The production area was quite messy with paper bits and hardened glaze on the floor. I'd like them to keep it cleaner. The donuts tasted good. I think they are bit chewy in texture. The glaze is normally sweet. It was an okay donut. I'm writing this review 1 hour after I ate my donut and I feel a little sick. I feel nauseous, and that was not my prior condition to eating the Krispy Kreme glazed donut. This place has too much hype. I don't think it's worth it. The Hot and Ready sign was calling and we answered!! It was such a neat experience. The moment we walked in, Justin (one of the awesome employees), handed each one of our kiddos hats and walked us all over to the machine. He then proceeded to explain how the donuts were made and filled up a tray full of donuts for each of us to sample. We then ordered a dozen of yummy hot glazed donuts to further enjoy the delicious yumminess. So I decided to try the Reese's Butter Cup, Cheesecake, and Strawberry Sprinkle. All very delicious. In my opinion Reese's is the donut you eat with a cup a milk. You have no idea how much it meant to us as we were out with him for one last treat as he passed away peacefully this morning after a long battle with dementia and he absolutely loved every bit of that whipped cream. I ordered through Yelp, they called me right before the order was getting picked up to let me know they couldn't fill the order. I was told it would take two to three hours until they could fill it. It was too late, I was already at the Monterey and 10 freeway exit (you'd have to live here to know). I told the woman on the phone that I'd be in to pay for it again since I was right here and be back in two hours to pick up. I waited behind a man being rung up, when he left I inquired to the guy behind the register. When I went in they had about 8 more donuts of the specific kind I asked for, I asked the guy about it and they told me they have a special way they color coordinate. (Conversation hearts, buying for my students. I requested to rebuy then and to come back later, the guy said "I'm sorry miss I have to help the lady who was in line before you". I didn't even see her. I said that, and the woman said "yeah I was here" and I felt really awkward and was running late to an appointment as it was - so I left. Most of the time the donuts are not soft like they use to be. I have to put them in the microwave for a bit. Last Sunday I bought a cinnamon roll it was not fresh at all. Had a little of a bad experience because I wanted to pay through the mobile app to get some points so I gave the cashier my phone scanner and she didn't know what to use it for so she charged me in my credit card instead even though that was not what I wanted, of course I got the refund and maybe it was just my fault because I didn't specify so can't blame them for that. read more

I've never met a donut that I don't LOVE and Krispy Kreme never disappoints - especially when the "Hot Light" is illuminated!!! At this particular location tho, there is an employee that stands out as a true STAR - her name is Lynn! Every customer is greeted with a HUGE SMILE and a warm welcome. I often come in with my service dog "Biggie", and Lynn, being a true animal lover - always offers Biggie a free cup of whip creame as a little treat, which is such a kind gesture! Lynn's effervescent, enthusiastic energy is both refreshing and contagious - She is NOT just another burned out employee. She is an excellent face and representation for Krispy Kreme as a brand. Yesterday, I specifically waited in the parking lot so that I could go when the "hot light" hours would start at 5:30pm I entered the drive thru @5:40pm and when I received my dozen of glazed donuts, nothing was "hot". It seemed that they were not prepared for the onslaught of customers on St Patrick's day. The drive-through was backed-up, so I ventured inside and waited in line for 30-minutes. It's easy to be entertained watching the donuts being made. The queue moved very slowly inside, not sure about the drive-through. I found it interesting that the donuts coming off the production line were being placed on trays instead of just placing them in boxes. Anyways, just seemed inefficient. At one point while waiting, a customer walked right in from the parking lot, went up to the donut case to browse and was able to make her selection and avoid the line completely. I didn't say anything to her; it was St Paddy's Day and obviously her lucky day! The green donuts were more dense than a normal KK donut and were not as good; they seemed under cooked. If I were to do it again, I would place an online order as they seemed to be focusing on fulfilling those orders first.
