This pizza is too die for, it is now my new favorite! Very flavorful, the ricotta and honey drizzle is an amazing touch.

In another episode of my TooGooToGo adventures, we are at Paulie Gee's in Wicker Park. Just steps away from the Damen blue line stop. This counter service pizza spot is doling out the pie all day. There are slices that appeal to all pizza lovers from the carnivore, to the veggie lover, to those looking for something with a little Chicago flare. My TGTG bags each had three pieces of pizza in them. It's a pretty great deal considering I got all it for $5. There is seating along the window which is prime for people watching. There are other tables as well. You order from the cash register and pick up your order at the counter.

Came in here on a whim. We were walking by and a guy was walking with a slice that smelled so good, we felt the urge to try. A pleasant surprise! Soooo good. Came in to grab one to try, ended up inviting our whole crew in to get some, left with 7 or 8 slices consumed between us because we kept wanting more. Guy at the counter was friendly & helpful when we kept coming back for more. Definitely would do it again!

We each tried a different slice and also shared a whole 20" pizza. Garden Party - Spinach, Mushroom, Garlic, Parm White Pie - Garlic, Lemon Juice, Parm, Basil, Black Pepper Vodka Roni - Garlic, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Vodka Sauce, Romano, Basil (20") Big Al Beef - Italian beef & giardiniera The crispiness and chew of the crust was textbook NYC pizza - very good. Everyone liked their slices. My garden party was very flavorful and a good light contrast to the greasy, meaty, spicy Italian beef pizza. Giardiniera wasn't too spicy and didn't terribly overpower the pizza. No issues with service. Decent amount of seating for small to medium size groups. One slice costs $5+ after tax, quite pricey. It was also very hot inside.

They automatically add a 15% service charge and then have a tip screen after that. So they charge 15% for handing you a slice of pizza. Hot garbage. Raise your prices if you need to. That's crap.

Two slices and a can. Almost $15.

Note to self: Stop coming here thinking the pizza's going to get any better. I had a couple slices - The Wicker Baby and Sausage with giardiniera. Too spicy, but I liked the crust. I could do without the N-word rap playing at earsplitting level.

i'll try not to be a pretentious native New Jersey girl with this review honestly i don't have a lot of negative things to say tho! i was really craving a classic slice of NY style pizza since moving to Chicago recently, and I found this place! i got the wicker baby slice and the vodka slice and they were overall pretty good. i'll start off by saying that both of these slices were super garlicky, the flavor was very strong and unexpected and honestly a bit overwhelming. the wicker baby slice was pretty spicy! it had a strong red pepper flake kick to it and the spice was a bit overpowering overall, but it also had an interesting slight sweetness to it to balance it out a bit? it was an interesting slice of pizza and i enjoyed it! the crust was pretty spot on for a NY style pizza slice, which i believe is the most important part of a pizza. the vodka slice i enjoyed less but it was still alright. the crust was a lot thicker and the cheese was also a lot thicker. i actually didn't taste the vodka sauce at all which was kinda disappointing. it wasn't bad but definitely wasn't as good as the wicker baby slice. overall, i thought this place was pretty good and id come back here!

Honestly did not compare to NY pizza at all. The white cheese one was very mid, the pepperoni was okay. Cute spot inside though right near all the shopping.

Great place to grab a quick bite before going out or after a long day at work. Many options to choose from. Wonderful staff and spacious setting.

I've been to the one in Logan so I was excited to try this location out. This location is definitely more of a fast-casual vibe where you order at the counter and grab a seat. We ordered a slice of the cheese and white pizza. The white pizza was incredible and will be my go-to the next time we come back. The cheese was good but I've had better cheese slices elsewhere. The hot pepper was also really good and had a nice kick (actually spicy!) and I liked that it was a local blend. Can't wait to come back again!

Not a fan of Chicano deep dish pizza but this Chicago take on New York style pizza was pretty good. We were a little hesitate at first as you can either order a pizza or order by the slice but the slices are sitting in the window display. They put the pizza back in the oven and it was even better than I would have thought. The service was quick and helpful. Lots of seating as well, I really like the barstool facing the window so you could people watch.

They push the Mediterranean Bread, and honestly, you should let them. It's enormous, blistered, fragrant, and arrives like a hot air balloon made of carbs. More importantly, it gives you something genuinely delicious to tear into while you wait for the pizza pot pies to emerge from whatever subterranean chamber they're baked in. It's both a starter and a survival tool. A reservation is non‑negotiable unless you enjoy contemplating your own mortality in a weekend crowd. The wait times can stretch so long you could starve to death before your name is called -- and the regulars will nod knowingly as they step around your skeleton. Plan ahead. The salads are comically oversized, the kind of portions that make you wonder if they're meant for a family of four or a single very determined marathon runner. But let's be honest: no one is here for lettuce. We're all here for the pizza pot pie, that molten, bread‑wrapped, cheese‑laden dome of joy that defies every attempt at categorization. It's not deep dish, it's not thin crust -- it's its own thing entirely, and that's the point. This is the place you bring out‑of‑town guests when you want to show them something uniquely Chicago without defaulting to the usual deep‑dish suspects. But it's also the place you come back to on your own, because once you've had that pizza pot pie, it lives rent‑free in your brain until you return.
