I elected to do with the #1 combo which is 2 donuts and a coffee. Went with the classic glazed donuts and a large iced Carmel coffee. What a great combination! I thought the doughnut dots would be fun and delicious. My children loved the taste but as far as the look I was disappointed. Last night my wife was ordering loud and clear and the employee had trouble understanding 3 different flavors. We repeated the order 4 times. 1 time she even said "hold up hold up hold up real quick" and we only said 2 doughnuts. Ok so first time here. Went through the drive thru a bit after 1am. It says in Yelp that the close at 1 but other websites have them open 24 hours.... A bit confusing. We were asked to wait which took a while but that's okay. My issue is more that they asked us to wait a few minutes to order and then tells us they only take cash. I didn't have cash on me which was unfortunate. Luckily we were able to dig through the car and find a little. Not sure why this location only has 3 stars, but I had a great experience when I came. Before going to Costco, my friend and I decided to go to Krispy Kreme. We heard that if you showed them your covid vaccination card, you can get a free glazed donut. And it worked! The employee just checked to see if we had our card and she hooked us up with the donut. She even asked us if we wanted to wait for fresher donuts because a new batch was just about to be ready. FYI - you're able to redeem this free glazed donut everyday day for the rest of 2021. I always get email notifications of seasonal doughnuts, but most of the time they don't have all the doughnuts that I picked for an assorted dozen. I received an email saying that I could get a free dozen because I had enough reward points, but when I tried to order the free dozen, it wouldn't allow me to on the app. Then it said it had to be an in-person order. That's ridiculous. I visited this location to grab a few donuts. The donuts I received tasted old and the icing looked as if it was melted off, which resembles a donut that has been siting around for a few days. Definitely nothing like a fresh Krispy Kreme that melts in your mouth. I walked back in and told the worker who had helped me. The worker seemed as if they didn't have a care in the world if I was given a bad donut. Very disappointing. I received two replacement donuts that were night and day different. I honestly have no idea how much donuts cost, so I was a little surprised that a dozen original glazed cost $9.99. I mean, they're kinda small-ish and when they're hot off the line you can easily eat 3 or 4 (No? Just me?), so I thought they were going to be like 50 cents each. Clearly, I was living in the 1950's. In any case, they're worth every penny because they're freakin delicious! I also got a dozen assorted for $11.99. I think a dozen specialty was $13.99 Because I bought two dozen donuts, I was offered any coffee drink for 1 penny. Who in their right mind would say no to that?? I got an iced vanilla coffee, but it was ridiculously sweet so I had to give it to my dad after three sips (needed to make sure!). I'm glad a Krispy Kreme opened up close to my parents' house. This location has a large amount of parking, and a drive-thru, so it's really accessible. The staff is very friendly, though not as peppy as places like Starbucks. You either get a ton of great service and a staff member that listens...or someone that really doesn't give a flying f**k, and throws whatever they want in the box and gives you whatever the hell they want to give you for a beverage. The drink order was wrong each time (not only wrong, but just...not palatable and needed to be thrown away.) and the doughnut order was wrong. My wife and I always stop at this location on our drive south from the central coast. Krispy Kreme has one of the best doughnuts I've ever had. Their freshly made, warm original glaze doughnuts are to die for. We always get their during their evening fresh batches that go from 5pm-11pm. A hot doughnut is so much better than a cold doughnut. I could probably eat 4x as many when they are warm. The dough is light and fluffy, they almost melt in your mouth. The prices are good, about $1-2 per doughnut. This location also has good customer service and a drive through as well. Also, a good thing to know that is printed on their doughnut boxes but you might miss is that if you don't have the luxury of a warm doughnut, you can microwave cold ones for 8 seconds for a near warm-fresh doughnut.
