Menu has changed since my last visit. New menu loaded in photos. Service was okay this time. One of the 2 servers we had really projected his demeanor of not wanting to be there. It wasnt bad service but felt a little unwelcoming...but thats just my opinion. We stopped in for a quick lunch on our costco/grocery run....food was still relatively good so no complaints there. Ramen is the perfect go to for a fall day. Will be back to try some of the new updated items.

After seeing Kyuramen on TikTok I had to give it a whirl and I was in south jersey so I was in the neighborhood. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a unique tree installation of art. There are private booths if you'd like a more intimate dining experience. Each table is nicely organized and equipped with seasonings and other items. The servers were attentive and polite. The food was excellent. I got the yinyang ramen and would highly recommend it. My fam liked their food as well, in particular the taro smoothie and shoyu beef bowl. I will be back to try more food when I'm back in so. Jerz.

This is a very solid restaurant that mainly specializes in ramen as well as other Japanese cuisine, like omurice and pork tonkatsu. We came in during a relatively non-busy weeknight. Though their individual booths required reservations, the restaurant managed to fit us in. Feeling like something other than ramen, we ordered the pork tonkatsu omurice combo. Seeing how they offer several fruit tea and boba options, we also got the Fresh Passion Fruit Tea to go with our meal. It didn't take long for the food to come out and it tasted very good. The portions were just enough for two people to finish and the tea drink wasn't overly sweet. The booth was nice to sit in, as it felt more private and was better for conversations. Overall, Kyuramen is a solid place to go with for friends or dates.

It was a nice experience since it was a first time visiting Kyuramen. The broth is on a saltier side, but overall tasty. The service was good, prompt, and efficient. The space was large enough it did not feel cramped even with enough customers inside.

It took me ages to finally dine at Kyuramen and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and had a short wait for a table. While waiting it gave us a moment to admire the decor, the atmosphere, and multiple displays of artwork created by customers hanging around the restaurant. They have private rooms/booths you can reserve which would be perfect for a group of people, but one of these days I'd like to sit at their bar. Service was great, the staff was friendly, and our food came out quickly (and hot!). I wanted to try a variety of items. Of course I came for the ramen, but the Popcorn Chicken and Pork Bao Buns were also calling my name. My fiancé and I split the Popcorn chicken and let me tell you, it was PHENOMENAL. The crispiest, most flavorful fried chicken I've ever had in perfect bite-sized pieces. It's really a must order. I chose the Katsuobushi Pork ramen because I love pork belly and some heat. It definitely didn't disappoint. I'd order it again but there are so many other offerings I need to try before I do. My fiancé went with the original Chicken Ramen #9. This was her first ramen experience and while she did enjoy it, she's not in a rush for ramen again anytime soon. I tried hers and, as with my ramen, there was lots and lots of flavor. I also really enjoyed my first ever bao bun, but between that, the popcorn chicken, and the ramen, I did have a little too much food. I actually can't wait for my next visit. I'm going to sit at the bar. I'm going to order the Popcorn Chicken again, but this time I'm going with the Omurice. Yes, I have my next visit all planned out because I'm that excited.

Kyuramen was a great dinner spot for our family. The ambience is so fun! We sat in a "private" booth, which my kids loved. The staff were attentive and helpful, everyone we encountered was great. While we loved the booth, next time we'll sit in the open area so we can see all of the fun decor. The stars were the popcorn chicken and yam fries. We did like the ramen as well. We prefer our broth a bit saltier but that's just our preference. Overall the quality of food was fresh, and well made. Noodles were perfectly bouncy and chewy.

From last visit, always a good time and good food in the booth. Kinda thrown off with an employee eating under the cute, decorative tree when approaching to want to take a picture.

The place was clean and the food fresh. Loved the design. Even though we do not eat pork or shellfish, found a decent number of appetizers.

Adorable place. Pretty big. Love the private rooms. Great for date night. Chill atmosphere. We ordered the Ying Yang bowl and #4 Sapporo Miso Ramen - both delicious. Would definitely return!

Alright. I have an addiction to this location. Went back for the 100th time on Saturday. My wife was in the mood for chicken ramen while I got the non spicy Sapporo ramen. Both of us ordered the fruit tea as well. Both ramen were flavorful and plenty. Price is decent and service attentive. We called ahead to book the private booths and never had issues with reserving them. Will continue returning. The only drawback is they stopped the stamp cards so no more free ramen or popcorn chicken after my 10th visit

Food choices are great and the service was quick. Food was good too! This place is a great place to bring friends and family. Love the atmosphere too!

    Do you have outdoor seating?

As I know they don't have, it's in a small plaza. But they have Japanese style private dinning booth with the curtain inside the restaurant.

    Is your establishment BYOB?

    Yes it is BYOB

Do your dishes contain fish or oyster sauce? If so, which do not? Allergy concerns. Thanks!

Since most Japanese dishes contain Dashi ( Bonito based stock) I would think your dining choices will be rather limited.

Do they have vegetarian options for ramen?

    Yes, tofu

Do the have any gluten free options?

Probably some dishes as they have rice dishes. Not sure if their noodles are rice noodles.

    Do they serve alcohol?

No, they do not. You'll have to call to see if they allow BYO.

Most of the food was completely bland. And again, everything else was bland and tasteless. Had to HEAVILY doctor the food at home to make it edible.

There are about 5 ramen choices. In addition, Genji offers Bao Buns, Sushi, dumplings and bubble tea. I have had the Bao Buns and their sushi and both again were pretty good. I do find Genji a bit expensive, especially since there is no real servers and the dining/seating area is shared with Whole Foods. Ramen, at least for me and in my humblest of opinions, is affected by the quality of several components. -The richness and depth of flavor of the broth -Texture and way the noodles hold up -appeal of plating -quality of accompaniments -utensils The ramen here is plated nicely, the shoyu egg cooked perfectly and the broth is pretty good - not itoxicasting or addictive like what I have come to expect but pretty good. I give this place extra marks because the execution and eating experience is well above average in thoughtfulness. Your meal comes served on a nice wooden tray, a mini mortar and pestle is provided so that you can grind your own sesame seed, fried garlic and pepper flakes, the soup spoon is a nice size and shallow enough with barely graded circumference of the spoon to prevent chin drips, cuz ummm why waste even one dribble of broth and the chopsticks are nicely ribbed for your eating pleasure. Ahem, no dirty thoughts here, just think about it. Noodles are slippery so the ribbing/design creates the perfect utensil to grab those noodles and transfer with minimum casualty to your anxiously awaiting mouth. All of these factors added up makes Genji Ramen a solid 4 star experience. Don't be skeptical because it is located inside of Whole foods. The dining area is open and great for people watching and you can fill your belly then grab a cart and shop away!!!
