugar. Literally could not drink them either time. The donuts taste worse than grocery store donuts. Too sweet, stale and flavorless. And to pay top dollar for undrinkable coffee and gross donuts? $15 for two coffee drinks and four donuts. Much happier going to the mom and pop donut shops and getting good coffee elsewhere. Would rather drive up to Santa Barbara for Dunkin Donuts. Huge disappointment. Got up early to get Holiday donuts for my grandkids, waited in drive thru since store is not opened for walk-ins. After waiting in line for 15 minutes I got to order and the girl said "we don't have any holiday donuts at all." This is the second time I've been disappointed at this store. read more

It's 8pm on a Friday and they put up a closed sign saying they ran out of doughnuts. Even though they clearly have doughnuts that we can see through the window.
