This was such a cool experience! If you have ever been to Japan and ordered out of one these pop up kitchen cars, this is very much like it. And the set up is so cool. The guy who helped me out was super nice and we talked about our experiences in Japan while awaiting my ube latte. 10/10 coffee. Can't wait to try another type of drink they offer. Not too sweet which is how I like my coffees. 10/10 display as you can see in the pic. I came around 8:45am and there was no line to my surprise. So definitely visit this spot for your next coffee fix!

I hate how much I loved this latte! Wonderful balance of flavors and many unique latte and matcha flavors to choose from. Service was quick and very personable! Very easy to talk to while waiting. Plus, easy parking. Highly recommend checking out!

In my visit to Austin, this is the only coffee place I wanted to go to twice in the week. Everything is tastefully sweet. You know it's there but the sugar doesn't need to announce itself. The two drinks I liked: Miso piloncillo latte - it is indeed umami & what salted caramel wishes it was. Delightful when hot. Tokyo Banana - sometimes, cafes do banana drinks and they taste nothing like banana and instead just give the faintest hint of fruit and overpowered by sugar. The Tokyo Banana has the right texture (not mush, not chunky) and level of sweetness and creaminess you want. The black sesame cake was really good too! Similar subtle sweetness and the right density.

I was glad to be able to taste the quality of a good, simple espresso and matcha here despite the wide array of interesting options I watched a bunch of students enjoy. The owner is friendly, knowledgable and interesting, and I wish his business great success.

Cute coffee spot! I was impressed by their small set up. The line would get long but they make everything fresh. Their flavors are definitely unique. Unfortunately I didn't care for the one I got, nor did my party especially like what they ordered. Outside of that service was nice, we probably just prefer more traditional flavors which we didn't try.

Great spot for genuine matcha and quality craft coffee drinks! Patrick (owner) is really friendly, approachable, and passionate about the menu - he'll walk you through everything if you're new. Good mix of classics and unique/seasonal items. Options for 12 oz. or 16 oz. and most stuff can be done iced or hot. Pretty great spot to give a try if you're in the area! We ordered the ube matcha and were pretty impressed. Great flavor and subtly sweet, which is perfect. Enjoyed the visit and will definitely be back to support! It helps that DDUK DDUK Donuts is right next door!

Okay, this review is long overdue. I've been to Kyoko a few times already but each experience has been spectacular. We've never been let down from the first visit to the most recent one. The van is so cute, and they've recently added a table and chairs to sit down and enjoy your brew before you go. It's in a well placed area too near the highland ACC and minutes away from The Crescent shopping center which is filled with shops and foods. We've tried so many different drinks here so it's really hard to narrow them all down and all have been 5/5. Easily one of the best coffee spots in town. From their Kyoko dreams of ube latte, to their pour overs, you will not have a single terrible item. Everything is made with love and your patience is worth it. You may want to order a couple of different drinks to try because it's hard to set your sights on just one. They use Onyx coffee beans, which IMO, are one of the highest quality roasters in the entire North America. Service is always amazing here so please be sure to tip. They work quick to get your drink in your hand while executing on providing you with the best quality drink you'll ever have.

Austin's Cutest Coffee! They aren't kidding. This truck and its concept are adorbs! Located at 6401 Airport Blvd in the Highland Collective lot, I stumbled upon it one day when I was taking a work walk break. What a gem it is too! I love the vibe, the friendliness, all of it. Of course what I love the most is the coffee. Unami Mocha and Ube Coffee (it's purple!!!) are the absolute best. I gotta try the Miso Piloncillo Umai soon. These Japanese-inspired coffees are rocking my world. The beans they use seem to be roasted in magic and glitter! Everything is natural and organic too.

All the drinks are Japanese inspired and super cute. Owner was super friendly and informative! My ube latte was delicious. Would def come back and try all of their drinks! They also have various fun matchas and teas. Picnic table style seating and parking lot right outside.

rarely do i refer to anything, especially in austin, as a hidden gem but kyoko coffee is exactly that!! their matcha rivals my favorite place in austin - it's earthy, and isn't overshadowed by the syrups used. he even gave us the extra matcha that he whisked but couldn't fit into our cup!! the banana matcha was perfect before and after we added the extra shot of matcha. it was sweet but still had a natural banana flavor!! the owner(?) was so sweet and inviting, and i hope to see his cafe succeed. i will always support them

This is the cutest coffee shop with the most attentive barista-owner. Service is top notch and you will leave satisfied with your drink. We tried two drinks: miso and umami mocha. Both were not too sweet. You might have to wait in line - at least on the weekend - because this little place is popular.

This coffee and matcha truck was such a pleasant surprise! The mango matcha was seasonal, and was so delicious. Not too sweet, and perfect level of tart - it actually felt like real mango. The mouthfeel did feel more like a smoothie though, as it was pretty thick. I also tried the banana latte and it was delicious too! The owner was super friendly, and seating was cute, but only outside. Thankfully the fans helped in the heat. Definitely want to try some more menu items next time!

Some of the best matcha in Austin. The menu itself has only a couple of drinks but the creativity of those drinks will pique your interest. I ordered the Miso Piloncillo and I loved it! The miso stands out and gives you an addicting unique sweet and umami taste. The Tokyo Banana is truly amazing! Made with real banana, it doesn't give you that artificial taste like other matcha places do and it wasn't too sweet balancing well with their Matcha. The owners are wonderful and informed us on the ingredients they use, where they get their matcha, and gave us any leftovers! I will always be coming back whenever I'm in Austin. Overall, 10/10.

I was a little confused when I drove up because I didn't realize that it's inside the Retreat Yoga Studio. There is a neon sign on the window as well as an A-Frame Sign near the entrance to let you know you're in the right place. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center. Because it's in a Yoga Studio, there isn't much seating (though they did have tables set up outside). The vibe was relaxing and calm. I don't know what scent they had in there, but it smelled nice. This wouldn't be a place to study or work as the seating is limited and I didn't see many outlets. There was a small area with bar stools if you need a tabletop, but most of the seating was couches and lounge chairs. It's more of a place to relax or catch up with a friend. I love when coffee shops have signature drinks. I ordered the Cajeta Crème Brûlée Cappuccino. It was so good, but it came in a small cup. The smoky sea salt was delicious! I don't typically care for sea salt in beverages, but it complimented the flavors so well! I asked the barista to sub oat milk which they were able to do but he informed me that some of the ingredients had dairy (which was fine). I appreciated the disclosure. I was able to drink it without any issues. Because my drink was so small, I decided to order a second one. I went with the Ginger Snap Latte (with oat milk) and it was tasty! I didn't like it as much as the Cajeta Crème Brûlée, but it was really good. I was happy that it was served in a larger cup. The space had plants as well as merch like clothing, scented candles, soaps, and jewelry (which was beautiful). The bathrooms were very clean and had feminine hygiene products as well as a basket with bobby pins and hair ties. I love the attention to detail! We were there close to closing time (3 pm). I appreciated that one of the employees let us know that they would be closing without forcing us to get up and leave. It was on par with the gentle and calming vibe of the space.
