Krispy Kreme caught my eye as I was coming back from the gas station. This one makes the doughnuts in house!! I ordered 7 doughnuts, the Lady behind the counter said it would be cheaper just to get a dozen so I said why not, lol!! The inside is nice and clean, the servers are really friendly and the doughnuts were fresh and tasty. What more can I ask for except a doughnut that just came out of da machine. Went here for the first time in forever, craving donuts. We used the AI ordering system in the drive-thru, which was not great (it removed & added things from/to our order because it misinterpreted what we were saying, and took much longer than it should have to get basic questions answered, for the same reason -- all leading to a frustrating ordering experience). Then, we arrive at the window & the elderly woman cashier asked if we'd ordered "X", which wasn't our order. So, she then proceeded to ask for our order (though we had just finished ordering using the AI). When I asked why we needed to order again, she replied, "Oh, that doesn't work [the AI ordering]", though our order was correct on the screen when we finished...and, she also said, "It mixes up online orders & drive thru orders". It sounded more like she didn't know how to tell which orders were which, so instead just decided to have us order again for her convenience (which was annoying, after using the unimpressive AI ordering), rather than fixing the underlying problem which was either her lack of understanding of their ordering system or an overall problem with their AI ordering system. The solution shouldn't be to aggravate customers by making them order twice due to a broken system or lack of training. The donuts were fantastic, as always The AI & customer service were terrible. read more

Well I'm bummed. "We don't have any of those right now". I was at the drive through a little after six. There is a large sign with tips on how to use the automated ordering ordering system. I sat there for a bit and after trying to talk to a pole with placing my order. Nothing happened. I figured it's out of order. I pulled up to the window and no one is there. I waited. Then I opened the window and said Hello a few times. I honked twice. I closed the window. A person came to the window and opened it. I said I'd like two dozen of the Oringinal glazed. Her response "we don't have any of those right now". When I asked when they would have them she went away and came back to say "...over an hour". I said thank you and left the drive through area heading home at 6:13 am. Note: the sign on the window and the internet both say the store AND the drive through open at 6am. If you are a doughnut shop whose signature doughnut is not available by opening you are doing something wrong. That is your business. You sell doughnuts. I cannot fathom how livid I would be if I were the owner of this franchise. I just received several coupons in the mail to purchase a dozen doughnuts from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. They are not prepared. This is unacceptable and should be remedied immediately by management, or their staff should be reprimanded AND they definately need more than one person per shift. I would think that mornings would be the busiest of times. How can they be so unprepared? Things that make me go hmmmmmm. Ugh P.S. They could also offer a feee doughnut for my trouble. Or a coupon for one in my next visit. Or even say something to the effect of "we have many other doughnuts to select may I bing you any of those?" But I got nothing of the sort. This place is epic- the staff is epic. The donuts are epic. They support the community and in the midst of an pandemic they have decided to give graduates a dozen donuts. This gift of kindness in a time when they are probably battling through the pandemic says all I need to know about them. I have always loved me a Krispy Kreme and can write a soliloquy about the experience of a piping hot donut on a cold rainy day and how that lifts anyone's spirits- but that's table stakes for them. They instead go the extra mile to make the world a little better in a time when frankly we need the kindness. For the haters out there, come at me bro- this will be the first review everyone sees for a while. And I will ask you, what other establishment gives donuts or anything for that matter to those who get vaccinated, front line essential workers, grads, and the list goes on and on. Krispy Kreme is a favorite of many so it has steady business from families, to go orders, people coming in & out to get a snack etc. This location is relatively clean and has an area to eat in should you wish to. The bathroom was not adequately stocked with supplies which isn't good for guests or employees with sticky hands. Ordered a specialty dozen donuts for pick up in the afternoon. The order was ready on time. My doughnuts looked absolutely fab decorated and the pick up was easy. The doughnuts were good however did not taste as fresh as usual. Perhaps that is because they made them early and they sat. When I was there they were making a ton of traditional glazed and they were visible on the conveyer belt. Those looked so fresh, warm and yummy. Unless you specifically want a promoted item get there either early in the morning or 3 or so in the afternoon for the newest product. I'm normally not into chain restaurants, but Krispy Kreme is one of those guilty pleasure foods that I will just always inexplicably crave. I've been coming to this location forever. When they opened the first time around, my mom brought my little sister and me to wait in line for fresh hot glazed donuts. She had experienced Krispy Kreme while visiting out East, and was excited to show it to us. When I was pregnant, I worked very close by, and used to stop in all the time. While I can't deny that the hot glazed donuts are an experience worth waiting in line for at least once, my personal favorite are the chocolate iced custard filled and creme filled donuts. My usual order is one chocolate iced creme filled and one chocolate iced custard filled donut, and my daughter usually orders the donut holes. Recently, I also tried a cake batter donut. It was okay, but I thought that the cake batter icing tasted very processed. I would not try that particular donut again. Every time I visit I'm immediately greeted with a smile, the dining area is clean and the smell of fresh glazed donuts starts making my mouth water. I come often to pick up donuts for my accounts and today, Sunday the 7th, I wanted to get the special of $9.99 for a dozen as this was the last day. What made this trip special is how team member Myriana Host 27 (I'm hoping this is the correct team member) handled the rush of customers, the POS didnt take the coupon (see pic) the manager was assisting another guest and when Myriana went to ask for support the manager stated "it will be a while". Myrianas customer service skills definitely showed as she maintained a smile AAAAAND recommended the Creamsicle Chiller after I was asking questions about the drink and OOOMMGGEE! Great recommendation too! Back to Myriana. I was patiently waiting for the manager to assist Myriana; the line didn't shorten so to avoid an unruly crowed of mouth watering sugar craving guests Myriana handled the opportunity like a business owner and resolved the POS coupon glitch. I definitely will be coming back to this location for business and personal due to the whole teams service. They were watching the donuts being made, picking a hot fresh donuts to eat inside with some milk they loved it.!! sadly, the last few times I have gone to the drive-through they have ran out of a lot of donuts!! yesterday when in the drive-through, we were excited I wanted my favorite which is the maple flavor and we also seen they had three Reeses candy donuts!! Absolutely terrible service from a young teen with short dark brunette hair tonight around 7:40 PM. My friend and I just went through the drive-thru, and we asked if the original glazed were hot and she replied that they were coming out hot right now. As we get up to the drive thru window she handed us the donut box and they are cold, puckered, and rock-hard. I asked politely could we please get the hot ones that you said you had?" ..she said that's "how hot you are going to get" with major attitude.. Upset my friend and I decide to go into the store and what do you know.. the donuts are coming out on the hot conveyor belt. We speak to a young boy who decided to apologize on her behalf, and gave us the correct hot donuts. So upsetting that this girl had major attitude. I have visited this location several times since my last review. A few times through the drive thru and a few walk ins. I don't know what the drive thru is like early morning, but if I use it, it's after school with my daughter. It's dead.. perfect to get through fast..(which is the purpose of the drive thru, lol) The only negative is that you don't know what donuts they'll be out of. That can feel frustrating, but that is what you get going through later in the day. The few times I have gone inside were alright. Customer service is still the same. No one seems happy to help. Krispy Kreme seems like such a happy place to go! The inside is so neat to look at when the donuts are being cooked with the conveyer belt going. I saw an ad for a "Key Lime" donut and knew I had to have one ASAP. We happened to be in Roseville for the day so before heading home we decided to take a slight diversion and grab some donuts. When we arrived they had a bit of a line but moved through everyone promptly. I saw the sign for "Key Lime" donuts and got excited but was a tad sad when I saw that they didn't have the frosting and the cute Key Lime on top. I was not swayed from ordering it but surprised at the lack luster presentation. They popped our 6 donuts into a box and we paid and started to leave. We saw that they were beginning to make donuts and decided to stay and watch the donuts be made. Then, for good measure, we decided to snap a picture if our open donut box in front of the Krispy Kreme sign inside. When I opened the box I surprisingly found a decorated Key Lime donut instead of the plain one presented in the case. Nice switch Krispy Kreme. Now, for the taste. I am not someone who chooses donuts typically. I like pastries but donuts have never been top on my list. When I do want a donut however, Krispy Kreme is pretty high up on the list of my choices. The Key Lime was by far my favorite. The cream filling was perfectly tart and a great balance for the sugary exterior. I am always impressed with their standard chocolate covered with sprinkles which was my choice for the other two of my three donuts. Had I bit into the Key Lime before we left I would have gone in for more! haha I am quite relieved the closest location to me is several hours away - makes it far less accessible. I like this location, the staff are friendly and nothing beats their original glazed donut coming out of the fryer, I like the look through window they have so you can tell it's done fresh for you! It always taste the best when their still warm! Last night they were out, so I split with my daughter their seasonal Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and it was delicious, a pumpkin spiced girl's dream for this fall season!
