Came here as a solo date and sat at the ramen bar! The waiters were super friendly and brought me whatever I needed. I decided to go with the classic Tokyo shoyu ramen. I also ordered the Takoyaki balls since I was pretty hungry. The Takoyaki balls came out first. They were super hot and crispy on the outside and chewy/soft on the inside :) yummm. The ramen came out after that and wow it was a great bowl of ramen. The broth had great flavors, the noodles were a nice chewy texture. Overall great meal. Ambiance: 5/5. Love the decorations and vibe! There is a bigger, open seating area as soon as you walk in, which has dining tables for bigger groups. If you walk into the right, there are more private seating areas, which I absolutely loved. In the private seating area, your table is set up with menus, hand sanitizer, different type of spices, and a bin to put your clothes/belongings so they dont cluster the area or smell! (Where the restaurant is located is a bit sketchy looking at night but that just happens to be the area so it is fine! There is free parking right in front of the restaurant as it is in a plaza, which is a big plus!) Service: 5/5. All the servers are so attentive and friendly. The food comes out really fast too! There is also a bell on the wall to call your waiter if you need something, as it might be harder to call them since there is a curtain like barrier betwen your seating and the walking hallway. Food: 4/5. Visually, everything looked amazing. So photo-worthy! However, I think some dishes looked bettee than they tasted. All the appetizers tasted good. We thought that the miso soup was a bit bitter? But that may be from the seafood they put in. The donkatsu that came with the omurice was amazing and so tender! So was the chicken in the ramen burger (although the ramen burger was a bit hard to eat because it is so big and hard). Dessert was also so good and unique. I am used to adjusting my sugar level for bubble tea so it was a bit too sweet for me, and I am not sure if you can modify the sugar level for the drinks here. We also thought the broth for the ramen were a bit lighter compared to other Japanese ramen places in the area. I did appreciate that they have a variety of menu options from appetitzers, entree, to dessert and drinks. Ordered the chili edamame appetizer and it was edamame with a couple spices on it Was dry and somewhat bland. The vegetable spring rolls were piping hot and tasted a bit greasy. Got the vegetable ramen bowl Broth was fine a bit bland ,the two mushrooms ( literal) in it were good. Finally ate at Kyuramen with some friends over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised! We arrived at 2pm for a late lunch, and strangely the place was packed. After waiting about 10 minutes, we were led to the side of the restaurant with a bunch of private booths styled to look like Japanese rooms, which was very, very cool. Inside each booth, there is a button you can push to call on the waitstaff. Kyuramen's menu is extensive! And they have omurice! The server brings out the omelette and slices it in front of you as you watch the inside ooze out. And it tastes great too! If you just can't make up your mind on which ramen to eat, you have the option of having two different flavors in a bowl separated with two compartments. The chewiness of the ramen was perfect. Broth was tasty and the chashu pork was not too lean, and not too fatty. Food was sent out of the kitchen as it's ready and was taking quite some time for everyone's food to arrive. Understandably, they are very busy as it's their grand opening week. I do hope they add alcoholic beverages to their menu. Currently this location only serves sodas, lemonades and teas. read more

I was really hyped to check out this new spot in Cherry Hill! This is definitely somewhere you want to go if you are in the area. The menu has a huge variety of different ramen including a tom yum and curry ramen too! We tried the shio and black garlic ramen with plenty of unique appetizers. The shio is this delicious milky pork broth and the other has a nice garlic and aromatic mushroom flavor. You really cant go wrong, the tonkatsu literally melts in your mouth. I suggest getting the combo ramens to try different kinds or getting a combo with the thai ice tea! I love the potato shrimp - such a crunch as oppose to the typical tempura. The pork baos are a MUST! The pork is so juicy and flavorful. A must!!! I was not as a big fan of the okonomiyaki. If you are a fan of seafood, their rice burgers are a hit! The soft shell crab burger is made so so well. The rice is still soft although fried and paired well with the salad and cucumbers. Definitely want that again! Sad they did not have the ube crepe cake but I recommend the mango one, it is not too sweet. This is a good addition to the neighborhood. Came back yesterday with my dad and this place still gets a 10/10 for every little thing! Food was amazing, service was top notch, super clean inside, and a fun/different experience compared to other restaurants in the area! We sat inside a different private "room" that said it represented a Japanese city. It would've been super cool if my recommendation before about putting a picture or some sort of decor to represent each Japanese city went into place, but that's okay. We skipped breakfast and lunch so we can make room for a ton of food at dinner. We ordered pan fried gyoza dumplings, Okonomiyaki, chilled tofu, CP #2 spicy couple, CP #1 black and white couple, Teriyaki beef rice burger, and Pork Tonkatsu omurice combo. For appetizers, the winners were okonomiyaki and chilled tofu. Gyoza wasn't crispy enough at all, but had good flavor. Okonomiyaki lacked sauce compared to the picture on the menu and was very thicc, but was also very tasty! Chilled tofu was refreshing and perfection! Ramen combos...amazing! Incredible deal and brilliant idea to let customers pick two flavors. We couldn't decide which one we liked more. Both SO good and pretty different! Teriyaki beef rice burger tasted great and I loved the sauce. I prefer eating it in a donburi style (rice bowl w/meat on top) rather than a burger because it was a bit difficult to eat. The flavors were all there though! Pork Tonkatsu omurice was SO tasty! Get it with the pork you won't be sorry. I can't recommend this place enough! Go for the food, experience, and great service! One out standing food item includes the omurice that is unique where other Japanese cuisines don't offer, it's a nice comfort food that entails a fluffy egg being cut in half oozing the filling inside over rice and drizzled with a sauce. And another staple here is their imitation of a Japanese booth for dine in option that makes you feel like home! Only compliant is the rubber like matcha pudding and cough syrup tasting flower dessert that came with our entree set which I was really looking forward to , sad! Do you like ramen? If so, I highly recommend you stop by this place if you're in the neighborhood. My niece and I shared the fried potato shrimp. First time each of us had that and we WILL be ordering again. I had the Thai Tom Yum ramen. Wowza! She had the curry ramen combo... combo includes steamed pork bao and Thai iced tea. She's not even a big pork eater but loved her meal. The matcha crepe cake is out of this world. We've never had crepe cakes ever but we both are matcha fans. And it was so satisfying to watch our spoons glide through all the layers of crepe and matcha cream haha. Our waiter, Eddie, was so helpful and came through with the recommendations. Parking lot available and we were lucky we showed up when we did, right before 6, as if started to get pretty packed. Pretty quick service and the good comes out quick. We wanted to order the Okonomiyaki but they were out of it along with most of the new items in the menu. We opted for the IKA GESO KARA-AGE [Fried Squid Tentacles] and the Pan Fried Gyoza Dumplings. I ordered the #6 Kyushu Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen and added black garlic and kimchee on the side. I got it on the level 2 which was labeled as just spicy. It was really good and not overly spicy but still a great flavor. My cousins ordered the #1 Black Garlic Tokyo Tonkatsu Shouyu Ramen which was also very good flavor. The Fried Squid was very crispy and well seasoned. The gyoza was a little plain but the sauce that came with it was really good. They do sell Thai tea there as well. WHAT GREAT SERVICE! Each employee we encountered was very polite and attentive! We were able to try a variety of dishes: 1. Tonkatsu curry ramen - broth was thick and flavorful. Katsu was fried well. 2. Chicken ramen - no complaints here. 3. Takoyaki octopus balls - such an interesting dish, but worth trying! Even my husband who has never had octopus, throughly enjoyed it! From the shavings on top, to the delicate fried batter, there is a mouthful of flavors. 4. Popcorn chicken - what a pleasant surprise!! Was wondering if there'd be a sauce when it got served on the table, but after the first bite, realized it is seasoned well enough that there isn't a need for a sauce! So crispy and meaty too! 5. Steamed pork bao bun - the pork was well marinated. Of course the pork and bao bun ratio was not even - buns always overpower the meat with these. 6. Crispy fried chicken rice burger - the consistency of the "rice bun" actually complements the crispy fried chicken patty! Feels "lighter" than a bread bun somehow. The chicken was indeed crispy and the side of purple sweet potato fries were sooo delicately fried! They melt in your mouth - definitely worth getting them as a side! Not sure how one would bite into the burger because it's so wide, but I'd be impressed if someone succeeded! 7. Classic omurice with side of demi glace - wasn't very seasoned or flavored, but the demi glace sauce saved it. I can see why people pay for it, just for the "show" of the waiter cutting the egg which then splits and falls onto the rice. Besides that, it is very plain. Kyuramen is SUPER aesthetic and offers a wide variety of delicious food! I came with a reservation for a total group of 5 people and we were immediately walked to our private booth when we walked in. For appetizers, we ordered the okonomiyaki (it really just melts away in your mouth and the sauces on top of the pancake were yummy) and two plates of the shrimp tempura (really nice and crispy). For our entree, we tried the Tokyo tonkotsu shoyu ramen, chicken ramen, and vegetarian ramen. The portions were pretty large and therefore very filling. The noodles and broth were delicious! For dessert, we wanted to try the ube crepe cake but they were out of it. Instead, we got the matcha crepe cake -- it was such a perfect end to our meal as it was so creamy and tasted delicious. The customer service here was amazing. Our waiter (Kenny) was really sweet and considerate. He answered all our questions and checked in multiple times to make sure that we were all doing okay. He also individually unwrapped and handed each of us a wipe at the end of our meal (so extremely polite of him). Walking in, we were led behind these curtains where a hallway of individual booth "rooms" were with little curtains for privacy (note - it was very noisy since it echoed the other loud tables). So got to try two different flavors - but in the end had to combine the leftovers which wasn't bad. Also got a Thai tea for free - which was good. I am so glad to have been invited to a tasting at this nice place not so far from Philly. When I entered in the restaurant my first impression was like 'okay regular seating place let's check out the food' and then the host took us inside passing the hallway and I was like 'wow that's such a lovely seating' there are cabins with various seating types that could accommodate small to large groups. Now let's get to the food...we were party of 2 and ordered all the things listed below in order of favs: 1. Mango Crepe Cake- must definitely try!!! It was so delicious had to get 2 of those 2. Soft Shell Crab rice burger - sauce was so delicious gave good flavors 3. Miso and Spicy Tonkotsu ramen - combination ramen allowed me to try 2 different flavors and was good rich in veggies and tofu (replaced it instead of pork) 4. Sweet Potato Fries 5. Japanese Fried Oyster I wasn't sure if it is BYOB, I forgot to ask . Instead I ended up trying Dragonfruit Tea and it was really good. Overall it was a great experience. The place was very clean (including bathrooms), service was great and spot on, ambience is amazing and food is excellent too. Not much else to say besides go try yourself. You will not be disappointed! Recommend making reservations as this place gets busy! I would say all the cabin style seatings were occupied at lunch time! And good thing there is a parking lot too. There are tables and what appears to be perhaps private tables (?) towards the back with a curtain that can be pulled in front of the table or booth. Seems like a nice option for something different when dining out. Our server was polite and got our orders in not long after we were seated. The menu was a bit more limited to what I'm used to for a ramen spot and the food came out randomly and rather slowly. We all got our food at different times and by the time my friend got her food, it was cold. Besides this hiccup, I did like that there were spice options at the table so you could dress up your ramen to be spicier and/or create more flavor. If you can make room, check out the drink menu. The Ramen scene in Southern NJ is getting better and better. I was surprised at how big the restaurant is with multiple dining rooms and they even had a bar seating to overlook the kitchen. Before our meal they gave us wet wipes to clean our hands. That was cool. Meal started with 2 apps. Fried squid and cream croquettes. We liked the squid but non of us liked the croquettes. Texture more than flavor was the issue. The broth to our Ramen bowls were flavorful and noodles had good chew. The char on the pork adds a great flavor to the the Ramen. For $6.99 more you can turn the soups into combos with boa buns and thai tea. Both are a must if you come here. I liked that I could order a split bowl of 2 different Ramen. The menu has items that aren't at other Ramen shops which is nice. Had we not been so full we would have gotten dessert. Always next time.
