I hope my review does this place justice: I've been having food from LA Italian Kitchen since I was a kid almost weekly, and I'm a working professional now! Their pastas and customer service are the best, especially Blanca and Rosa who have witnessed me grow up. Even though I don't live in Glendale anymore but visit weekly, I still get their lasagna or baked ziti with me so I can have some at work! A LOT of my coworkers have said that the pasta looks delicious and one even asked for me to bring her a lasagna and she LOVED it! My landlord is an Italian nonna who used to run a restaurant and even she had some of their lasagna and loved it too (and she's VERY picky about Italian dishes)! Whenever I eat lasagnas or baked ziti at other Italian restaurants, they don't compare to LA Italian. (Also, the ratio of noodle to sauce to cheese on their lasagna is perfect.) I remember they remodeled sometime within the past 3 years or so and I was so sad since I thought they shut down. But upon finding out that it reopened, a couple of my friends and I were celebrating since we love the food so much. The remodeling is probably the longest time I went without pasta from this place. read more

The prices are a lot more expensive than Sbarro's. Ordered the two slice plus drink combo for $15.99. I asked for it to go. They put the pizza slices through the oven, and then on two plates. I then asked them again for the pizza to go which means each slice should be put in a box. But, no. They put both slices in one single box along with the plates. So when I went to eat the pizza, the top slice was fine, but the bottom slice had a plate smashed on it. When, I tried to separate the plate from the slice, I lost half the cheese and toppings stuck to the bottom of the plate. One of the stingiest and most incompetent actions from a server that I have ever seen. If, the slices had been undestroyed, I would have rated a 3 star...mediocre pizza at best, but with the incompetence, only gets a 1 star. Terrible.​​​ read more

Pepperoni pizza is absolutely delicious so is their garlic bread. They've got a 2 slices and soda combo deal for like 17$ with tax included. My toddler loves this place and so do I every time we go to the mall he points it out to go there, then he runs away for me to catch him as we wait for the pizza lol. Service is wonderful in my opinion for a mall food court. All and all it's worth a shot, definitely tastes good. read more

My daughter have been ordering food from this place since she was in primary school. She has already graduated and we still buy from here at least 2x a week Rosa and Blanca has been there and are really great employees. They would cater to any questions you have. I don't know what this place has three stars!? This place has been a staple for the Glendale galleria food court for a long long longgggg time! I've always enjoyed their food and this place has always had great service too! I got the 2 pizza slice combo with a breadstick and the freshly squeezed lemonade to wash it all down with. All of that for the price of around $19! Not bad for the size of the slices and kind of pizza! Of the three I really enjoyed the supreme pizza! That mixture of ingredients coupled with the lovely texture of the pizza dough just really hit home cause I remember growing up I would eat this supreme pizza from there when I was a mall rat haha I mean I still am a mall rat but a rat with money haha anyways I bit into the breadstick which was actually quite good it was my first time ever eating that from there and I have to say it had enough garlic and cheese! Just the right amount! I went at it with the sausage and pepperoni and it didn't disappoint! The cheese pull was immaculate! *Chefs kiss* overall I enjoyed myself and I plan on going back there for as long as I can when it comes to mall tight dining haha or when I'm at the Glendale galleria lol. read more

This is a great little cafe type restaurant in the Glendale Galleria. The server was warm and friendly and we got spinach lasagna plus a bread stick and roasted potatoes for a cheap price of $13.00. The area and counters were clean and the food was fresh. This food was so good! My husband and I split a meal and we were stuffed. 30 minutes ago I was in that place one more time. Persons who worked there I just let you know you very rude with the customers! It is incredible! I was there about 10 times and I never had good expereince. I feel how they hate me or smb else. I hate people too but I just have to get my food and run away from them. Every employer is rude, 2 men and a girl... Every time I said I worked in mall they give me discount with so mad face like I took money from them. I work in retail too and I know how hard is that. So I try never ask about smth. But I am in very bad mood today. So I want you to know what I think about your joband your mood. I go there because I want to make some differences in my menu. First time coming here. The staff was a little unknowledgeable when I asked questions about the menu. I'm a vegetarian so I try not to be too much of a hassle yet I do still like to be safe on my side of the plate. I ordered a spinach, broccoli and mushroom calzone/ sandwich sub. It's quite delicious after being put under the x-ray heaters for five minute but I was on a time constraint for an hour lunch. Next time though I may opt to make my own calzone with my picks for which they said it would take about 15 minutes longer. Picture looks beautiful! But all pizza looks beautiful right? This was just heartburn lmao. Honestly it wasn't BAD it's just cheap mall pizza. If I want pizza and I'm at the mall then sure! I'll have a slice, but it was just a cheap fast pizza. A step below dominos and papa johns.... maybe Pizza Hut quality... except they don't have stuffed crust... so maybe a step below Pizza Hut too. Overall I'm not gonna return solely for the fact that I think everyone knows that this isn't good pizza. Its like going to McDonald's in the mall... if you want McDonald's in the mall then sure... My niece is the only one that gave this place a compliment. Let me tell you what it was... "This pizza tastes like the pizza at my school." It concerns me that they give this sorry excuse for food to my niece. I would have rather ate Sbarros, than this awful stuff. The greasiest Pizza I've ever had. The people there are extremely rude. They are terrible at basic math, and I'm pretty sure I just walked away with 2 free pizzas. I would usually go back and pay, no matter what the situation is. In this case, I would rather let the workers personally run the place to the ground. By the way, if you know how to speak Spanish, then you'll be able to hear the Spanish version of their rudeness.
