KV Noodle was a pretty nice place to try if you are craving different types of Vietnamese noodles. I ordered the crispy fried noodles, and it was pretty good overall. The texture was nice, and the portion felt satisfying. My friends tried the bún riêu, and it had a very clear crab flavor, which made it taste more authentic and flavorful. The menu has a good variety, so it's a nice spot if everyone wants to try different noodle dishes. Overall, the food was okay to good, and I think it's worth trying if you want a casual Vietnamese noodle spot.

My husband and I came to San Jose looking to have a great food adventure. It's the place to get some of the best Vietnamese food in the Bay Area. My husband chose this place based on Yelp reviews, but sadly we were disappointed. We both really wanted pho, and I will say it's not the best. The broth was pretty bland. I would probably skip this one and find another spot.

Place is very cute! The owners are nice! The pho broth was so rich and yummy! The only issue we had was the noodles were too soft..

We went to KV Noodle while we were in town visiting friends. We wanted to treat them to dinner, and they wanted soup, so Pho felt like a good option. We used to live in the neighborhood, but never managed to make it to KV Noodle. First, they only have a few vegetarian options -- just the stir fry and the fried rice. That said, the staff were very friendly and pointed out the vegetarian options they could make us. We ordered the stir fry with tofu. It was delicious. I didn't have high expectations, but it was great. It was spiced well, the tofu and veggies were nice and smoky (very unique!). I also loved the broken rice it came with. Our carnivore friends loved the soups as well. Would 100% recommend!

We came today for dinner. We ordered 6 pieces of wings, two of the B1 pho with the beef ribs, and one order of the J11 shaken beef with tomato rice. The food was pretty good, we rated it a 4/5 overall. Our favorite item was probably the chicken wings. The main issue we had was all the flies in the restaurant, which made the meal a little off putting.

Found this restaurant when we are looking for a place for lunch. It is vietnamese restaurant which serves chinese/ Vietnamese dishes. They also has open bar. It was not busy when we arrived. The menu has plenty dishes. We ordered combination yellow noodle, half rice and half yellow noodle combination and pho. For drink we ordered salty plum which is plum and soda. The yellow noodle combination is similar to chinese egg noodle dishes. It is a bit sweet for me. The pho is ok.

3.5 stars, nice people, just ok food. The pho and noodles were not impressive, but decent enough to try this place.

KV Noodle is such a hidden gem here especially if you crave Viet food late at night. This place is open until 12AM weekdays and 2AM on weekends. We got here around 11 on a Saturday and it was super busy. The owner was able to get us seated super quickly and she made our experience amazing. The menu here is pretty large so it was really hard to choose what to order because everything looked so good. Starting off, we ordered the shrimp and meat spring rolls. The sauce is super peanut buttery and thick which we loved so much. The wonton soup here is my favorite. They make all of their wontons in house so they are super fresh and yummy! My boyfriend loves their hu tieu dai because of how sweet and chewy the noodles are. We also had the bun rieu which was good but noodles were not cooked all the way and broth wasn't as flavorful as everything else. Coconut juice was also amazing paired with everything. Overall, this is the best place to have Viet food late at night. The service is great and fast even though they only have 1/2 front workers. I love this place and it'll be my new favorite late night spot.

The owner was super nice and sociable with all of the customers. She let us know that they close the store quite late most days because a lot of people in the area like to eat later! The pho itself was a solid pho. Broth was flavorful and clean. There was a good amount of meat as well! Something about the rice in the rice plate was also really good to me and the egg was a perfect crispy. I would love to try the shop's other offerings another time!

I'd give it 3.5 stars! Overall a decent spot for a hot bowl of noodle soup on a rainy day. The interior is clean and our waiter was nice. Food came out pretty quickly and piping hot. I recommend the Combination Yellow Noodle! The portion was a little small for the price (I wish they gave a bit more noodles). However, the dish was still delicious. Broth was light, flavorful, and not too oily.

First time came here as well for dinner. The restaurant deco was good and the bathroom was cleaned. We had Hu Tiu Vegetarian, Beef Stir Fried Noodles (C13) and 2 bowls of (G1-Combo Clear Noodles) Hu Tieu Dai Thap Cam . My Hu Tieu was good flavors. I enjoyed it quite a lot and definately recommended this dish here. The other dishes was good as well.

The Bun Cha Ha Noi is fantastic. The pork belly was grilled perfectly, and it came with a huge assortment of veggies, a big bowl of sauce, and a good amount of rice paper. I loved being able to easily dunk everything into the sauce. Even the small portion was enough for 2 people. The Banh Mi Chao Bo Luc Lac was just okay. I liked that the pate was warmed up with the rest of the dish, and the beef cubes were well seasoned, but they could have been more tender. We also got the fried chicken wings in garlic fish sauce. The flavor on the outside was great, but the breading was a bit dense and the inside needed more flavor. The service was great and they checked on us several times. There is also lots of blue monkey decor throughout to live up to the name.

Despite it being in a big lot, parking still took a while to find. Thankfully, we had thankfully just beat the lunch rush and not had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. My friend and I shared a Northern spread (Bun Cha Ha Noi) and a Southern style Goat Curry (Banh Mi Cari De). Service was definitely on the slower side that day, but thankfully we were proactive at getting the orders in. The Bun Cha Ha Noi was delicious - pretty much a DIY spring roll - all the fun, all the mess, with none of the clean up other than licking the plates clean. The pork belly was delicious; I was surprised how much I liked it, since I'm not a fan of pork. I devoured numerous rolls, and we also had some extra vermicelli to finish off the rest of the protein. This single meal was definitely more than enough for two! The Banh Mi Cari De (goat curry) was unfortunately quite the opposite. The goat was cooked very well - tough, gamy, and difficult to eat. There were probably six pieces in total, our first was tender, our second had bone, a little harder to chew, and the last was best compared to rubber. The curry was a bit watery, which made the banh mi soggy when dipped in. This was probably an adventurous try, but not a dish I'd ever consider ordering again.

They put a generous amount of meat inside this banh cuon and it complements so well with the fried shallots. Bun rieu 9/10 - the soup was so umami and flavorful, they included a big crab ball inside with tons of tofu and noodles, portions in this dish are generous as well. Very casual no-frills spot in Vietnam Town, typical viet service, food came fast. I had the Banh Cuon Dac Biet and found it to be pretty average, not great nor bad. The rice roll had a thicker, stickier texture; the cha slices on the side were cold, and the meat filling in the banh cuon were negligible. I had to drown it in nuoc cham, which was pretty watered down. I slightly prefer Tay Ho in Santa Clara. Overall, it was by no means bad, but just fell short of expectations, and I wouldn't go out of my way to return. 3/5

I usually order their Bun Bo Hue in a large size so I can enjoy some at the restaurant and still have leftovers to take home later. Service is always quick--you get seated right away, and someone usually takes your order within a minute or two. The food comes out fast, hot, and fresh every time. No matter what time of day I visit, there are always people eating here, which speaks for itself. The broth is incredibly flavorful while still being light and aromatic. Combined with the variety of toppings and fresh vegetables, it's hard not to dig in the moment it hits the table (as you can probably tell from the photo, lol). The restaurant has plenty of seating, making it a great place to bring family and friends. When you're finished eating, you simply walk up to the counter, tell them your table number, and pay. Just keep in mind that they only accept cash or debit cards. If you're looking for a comforting bowl of Bun Bo Hue, especially on a rough morning after a night out, this is definitely the place to go. I will always come back here.
