After hearing that there is a 2 hour wait at the Burbank Krispy Kreme (KK) location, I decided to go the other way and drive maybe few more miles to save time. KK has been giving out a dozen of original glazed doughnuts for the healthcare workers with the covid-19 pandemic for the last few weeks. I do go to KK once a month or so for my mom who loves theirs donuts. Me? I can live without it. Maybe one donut is enough for the rest of the year. So after driving 20 something miles, I got to this location and wow, theres barely any wait! I was in and out about in less than 3 minutes. I am not even joking. There was a few cars in the drive-thru but the line was going really fast that I didnt need to wait at all. After showing my badge/license, I was able to receive a dozen of original glazed on the house for my mom. Staff was professional, friendly and kind. They were all smiling and customer service was excellent. I would come to this location any day over Burbank. Burbank is really busy even without this Healthcare Workers Monday since its located in the Empire Plaza with so many other stores including Target, Nordstrom Rack, Walmart, Panda Express, Wendy's and more. Terrible operation management and hope the higher department can see this. My wife and I came there at 9:15pm on Friday National Donut Day and wait in the line in person even though I have Krispy Kreme App, the reason is that we just did full vaccination so we want to double check with the staff and choose the flavors of donuts we want for our kids in person. It's windy and cold at that time, and suddenly a lady(guess she's the manager)came out said that they'll only let the people into the store by 9:45pm, but it was 9:43pm at that moment, they should put a sign or notification outside earlier about the time policy, or send someone to outside kept telling us about this at least 10 or 20 minutes earlier, I believe it will be better and reasonable. Outside and in front of the door there was a couple and then was my wife and I, so we are second group(lots of groups behind us), after 5 minutes (9:48pm), a young staff still opened the door and let the first couple in front of us get into but refused to let my wife and I also other people behind us get in. Another lady customer just behind us argued this to the staffs inside, but seemed staffs didn't do anything for her from my observation. Since we've been there like almost 40 minutes, and we really want to get fresh donuts for our kids especially it's Friday night. We decided to jump into the drive-thru because the staff told us we can purchase it from there before they close. After waiting another 30 minutes later in the car line, around 10:20ish, we get into the drive-thru of Krispy Kreme, but cars moved very and super slowly. Another 20 minutes later, we get to the menu and ordering section but no one speak to us via the speaker. Yes it's CLOSED and no one came out to tell us or at least put a road cone ahead of the drive-thru to save people's time, it's common sense even my kids know it but no one in Krispy Kreme did it. Sadly to say it but from my experience regarding these 2 failures of having donuts, I'm confident to say that they don't care about how their customers' feelings, and apparently the operation management at this branch is terrible. Overall, we arrived there at 9:20pm in person in the line and left from the drive-thru around 11pm didn't get any piece of donut, and our kids were disappointed at that night because they couldn't enjoy their favorite Krispy Kreme. read more

The worker was fucking....rude. I bough 16 mini donuts, when I looked at the box, they didn't give me a row of chocolate. They gave me 2 rows of strawberry donuts. When I told the worker about this she said ' We're out of mini chocolate donuts. But my son told me he saw they just made the mini chocolate donuts in the glass counter. I order through their website for delivery! They usually don't have anyone to deliver via website ordering after 9PM, but you can order through door dash then. (although doordash orders limit the "customizable box" to orders of 3- ex: 3 original, 3 raspberry filled, 3 custard filled, etc) The donuts are yummy every time! I just wish they would update the menu on doordash so I could order my custom boxes. Also they don't have drinks on door dash besides a 96 oz coffee jug, and bottled milk, or bottled juice. This location has a drive through, which I love! And it's much closer and less busy than the rowland heights location or burbank location. I will be back soon!! Considering that it was my wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day. I ordered a box for my husband and I. The appointment time they gave me was 1 o'clock. Not sure why this location only has 3 stars, but I had a great experience when I came. Before going to Costco, my friend and I decided to go to Krispy Kreme. We heard that if you showed them your covid vaccination card, you can get a free glazed donut. And it worked! The employee just checked to see if we had our card and she hooked us up with the donut. She even asked us if we wanted to wait for fresher donuts because a new batch was just about to be ready. FYI - you're able to redeem this free glazed donut everyday day for the rest of 2021.
