35+ mins for 4 drinks.... I'm pretty lenient and forgiving in general as I've worked in food service and have been a gm. But this experience was pretty disappointing. IMO Owners/management still needs to be on staff at this location or more training needs to be given on drink preparation and time management. Especially at night when one person goes on break (which unfortunately was the issue here). I know the feeling of the magical Rush the store always seems to get as soon as your partner goes on lunch... but the staff has to be adequately trained and prepared for these situations. Boba demand is definitely not a problem here as maybe 10-15 customers came through In my time here. Sad thing is I wanna say 3 customers were lost due to the wait. Drinks and boba were still good so that's a plus. Except for 1 s'mores slush drink that suffered the consequences of probably sitting on the counter too long for bad preparation management. Waited so long for the renowned Kung Fu Tea to come to Temecula! Super consistent and always friendly, Kung Fu Tea is and has been my go to for that milk tea craving. The boba is made perfectly, chewy and warm when freshly made and they have perfected the recipes - although of course you can alter your sweetness and ice levels. I always appreciate that. Also can't beat the grand opening special on four very yummy drinks. They offered buy one get one free which made for a sweet weekend full of yummy caffeinated or fruity tea drinks. Nice bright atmosphere, free wifi, and super cute music makes every visit fun. Parking works well since service is pretty quick and the line goes fast. Great job pumping out the drinks ya'll! Boba - excellent. Tea - pretty good. Staff taking the order - really friendly. Amount of time it took to get my 1 drink order - definitely needs improvement. Would be more understanding if they were swamped and there was only a couple of people there working. However, there were 5 people behind the counter. 2 if them I couldn't even tell if they worked there but were going in and out from behind the counter...socializing. LOTS of socializing. I'm not saying to not have fun at work but maybe you might want to check to see if the only customer in the store has been waiting for 15 minutes - I would think that would take priority ‍ Willing to give them another shot and hoping this isn't a regular thing. read more

Ordered the Thai Milk Tea. Was informed that their thai tea wasn't the orange color because they don't use artificial coloring. No problem I thought as long as it tastes like Thai tea. With so many of boba spots around us its hard not to be critical. It's a very nice looking spot and it seems like they treat their team well they all look closely. The menu is look very good. I ended up ordering the honey black tea, Fatigue was very herbal but had a good flavor but maybe a bit too sweet for my taste. The wife ordered the black black milk tea and that almost tasted a bit bland. She ended up taking my drink per the usual . The boba was a bit undercooked as well I like boba when it's cooked all the way through and has a. Ice chew but not overcooked to where it gets mushy which I know is very hard to keep consistent. Second time here, here we go: boba is always on the menu for me! Top of my food chain. First time I came. I got the Kung Fu Milk Tea, 10/10. The boba itself is very delicious! The second time, I tried The Oolong Wow Milk Cap and I am very impressed! Milk Cap is basically a foam on top of your but thick thick, when you mix it up, it's basically a milk tea. The boba was just as yummy as the first time they are consistent in their serving! My boyfriend got the oreo slush, with boba, usually his go to drink! If you like Oreo, I recommend that as well! I do not recommend ordering via yelp at this location. Their Grubhub/yelp system does not work well. I sent in an order for pickup via yelp (fulfilled by Grubhub) and they couldn't find the order. I contacted grub hub support and they said my order was confirmed by the restaurant. I walk in, there's no one in line. The young girl at the counter was helpful, tried to look for my online order , showed me their Grubhub iPad is down, and wrote down my order to make. But ordering ahead was supposed to save time, and this took longer than just walking in. While I was waiting for my order, another person walked in with an online order and the same thing happened to her. Pretty disappointing! 40min later I'm still waiting for my order. :( read more

I'm so happy Kung Fu Tea is in town! I usually order the Kung Fu black or green milk tea with boba. I love how they shake the drinks to perfection so it's creamy and delicious. Their almond and taro milk teas are pretty solid too. They have a different taste than other boba shops, which I like. Their boba is nice a chewy too. It's a plus that it's next to the pho place so we just grab some as dessert after eating pho :) the vibes are pretty chill here too. Big space with lots of seating. It is super delish, refreshing and they have lots of different drinks to choose from. I love their wintermelon milk tea with rainbow jelly, the mango smoothie with real mango and the taro smoothie. I love it that I have the choice to alter the sweetness to how I like it. read more

I love Kung Fu boba, no complaints about the drinks themselves because this chain is insanely good! But as a past employee, the service is a hard watch. Since the opening of this location, the owners have struggled to keep employees because they are overworked and mistreated. I went in today and there was one female employee running the entire store with a long line. She took 10 orders, made all the drinks then went into the kitchen, this is unacceptable and sad considering these (majority) students get paid minimum wage. read more

Stopped in for 3 drinks, my kids and I love milk teas and boba. Super cute on the inside, the guy at the counter was nice enough, seemed annoyed. Unfortunately all we got was milk and very little tea. I ordered the Thai Milk Tea, no Thai Tea flavor, just SUPER sweet milk, had to throw it away it was making my stomach hurt. Got my daughter the Green Milk Tea, which wasn't green just looked like milk, no tea flavor either just sweet milk. The third one was Black Milk Tea, which again was just sweet milk flavored. At $5.50+ a drink I doubt I'll be back. Disappointing read more

Honestly not impressed with this place. It's cute, the staff are wonderful, clean, quick, and overall pleasant but the drinks were.. very plastic tasting. Ordered the Thai Milk Tea and it had a very plastic aftertaste much like burnt plastic, also got a Coffee Milk with boba. Half the boba was teeth hurting sweet while the other half was undercooked. The coffee tasted over roasted as well, bitter and very acidic. Understand this is a chain and not the employees fault but definitely would like to see this business do better product management. read more

This is a review I was hoping never to have to give to a tea house that for the first three visits blew me away I was amazed but the 4th visit had me so upset I wanted to leave without the drinks and should have because what I'm left with is a mess of a drink that was handled by multiple employees hands as they decided that after giving me the wrong drink they wanted to reuse the cup to make me the drink I ordered so they tried prying the plastic off then asked random guests to help them pry the plastic off then after I voiced my concernes at the unsanitary handeling of my drink they still used the same cup to make me a new drink I have no words for how disgusted I am I hope the owner sees this and makes some changes I am livid disgusted and outra Update this is now the second time I have had had a horrible experience at this location they really need to get their act together this time they omitted the milk cap in my drink hoping I wouldn't notice never had a problem at any other location just this one I feel robbed I'm owed a refund but good luck with that if they screw up your drink there isn't even an apology read more
