This place is like heaven. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a friendly smile. The staff are very easygoing, nice, and helpful! The service is quick, especially when it's not busy. The prices are reasonable and the decorations are beautiful! As of today, you can order via their Kung Fu Tea mobile app. You get one stamp for each drink. After 12 stamps, you get a free drink! I was really in the mood for boba and there are so many options, but I decided to try here since I've never been. The employees greeted us and made the order very quickly. I ordered the taro slush with bubbles and it was delicious. It tastes different from taro at other places; it's sweeter and toastier which I really liked. You have the option to change the sweetness level though, and get less sugar if you like that. They also have an app where you can order online and get points. I've always been a fan of king fu tea since trying it for the first time in New Jersey. I'm glad they opened a location here in Jacksonville. I would recommend getting the Oreo milkshake with boba. They have fun takes on boba tea flavors, if you're into tea they have a lot of options like oolong and black tea. Their location is not good. I recently discovered milk tea and this world of boba. So I started looking for a place that was close to me and I came across KungFuTea. Although it was a bit further than I wanted to travel, I decided to take that drive bc the menu had amazing options to choose from. Upon arrival I was greeted by cashier and she was a very polite and inviting. She was very patient while I decided on my order. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea, taro slush and a cookies and cream slush. After I paid, I couldn't stop looking at the menu and decided to also purchase a lychee punch Togo for later. All 4 drinks were absolutely amazing and worth the drive. Prices were reasonable!!! I will be returning and I've already recommended this place to a friend!!! read more

LOVEEEEEEEE this place!!!! Several options of the type of tea you want, you can add Boba to anything you get. You also have the option of getting hot tea instead, which is my personal preference. The drinks are awesome and the staff and great and friendly always. I recommend the Cocunut milk tea hot and the melon tea hot. My kiddos love the cold tea and adding there own things to it. I love this place. Its kind of like a less hipster Starbucks? They have all the flavors you could ever want and they seem to be constantly adding more. They have free wifi so you can plop down and study for hours or hang out with your friends. They have an assortment of games to pass the time as well. The tea is good from what I have tried so far. I always lean towards the matcha and green tea flavors so I have not gotten around to trying them all. read more

Boba heaven!!! I am a huge fan of boba drinks! I've been looking for a spot here in town ever since my usual place closed. Luckily my fellow Yelper bestie pointed me in Kung Fu Tea's direction and I've found a new place! There are a variety of flavors, add-ins and choices available to create whatever combination you decide to adventurously choose. The prices aren't bad either. The staff is friendly and helpful. Came on a weekday at 12pm when they opened. First question I asked was if their boba was ready, she said yes. I can't tell you how happy that made me feel. I hate it when tea shops offer boba but don't have it ready when they open for the day... it just doesn't make sense to me like if you offer sandwiches for lunch... you make sure it's ready to be served as soon as you open and not tell your quest, sorry but it'll take 2 hrs for us to cook the meat. Sorry. I'm ranting.... Anyway, super friendly service and lots of choices to chose from. I got the mango green tea w boba. It was very good and the boba was cooked perfectly. This is probably my favorite place to come and get Boba Tea! The atmosphere is great, they are quick and upbeat and of course the drinks taste amazing. I'm here every few days....so yeah it's good! It can be overwhelming if you are not familiar with the various ingredients and combinations. Don't be afraid to ask the employees for suggestions. They are more than happy to help even when it's busy. For those carb counters out there, you can adjust the sugar levels so don't hesitate to get a cold refreshing tasty drink. I'm not really a fan of this place. The flavors taste somewhat artificial and it's overly sweetened. Although the girl with short hair was very nice, the customer service from the rest of the team was not the greatest. My husband got the honey black tea with boba and I got the rose hip drink with boba. I was not a fan of the rose hip drink at all. I thought it would be more milky with a hint of rose, but it tasted like strawberry yogurt with boba. I just didn't care for it. I went back in to see if they would exchange it for something different - which is very VERY uncommon for me - and was told that unless they made a mistake with the drink, they wouldn't exchange it. If a guest truly doesn't like what they've paid for and is asking to switch for something they know they'll like better, it's a good idea to oblige. Good tea, perfect boba, reasonable prices, customizable drinks. Lots of toppings to choose from. Various drink options such as fruit tea, fruit slushies, yogurt drinks, and more. Kung Fu Tea has finally made its way to Jacksonville! They just opened two days ago on March 10, 2017, so they are still training their staff at the moment. With that said, I thoroughly enjoyed my honey oolong milk tea, and this is probably going to be my new go-to place for boba tea. I know Kung Fu Tea is considered pretty basic in big cities with large Asian communities, but in Jacksonville, it is definitely one of the best places to get your boba fix. There are a bunch of different toppings to choose from including regular boba, nata jelly, red bean, mung bean, popping boba, herbal jelly, oreo, aloe jelly, and fig jelly. You can also adjust the sugar level and ice level of your drink. Heck, you could even get your tea hot if that floats your boat. Another nice thing that separates this place from Who's Tea is they have two different serving sizes to choose from, medium and large. Unfortunately they don't have ice cream tea here. Their boba game is definitely on point. The consistency is perfect with just the right amount of chewiness, and I don't even like boba all that much! The only thing I don't like about this place now is the spacing of their furniture, which makes it feel cramped. Hopefully they will add some board games and more seating in the future to make it more a friendly environment to hang out. They are currently doing a grand opening promotion from 3/11/17 to 3/16/17 where you could buy 1 get 1 free on selected drinks! If you're not sure boba tea is your thing, now it's the perfect time to try it out with a friend. read more

Great tea and perfectly cooked boba with almost as much customizability as a Starbucks. I come here so often that they know me by face. Since it's a relatively new business, one of the times I came in, my order didn't taste right, which was understandable since most of the employees were still training. The manager handled the situation almost immediately and took care of me the next time I came in. Awesome customer service! I highly recommend the Mango Green Tea or the Strawberry Lemon Green Tea. The topping variety is awesome, aside from normal boba, they have everything from red bean, and popping boba to Oreos and my new favorite, Aloe Jelly! The boba itself? Chewy and one of my favorites! I went with a strawberry milk slush because I was trying to stay away from any of the milk or teas that I would drink immediately and I had a long drive back. Well I should have just picked a milk or tea based off the flavor that I actually wanted, as I felt myself settling for the strawberry milk tea slush. It was too tart for my tastebuds. Someone else went with the mango slush and that was much better. But I learned my lesson and will go for something else next time. I thought it was a slight bummer that they had lychee as a tea flavor, but they couldn't make that into a slush flavor. That's new to me, so I'll have to keep that in mind next time I'm here. First off: love this place. I am a bubble tea fanatic and this is my go-to place. It's 15 minutes from my house but I do not mind the drive at all. I call when I'm on the way to place my order ahead of time and it's always ready. Their pineapple slushy with mango popping boba(or grape) and regular popping boba is *chefs kiss*. They can get a little busy but never horribly busy from my experience, which is a plus. The only reason for my 4 star rating instead of 5 is their lack of inventory for the popping bobas. That's another reason for me always calling ahead. Sometimes they have it and sometimes they don't so it can be a little frustrating. I come here because of the deals that come from their app--sign up. If it wasn't for those and the fact that we have limited quality boba selections in JAX, I wouldn't come here. The sweetness of their drinks is hit or miss. I've gotten 50% and it tasted like pure sugar, and other times it tasted like there's no sweetener at all. My tongue, says three stars, but if you read through the other reviews, people love it here. On a higher note, their service is always great, and if you're unsure or intimidated by anything, they'll help you out with a smile on their face. === TL;DR === If you're a connoisseur of boba/tea, hop on over to your go-to place instead. The boba here is spot on! Large boba balls and chewy but not too chewy. I tend to do a rotation of boba places on beach Blvd and kung fu is one of my favourites for Taro. I like that you can control your sweetness level and ice. This time around I got the matcha tea and it was okay. The matcha tasted a little gritty but the boba was on point. read more

This was my first time going in this boba/tea place. One of my colleagues suggested it when we were having a meeting. She said it was the best among the other boba places she has been to here in Jacksonville so I decided to check out the place. I had an amazing experienced just like the mother boba place I've been to. One thing that strikes me was their decorations, it was cute and Instagram worthy. I like that they have many flavors and fruits to choose from. All the staff were very helpful and also suggested their popular drink. Overall, it was legendary. Well, part of the reason was that a friend of mine who was supposed to meet me here had to canceled, so I took advantage of the time to get pics and talk to two excellent baristas, Presliegh and Zach. Presleigh gave me the low down on what Vantage Point was all about, while Zach and I chatted about sports a bit as we men like to do! Well, here's what I really loved! First, I will say that I'm not crazy about Monin syrup and I usually avoid shops that use it. It's just because of my taste buds, not so much any coffee shop's fault. HOWEVER, when I saw the Ghirardelli dark chocolate syrup on the back counter, it was all over! They let me know that they make their lattes with the dark and white chocolate Ghirardelli syrups! I was all in! I picked the Holiday peppermint mocha frap dark chocolate version. Why am I crazy about Ghirardelli syrups? I first had my lattes with it in San Diego and it's stuck with me since -with no regrets! Presleigh made an outstanding Holiday frap for me. I didn't catch her before the drizzle and the sprinkles were added, but it was ok. I drank every bit of it and WILL return on Christmas week to get that Holiday white chocolate either latte or frap depending on the weather. Of note, The shop was clean and well kept on the counters and seating areas. I really liked that people are informed on how to get on the free WiFi right at the register. At least it makes answering the 50 Yelp questions easier to answer when you try to check in on the app! It is a nice convenience. I would say they might consider lowering the music a little. It was on the border of being loud - just for awareness. Other than that, I was a sugared up very happy hombre on this day! Stop by here and visit!
