The food was delicious and very authentic. I had the shiobutadon and my date had the katsudon. We also ordered a side of gyoza and karaage to share. Everything we had was delicious. The decor is very simple, but has a nice, clean feel and our waiter, who happens to be one of the owners, was very friendly and social without being intrusive. Sooooo yummy. I had the oyakodon, which was excellent. Chicken was perfectly done and it had just the right sweetness. Husband had the katsu curry which he really enjoyed. My kids had the karaage chicken which was a little ginger-y for one of my boys but the other loved it. Spring rolls were light and crispy. Had the steamed gyoza too. Rice was perfect. We left happy and full. Reminds my husband of Japan. Server (who I think was maybe the owner too?) was friendly and attentive. So glad we found this place while passing through town. read more
