I don't get the hype. First of all, these are REALLY sweet, pure refined sugar sweet, and that is all I taste. A normal doughnut - you taste the dough, the glaze or topping, and you get the sensation. These are just really light flaky and sugary - refined sugar and nothing beyond. Taste-wise, I prefer any regular doughnut shop. Second, they're small. You end up getting 2 or 3 to equal out to a typical doughnut at a local shop. I'd rather get one good one than a bunch of these overly sweet things. All I taste is refined sugar. Nothing beneath it. The folks are friendly enough I guess, service is average, but there are better doughnuts out there at almost every street corner - and they are les expensive than Krispy Kreme. I guess everyone is infactuated with the brand, but there's no substance to it. Meh, I've had better and will not be supporting the big corporate guys. I'll stick to the local doughnut shops and better quality. read more

It was 3pm in the afternoon, I was aimlessly scrolling down my friends' facebook status, when all of a sudden my mouse stopped...my body trembled..my heart was pacing...my eyes widened.. a friend just checked in at Krespie Kreme Donuts in Roseville.... Then I thought to myself, Holycow geebus labee! They have a krespie Kreme Donuts in Roseville?!!!!! I must go now...well not really..maybe I exaggerated a little...but I was super duper excited that a Krespie Kreme Donuts was within my driving distance. However I was disappointed in the place. It is not the same Krespie Kreme Donuts that I had loved so much as a teenager. Sure, the conveyor belt is still there, premature teenage staff with pimples still serving the donuts, but the donuts are not as hot and fresh as i remember. I love Krispy Kreme, but tonight was not a good experience, I came at 12:30 at night because there drive thru is 24 hours. Well I pull up to the little electronic kiosk where you order, and I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to serve me, well 20 minutes pass and I decide to pull up to the window, and they tell me they are closed. And I asked isn't your drive thru 24 hours and they told me no, and it wasn't a oh I'm sorry we're not, it was a no, a plain no and that was it, not very good customer service. So I went online and checked and it says drive they is open 24 hours. So that's false advertising, I just don't understand why if the hours of the store and drive thru are going to change the website is not changed. Very confused and disappointed?!?!?!?!? Not only does this KK have DELISH donuts, but the service is fantastic as well. Why, do you ask? Well it just so happens that my friend and I were going through the drive thru and we ordered our usuals (maple ring, a creme filled, and a chocolate cake). We pull up to the window to pay and collect our goodies, and the woman at the window told us that their systems were down and that they couldn't collect cash or credit at the moment. Disappointed, we thought that we wouldn't be getting our donuts. But NO! She gave them to us for FREE! Wow! Pleased, we collected our box and pulled out of the drive thru to park and feast. However, upon opening the box, we realized that they had given my friend a chocolate glazed donut instead of a chocolate cake donut. We decided to drive back through the drive thru to ask if this could be fixed. The woman gave us a bag with the correct donut, and even threw in some extras. Once again, FOR FREE! WOW! Oh I love Krispy Kreme donuts! Yum! On average, I am normally very satisfied with my visits here! This location makes all of their donuts here. Customers are able to actually watch the donuts be made! It's pretty neat. The donuts are always very tasty! I like their seasonal donuts. But you can never go wrong with just plain glazed donuts. The prices are a little high. 9 bucks for a dozen of donuts. Honestly, to me a dozen of donuts should cost around 5-6 bucks. But still, you pay for what you get here. The only reason why my review is not 5 stars, is because often times when I come here, they do not have the donuts that I want. They sell out. I'm not a big doughnut fan but I decided to try it out since I hear so much about their warm fresh doughnuts. I'm a little biased bc I'm a Dunkin Doughnuts fan so I won't be too critical. The warm doughnuts are legit, like everyone says, absolutely melt in your mouth, but they aren't my choice. I'm more of a cake doughnut fan I guess. Watching the doughnuts get made is a cool process. A little overpriced but not bad I guess. They didn't overwhelm me enough to want to go back. I usually don't write bad reviews on any restaurant/ food service. The people working here are always sweet but today was a bit different. I ordered 4 donuts at the drive thru which I used for the first time. Went to the window and received the bag. I looked in there and there were only 2. I nicely asked if we were waiting on the other ones. The woman at the window asks which one i was missing and i told her which one. She just gives me a blank stare and walks away before i tell her the fourth donut im missing. And then when she comes back, i remind her of the fourth one missing and once again no response. No apology either when i receive it. And maybe it wasn't necessary? but goddamn, even someone new at customer service knows to at least apologize or say have a nice night. I said thank you, without sarcasm, and even then absolutely no response. I'm a hostess and I treat even the most difficult and extremely rude customers, in a nice way. And once again, it's whatever right? Its just donuts. But a little bit of good customer service goes a long way. You probably don't want to be there, but it is not the customer's fault that you are. read more

LOOK AT OTHER REVIEWS TOO. IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO IS NOT RECEIVING THEIR ENTIRE ORDER. Obviously Krispy Kreme tastes good, but this is in reference to the customer service. I went in one morning in August to get my daughters donuts because they love Krispy Kreme (I honestly would've liked to go somewhere nearby and to a place that sells more than just donuts, but went out of the way to go here for my daughters). I order in the drive through and when I get home, we see that a donut is missing. Disappointed, my daughters have to share one. I try calling the store multiple times the same day and the following few days to let them know what happened and mainly to get a rain check. Nobody answered the phone ever. Why do they even have a phone? Anyway, I email corporate hoping for a coupon. I get a generic email and nobody has responded on that end either. Come October, my daughter wants Krispy Kreme for her birthday. I get to the drive through and explain the whole situation. The girl tells me "no" to my owed donut. I'm clearly not someone trying to cheat them out of a $1 donut. It's really principal at this point. Of course I order donuts for my daughter; so naturally, I'm going to check my order before I leave the window. The girls give me a dirty look and rolls her eyes. All around just very poor customer service. I hate this location. Just check your orders before you leave drive thru everyone. I am so glad they are back. Few people can resist deep-fried, sugar-coated dough and I am definitely not one of them. I have yet to convince my husband that it IS possible to leave the store with less than 2 dozen. (one original, one custom assorted) The specialty donuts range from meh to gross in my opinion, but the original glazed is a gift from the gods. I had two finicky girls who took their time to order, as well as me who was bringing a gift of a dozen to friends, and the cashier was not only patient, she was friendly and enthusiastic (but not overly enthusiastic) as well. This while being late at night. Food: Still rounding up, but I have never liked these donuts. I don't understand what all the hub bub is. The donuts taste like you are biting stale bread that is deceptively filled wiith air, all while covered with a glaze. Again, giving it a three star because the service is good, and it is all a manner of personal taste. I have friends who swear by these as Cthulhu's gift to Donuts, but I don't get it. This location (on Fairview in Roseville) DOES NOT accept corporate Krispy Kreme promotions​. You get to the store, order, and learn at the register that they don't accept a promotion advertised​ by Krispy Kreme. If you are lucky, there will be a sign on the door saying they are not accepting a certain coupon or promotion. At least you save the time and don't enter the store or you know ahead of the time what your order will cost and are not surprised​ at the register. They often sell out of many options. With such a central location​, they should be ready for high demand. read more

Went to this location a few weeks ago and noticed that it has really gone downhill. There were 4 or 5 cars in the drive thru, we ordered an apple fritter and a glazed donut. Went home to find no apple fritter, instead it was some kind of small cinnamon roll. We even asked prior to ordering, do you have apple fritters? They said yes. I've never actually been inside a Krispy Kreme before, but I decided to check this place out. I took the kids and we watched the donuts being made, which kept them entertained for a brief moment. My daughter had the sprinkled donut and I tried the pumpkin cheesecake filled donut. The young lady who helped us was very friendly and offered my daughter a hat (which she enjoyed wearing). The donuts were pretty good, but I've had better. Overall I like this place because it's clean, they're friendly, there's free wifi, and I won a free donut for answering the question of the day. read more

I love this Krispy Kreme's! (Besides the fact that it's the only one in the area.) Every time I go there, the staff members are very nice, and the donuts never disappoints. The area is very clean regardless of how many or how little people are there. I got out of middle school early, as it was a minimum day. Me and my friend almost always bike to school and home, but we thought that we had the time and money to buy ourselves some lunch. After eating at In 'n out, i decided to use what money I had left to buy my sister a doughnut. I bought a Cake Batter Kreme Filled doughnut, but was abought 0.25 cents off. I told the cashier i was sorry for wasting her time; but in a pure act of kindness, the cashier told me, "Its fine." and handed both my money, and the doughnut. I asked if she was sure, but she said it was fine. I was glowing with pure joy. I thanked her a billion times and walked out a very happy customer. im sad to have not gotten her name, but she had a long dark brown (maybe black) ponytail and had black glasses.
