This store is truly different. You have a good chance of finding almost everything you're looking for. The prices are great, the products are quite nice, and everything is in stock. They are also improving day by day. I would definitely recommend this place. However, there is one major issue: from the manager to the warehouse staff, almost everyone is extremely rude and uninterested. Especially the salespeople -- they act like they hate customers. They avoid eye contact and hide behind their desks as if they're too busy whenever someone wants to ask a question. Honestly, I have never seen a single person smile here. There is only one exception: YOYO. She is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Just go there and ask for YOYO -- don't waste your time with the other sales staff. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with one of the designers, Yoyo Chen. This was my second visit to the showroom. I was not aware that customers are required to work with only one designer throughout the project. Instead of politely explaining the policy, Yoyo immediately became rude and told me that I was wasting her time. As a customer, I had no way of knowing this policy beforehand. A simple and respectful explanation would have been more than enough. Unfortunately, the way she spoke to me made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. Customer service should be about helping customers understand the process, not making them feel embarrassed for an honest mistake. I hope management provides better training on how to communicate professionally and respectfully with customers in the future. read more

Renovated two bedrooms and a full bathroom and used KZ for the LVP flooring, bathroom tile, bathroom cabinet, medicine cabinet mirror, shower wall board and double sliding door. Visited the showroom a few times before purchasing. We were able to take some samples home and get a quote once we had our final choices. We worked with Vance and he helped us make updates to the quotes, finalize the order and ensured we had everything we needed. Pick up and returns were easy. We are looking forward to purchasing again from KZ and Vance once we continue renovations. Waited to review after 3 months of renovations to see quality of material and it holds up. Do NOT go to this KZ Kitchen and Cabinet location. The staff here is rude and unprofessional, and it ruined our entire experience. We were planning a kitchen build from scratch for our ADU project. We sat down with a representative, handed her our detailed plans so she could review them and understand exactly what we wanted. Instead of asking any clarifying questions, she immediately started designing on her own without consulting us. We figured we'd let her finish since she was already working off the plans we provided. When she presented her design, we noticed major issues: she completely omitted the kitchen island that was clearly shown in our plans, and several cabinets and drawers were wrong. We politely asked for adjustments--including adding the island--and she got visibly irritated and rude. She actually said things like "Why didn't you let me know?" and "I wasted my time." Excuse me? We literally gave you the plans that included everything. You looked right at them. You never asked us a single question to confirm details. How is that our fault? Her attitude was so off-putting that it gave my fiancée a terrible impression of the entire company. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, so we let her wrap up and left as quickly as possible. For comparison, we went to the KZ Kitchen and Cabinet location in Milpitas afterward, and it was night and day. The moment we walked in, a rep greeted us warmly. She was booked with appointments that day and couldn't sit down with us immediately, but she still went out of her way to give us her business card and invited us to email our plans ahead of time so she could review them and prepare a design before our meeting. That level of proactive, customer-focused service was 100x better. Long story short: this location gets a hard 1/5 from me. The Milpitas location is a solid 10/5. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and drive to Milpitas instead--avoid this place at all costs. read more

Plenty of private parking. Open 7 days a week, 8:30am or 9am to 5pm or 5:30pm. Service - 5 stars with Katherine. What a hard worker and 6 days a week! She is off on Tuesdays. She is so experienced, quick, able to multitask (not always a good thing), etc. She is also really good at "up-selling". My biggest concern are all the negative Yelp reviews, so will keep you updated on the quality of their products. Also, I will update if we do any returns, and share that experience. Update, no issues with returns :) Merchandise as quick as 2 weeks available. They also deliver for a fee. Price - $11k, my wife tells me one of the least expensive places. I don't know how other people got great things to say about this place and location, I had a BAD experience here: 1) First of, the place was chaotic, disorganized and no salespeople to greet or help me when I entered the door. My first impression was like entering a Chinese factory of some sort, everyone spoke Chinese and if you don't, good luck finding help. 2) I had a appointment with some sales girl named Yoyo Chen and she was horrible in customer service: 1) Texting other customers and taking calls while she was "supposedly" helping me finalizing my kitchen drawings, 2) Would not accompany me when I had to choose the countertop, kitchen, sink, faucet, drawers hardware and instead, sent me to the back of the showroom to pick out stuff on my own. Told me to get the part number to bring back to her and guess what, I had to go back and forth 3 times because each time, she would tell me that the parts are " sold out". What the hell? I told her if they are sold out, then why wouldn't they put up a notice next to the part number so that I don't waste my time going back-and-forth. She told me that if they are sold out, they would put an "x", next to the part number. Next to the part number, not over the part number? Are you kidding me, how would I know that's their code??? 3) By this time, I had it with her, and I told her to just price everything, without cabinet handles, and send it to me on emails. 4) The next day, she had the audacity to call me and told me that their price is only good for 7 days, and put pressure on me to BUY NOW! I was furious about her lack of professionalism, bad service and used-car salesman mentality so I will NEVER do business with her or this place! And no referrals from me either. As soon as you walk into any KZ Kitchen Cabinet store, it gives you a wonderful showroom experience, which makes it easy to visualize how things are going to look, while you're in the process of planning for a remodel. Their showroom displays a wide array of their products, ranging from kitchen cabinets, sinks, faucets, a variety of stone countertops, flooring and all kinds of bath products and fixtures. It really is a one-stop shop. What we like about KZ is that, as soon as you walk into the store, you feel welcome, but not pressured. Once we decided to purchase our kitchen cabinets from KZ, I went back to my friend again, to see if she knew anyone from KZ. She referred us to Katherine, who works in their San Jose store on Montague Expressway. The day we went to see Katherine, we showed Katherine the architect drawing that my husband drew for measurements and layout of our kitchen and showed her the KZ cabinets and quartz countertop we chose. Katherine is smart, experienced and responsive. She told us to have some coffee, go shopping around the store, and she will get to the design and drawing of our kitchen on her computer, as soon as she's done with the customer ahead of us. Sure enough, within a matter of 40 minutes, she was done with the drawing. After we reviewed our drawing, Katherine also provided us with many useful tips and reminders when it comes to remodeling, based on her abundance of experience from her own remodeling, and working with customers. All these became very helpful in our remodeling journey. We enjoyed working with Katherine very much throughout the entire process. Whenever we required reiteration of the design due to size limitations, Katherine was always there, ready to help modify the drawing and update any changes in the bill of material. All in all, we are very happy with our kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops and our designer, Katherine. We would highly recommend Katherine at KZ to anyone who is looking for a designer who is knowledgeable, patient, kind, customer-oriented, and quick to respond.
