There is a good variety of options on their menu. I am a simple type of girl when it comes to my pizza, CD so I enjoy the cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks. The waitresses are so sweet and remember my drink order whenever I come in (i come in every one or two weeks). The parking is usually full so I park in the back. I find it better to go there than get it delivered, however, delivery is still good. Overall I would say krispy is one of the best pizzerias close to me. read more

Shout out to Gucci who took care of us, especially because everyone else behind the counter didn't seem thrilled by our presence. Anyhow the pizza was good... Not as good as the Brooklyn location but still very good. Vodka slice and Palermo slice tasted slightly different but that didn't stop me from inhaling them. I don't know if it's because they were sitting out whereas I usually order a fresh pie... Maybe that was it. Nevertheless the Bruschetta slice was awesome - definitely doing that and a Palermo slice the next time I go. Some of the best pizza I've had came from here. I'd drive out here just to get it. Their plain cheese or grandma pizza are the way to go. The pizza is never undercooked and the ingredients always taste fresh. It's also very popular with the local little league baseball teams in town because I always see one or two here around dinner time. I highly recommend taking the drive out to eat here. For the area I'm sure this is great pizza but by no means compares to top pizzerias of NYC. But if you're around and craving a decent pie without disappointment I would recommend this place. The only main quarrel I have is the texture of the bottom . And considering I requested an extra well done crispy pizza, I found my crust crispy and bottom of the pie flaccid and no where near well done. Wow. Is all I can say !! My mom said she wanted a Krispy Pizza so I said " Hey let's go to Krispy Pizza!" She agreed and boy am I happy we did !! We were slight confused when we walked in wether or not we just order than sit down or if it was restaurant style were we sat and waited for a waiter. It turned out to be the latter. We were given a menu but ended up still going to the counter to see the options/ custom slices they had available! I went with a bruschetta slice and garlic bread!! The bruschetta pizza was absolutely to die for ! I loved all the flavor in the bruschetta and that they were able to still keep the pizza from getting all soggy !! We then got the garlic bread which was freshly prepared! I would give the garlic bread an A- only because I'm a garlic lover and could go for a little more garlic! But I'm sure if their were any more it would turn the bread into mush so maybe I'll just stay in my lane and leave the garlic bread making to them !!! But all around I had an awesome time I plan on going back ASAP!! I went to Krispy Pizza about a week ago with my family. There were four girls in our party ranging from 8 to 15 years old and they can be picky eaters. Well, I couldn't tell that day. We ate there, at the restaurant, so the pies were fresh and hot! i got a regular plain pizza and a grandma pizza. The regular pizza is as perfect as a pizza can get. Perhaps the reason i love this pizza is because the crust is so thin and crispy, but the pizza is saucy and cheesy as well. They named the restaurant well- Krispy Pizza. Try the grandma pizza my personal fave. It is square like a Sicilian, but crispy-not doughy. Also, it is made with fresh mozzarella and basil. I really love the fresh basil. OK. My family and I have been coming here for a long time. We loved the food and the service. Loved -past tense. times have changed. It is very disorganized when picking up an order ( when they are busy) they have a tracking system for online orders but your order is never ready according to the system when arriving for pickup. the last 2 times ordering a grandma pie it was chewy (doughy) and the crust was extremely hard. The eggplant rollatini was very tasteless and the sauce was like water. OK.... things are much better if you go on a weekday, other than Friday. Monday at 6:00 PM.... no parking issues, walk in, no one blocking the narrow aisle to the register/order desk, order, got it in minutes. Also tried online ordering, twice on Thursday at 6:00 PM (our new family "pizza night") and similar, but still people waiting, blocking access to the register. Won't get out of your way unless you ask politely. Guess it's just the clientele, not Krispy's fault. Definitely some of the best pizza in New Jersey! I found out about this place when some friends introduced me. Now that I know about it, my trips to Old Bridge are not complete unless I get a slice (or pie) from Krispy Pizza. They totally live up to the name, "Krispy" and I love it. My favorites so far have been the Krispy Special (peppers, onions, pepperoni, sausage, olives, and mushrooms) and the Primavera. I've also heard great things about the Vodka pizza, but I have yet to try it because I can never part ways with my usual favorites! The staff at Krispy Pizza is great. Sometimes Yelp is only as good as it's reviewers. Make that a lot of the time. We were looking for pizza/italian food in this area and another place came up with a 4.5 rating and Krispy only had a 4. So, we drove to the other place, which shall remain nameless (for good reason). In a desolate old strip mall it stood, little signage, but 4.5 shouldn't be too bad right, so we soldiered on in. One poor guy behind the counter with phones ringing off the hook, a couple of tables with people eating slices, no acknowledgement that we had walked in, but we grabbed take out menus and sat down. Between the realization that the tables hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile and the look of fear and discomfort in my wife and daughter's eyes, I knew we'd have to make a hasty exit. The counterman looked up, probably realized why we were leaving and on to Krispy we went, keeping our fingers crossed. Only a couple miles away, it sat in a new building, looking inviting and promising. The interior was Brooklyn-themed, a nod to the restaurant's origins, I guess and a waitress came over with menus as soon as we walked in. Ironically, we didn't order pizza, but entrees like fettucini alfredo, eggplant parm (my favorite and a litmus test of every italian restaurant for me.) Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and large portions we couldn't finish that were reasonably priced. The food came out quickly but weren't rushed in any way and service was on point. I'm giving Krispy Pizza 5 stars, though I might've saved a review like that for a more superior restaurant, just to balance out it's quality and value for the area. It wouldn't be fair to review the first place we went to because none of us was brave enough to order food there, but perhaps by rating Krispy higher in some small way we can get it's ratings higher. I am Italian and do not understand the raves about this place. The pizza is below sub par. The gravy taste like ketchup. The entrees are not even worth mentioning. How can you mess up a cheesteak or parm. The anitpasto is a slap in the face to Italian cuisine. I talked to owner about it and he got pissed and threw me and my family out. It is ridiculous that they don't offer free refills on fountain soda as a former employee of Coca-Cola I know that it costs about 15¢ for a 20oz. fountain soda including the cup and top. They charge $1.75 and fill it with ice and then say no to a free refill??? Someone seems a little greedy..... As for their pizza I got a penne vodka slice. The sauce was good - the problem is there was barely any sauce on 90% of the slice I got. Imagine eating a slice of pizza so dry you almost choke on it. But then you can't wash it down with your beverage because it was filled to the top with ice and there are no free refills. This place has lost my business. read more

I consider myself a Pizza connoisseur that's because I'm originally from Brooklyn. I've eaten the best Pizza in the World which I think was Famous Ray's Village Pizza on 11th St. and 6th Ave. in Manhattan, NY. Every pizza I try compares to them. I grew up eating pizza, and the original Krispy Pizza was in Brooklyn just a couple of blocks from my house, I even worked a couple of months for the old man on 13th Avenue making pizza deliveries. At the time I thought they came in a close second from Famous Ray's Village Pizza. I eventfully married, moved to Jersey and had kids. I heard a new pizzeria was opening in my town and I was skeptical not being able to find a decent Pizza in Jersey, so I went to Krispy's WOW I first was amazed to find out that Tony was the owner and I remember when he was a kid helping his Dad in Brooklyn. When I tried the Pizza still a little cynical I was surprised, and yes it was still a great Pizza. Me and my family all enjoy all the varieties of their pizzas and wouldn't go anywhere else.
