While my friends seemed to very much enjoy the pizza, I am a gluten-free, lactose-free consumer. I ordered one of the salads, which cost $18. It was a container of romaine lettuce, huge chunks of tomato, and huge chunks of cucumber with dressing in a container. There was no chicken, which I paid to add, and it was a collection of vegetables, completely unappetizing. Even with everyone wearing a mask you can tell they were smiling behind their mask very welcoming which I love so that was a plus. I had an appointment across the street and I was craving pizza so I pulled out my phone and yelped " best pizza in bay ridge " my phone automatically directed me to the closest pizza shop which happens to be Krispy Pizza . I looked at the reviews and figured heeh let me give it a shot. Everything looked so fresh and delicious I couldn't help myself but to buy a couple of slices and cut them in half so I can share with my family. This place was discovered accidentally due to not finding any other place that was opened this late in the area that still served food. I always loved NY pizza, so it didn't bother me at all. I'm actually glad that many places were closed or else I wouldn't discover this joint. I've tried their salad, buffalo chicken and white pizzas, but my ultimate favorite is their vodka pizza! Once I've tried their pizza I've been spoiled and can never eat another slice of pizza without comparing it to the Vodka slice. The sauce is so good, the crust was thin and crispy plus the added sesame in the dough was just made to perfection! This place is nothing fancy and very local with a really friendly staff. Krispy is both old school and new school. Yes, they have the plastic booths, the spice shakers, and garlic knots. But they also have specialty slices that you typically wouldn't find in this area. I went the safe route and did a slice of plain, a slice of pepperoni, and a Palermo (which was a square slice with onions, plum tomatoes, and mozz). They were all great. Unlike a lot of slice places I've been to recently, they actually left the slices in the oven long enough for things to crisp up. The pepperoni was just a plain slice that they added pepperoni slices to, so it was 50% made to order. The Palermo was probably my favorite. The crust was so fluffy (but still with integrity) and the plum tomatoes gave it a nice sweetness. Those three slices were $8.50. Not a bad deal at all! read more

I combined the recommendation of fellow Yelpers and ordered a half Vodka/ Half Fresh Mozzarella Pie The Vodka slices were everything I imagined them to be. Sweet, heavy, savory and ridiculously filling. First time I was not able to eat more the 2 slices. The thing that really took me for a loop were the Fresh Mozzarella slices. The sauce was so sweet it was hard for me to taste the cheese or dough, and the dough was on the heavier side, compared to most other Mozzarella and basil slices I have had. The slice was hard to fold and was just a bit overwhelming on all fronts, which is acceptable for the vodka slice since its meant to be that way. Got the trio pie and it was good. I've had the pie elsewhere and it could've been better. The dough is a little thicker than what I'd prefer. Calamari was pretty good! I only come here specifically for their garlic knots. Let me tell youuu, it's so soft and everything is just right. Unlike other pizzerias, it's usually hard and the garlic falls off.
