    Pepperoni pizza

Walked past this place multiple times and finally decided to check it out, was excited by the promise of two slices and a soda for 5 bucks and was not disappointed in the slightest. I was greeted with two hot slices of pepperoni and cheese, wrapped in tin foil and a cold Sierra Mist. My partner got the same and it came out to a flat 10. We enjoyed one of our slices at the fountain across the street and they were delicious, we couldn't believe the quality at that price. The pizza was still hot after a 45 minute train ride home. Overall I could not recommend this place more. The best bang for your buck I've seen in this city. Go check it out!!!!!

Cafeteria pizza at the best and not even the cafeteria pizza that you secretly liked! Lol. Cool concept- literal definition of hole in the wall. Wouldnt come back again but fun stop for this one time!

The novelty of this place probably exceeds the quality of the pizza as it looks like a hidden knock-on-the-door-speakeasy kind of place, but I don't think they're actually trying to stay a secret. The place is just still working on getting set up inside so they blocked the view of the inside. For $5 you get either two NYC slices or 1 deep dish slice in addition to a canned soda or water. They also throw in a fortune cookie. The nyc slice tastes literally like $1 slices in nyc for better or for worse. I personally like it, but you won't exactly be seeing me recommend this before any other pizza location in the area.

Definition of hole in the wall. $5 special gets you 2 slices and a drink. Hard to beat that

The wood‑paneled coziness,…read morethe dim lighting, the slightly chaotic entryway where a host with a clipboard controls the fate of your evening... it all sets the tone for a meal that's equal parts ritual and indulgence. They push the Mediterranean Bread, and honestly, you should let them. It's enormous, blistered, fragrant, and arrives like a hot air balloon made of carbs. More importantly, it gives you something genuinely delicious to tear into while you wait for the pizza pot pies to emerge from whatever subterranean chamber they're baked in. It's both a starter and a survival tool. A reservation is non‑negotiable unless you enjoy contemplating your own mortality in a weekend crowd. The wait times can stretch so long you could starve to death before your name is called -- and the regulars will nod knowingly as they step around your skeleton. Plan ahead. The salads are comically oversized, the kind of portions that make you wonder if they're meant for a family of four or a single very determined marathon runner. But let's be honest: no one is here for lettuce. We're all here for the pizza pot pie, that molten, bread‑wrapped, cheese‑laden dome of joy that defies every attempt at categorization. It's not deep dish, it's not thin crust -- it's its own thing entirely, and that's the point. This is the place you bring out‑of‑town guests when you want to show them something uniquely Chicago without defaulting to the usual deep‑dish suspects. But it's also the place you come back to on your own, because once you've had that pizza pot pie, it lives rent‑free in your brain until you return.
