The service was exceptional, so attentive. The low lighting, artistic, high class syle of the venue was really nice. My scallops entree was delicious, cooked perfectly and the textures and flavors melted together so nicely.

Two of my friends were in town and headed to an uber fancy dinner (that I obviously wasn't invited to), but they did deign to meet me for a cocktail beforehand. I thought it should be equally fancy so I brought them here. L'Adresse is an EXCELLENT place for a fancy drink. It's comfortable, elegant with high ceilings and ornate light fixtures that make even the shabbiest, simplest man (me) feel like he's a king for a day. The staff was very sweet despite my obvious scrubbiness, and happily seated us at a banquette with a view of the whole room. As one might expect, the "most affordable" cocktail on the menu is $20, so the menu may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed my Medicina Latina (as the server said, essentially a Penicillin with agave spirits and some candied ginger). I liked it so much that I had another, because you only live once. Someday I'll return for a full meal, and I imagine it's just as fancy (and hopefully as high quality) as the room, and the cocktails.

The restaurant is small but cozy inside. The service was top notch, they were always by for drinks, food or anything we needed. The food was excellent! For dessert we ordered the sticky toffee pudding and they also brought out a complementary chocolate cake for my birthday, so nice! Next time I'm in New York I will dine there again

I used to visit the restaurant in Bryan Park, which is why I knew about this location however I will say that the Bryan Park location was far more inviting and beautiful. I do enjoy the space as well as all of them food and coffee options that they have and so I will definitely be back. I think this staff is super professional and extremely helpful, they also don't try and rush you out of your seat, which is important because I take quite a few meetings here. I would definitely recommend getting a reservation, especially on the weekends.

Good food, but nothing particularly special. Service is excellent. Cocktails are good. Wine list is ok, but very basic. The room is beautiful. Vibe is subdued.

This restaurant/bar has a nice ambiance. I had booked as a happy hour spot with colleagues, as I saw there was a Happy Hour menu (named "Social hour"). I didn't know until we got to the restaurant that it's only available at the bar. While I wasn't surprised by this rule, I wished it was more public on the website or the online menu. It is fine for 1-2 people to enjoy but when it's a larger group bar seating isn't optimal. It also was a shame that since we were the only diners there for almost 40 min they weren't willing to move us, but I wouldn't ding them any points for that. The soocial hour cocktails were good (priced at $12). The food, even with happy hour prices, were on the pricier end.

The service and ambiance was excellent. We went for late lunch and the restaurant was pretty empty except for 2 tables. The food was underwhelming. The tuna tartar was overly salty; good thing it was pair with the lettuce to cut the salt. Rissoto was too hard and my friend complained that the mussels didn't taste fresh. The duck pasta was also disappointing. Duck was dry and the pasta tastes like dry pasta. I was expecting fresh pasta. The squash was very flat and one dimensional. Overall, I would recommend going elsewhere for good food.

A pleasant dinner here. Friendly staff and servers come to fill the water cups numerous times. Crispy calamari was crispy and delicious with zucchini rings. Truffle mushroom gnocchi was really good. Sticky toffee pudding was unique. A perfect place to unwind after a day walking around so much! The manager came by to check on us a few times. Their attention details and water filling, scrape the crumb before dessert was served showed a fine dining experience. The staff, room ambiance were extra kudo points in earning the 5-star rating. There are plenty of places to eat in NY, but this is a place to worth a try!

Excellent ambience and great for business dinner. Chic. French/ American modern bistro. Great service with host, sitting 3 of us in a quiet table appropriate for conversation. Awesome cocktails with generous pour, calamari, Seabass, espresso all delicious and well balance. Great location next to Ritz Carlton

NEED to come back here to try this matcha french toast but i think that was just a brunch item love this place it's super ambient and elegant. the truffle gnocchi is to die for. servers are very nice and accommodating cocktails are hit or miss but very pretty

    Spring risotto

A cozy and sophisticated restaurant with high ceilings and a dark romantic table setting. The cocktails are tasty and well crafted including the Bramble with gin and blackberry and the Airmail which is like a more refined version of a margarita with Prosecco. The menu is not French despite the name of the restaurant. The bruschetta is a delightful starter with fresh ricotta and pesto. The calamari is crispy and light. The scallops are perfectly seared and garnished and the spring risotto is blended perfectly. The service is attentive and kind.

Oh my. What a shocker. Well below average. First off, took our order and then came back to tell us they were completely out of the Chilean Seabass. Bummer. We then chose the New York strip, which was completely flavorless. The all-time insult to the chef is we then asked for ketchup, just to swallow it. I don't think I've had a catch up on a steak in over 15 years. The cook on the steak was OK. We both asked for it medium. I ate only about a quarter of mine my partner ate half. A complete shame, the salmon and crispy rice we sent back. It was so fishy overall a complete miss! Don't bother. With all the wonderful places around this is one I would pass on.

We're three young women in the service industry and still felt completely unwelcome--the hostess told us to find our own seating even though the sign said see hostess. The bartender was rude and uninterested, standing 5 min+ at the bar without even being acknowledged. Another staff member was dismissive when closing us out and rolled her eyes when asked to take cash. The overall vibe felt like we weren't wanted, even though it was only around 11 PM. The DJ was underwhelming and the bathroom was vile. The most pleasant part was the below average $20 drinks. For an expensive, well-known spot, this was a very poor experience. The bartender knew the drinks inside and out and was able to make some good recommendations. We had the Profunda and two of us had the Imprimatura. Creative, thoughtful, balanced! We also ordered spiced nuts and half a dozen oysters, which were fresh and tender. The bar area was modern and lovely so we were almost reluctant to depart when our table was ready! However, that reluctance dissipated when we entered the bright and airy dining room. It felt like we were eating in a very upscale greenhouse! Great natural light made for a relaxing atmosphere. We opted for the 3-course menu as we had plans to tour the museum afterwards and couldn't fathom doing so after the 8-course tasting menu! We also did the add-on wine pairing. Initially, we were going to order a bottle of wine but the wine list is 150 pages long, and why tie yourself to one varietal? Before the meal even began, we enjoyed 2 amuse bouche offerings; a fish confection and jamon serrano on crackers We started with the eggs on eggs on eggs - completely worth the supplement; unctuous, umamai, decadent. A symphony of flavors and textures. Since there were 3 of us, the server thoughtfully brought out 3 toasts so we could easily share. Before the "real" food started arriving, we were also brought a marble loaf and light, airy butter. Two of us started with the chilled lobster starter; one had the white bean cappelletti. The white beans were the standout! The garlic flavor was a beautiful compliment to the meaty morels without being overpowering, and we were very glad for the marble loaf to soak up the sauce! While the lobster was super fresh and the dish executed perfectly, the lemon was a tad overpowering. The bartender highly recommended the chicken; however, two of us opted for the sea trout and one had the pork. I didn't sample the pork, but the sea trout was velvety and rich, with a beautifully scented saffron broth. To finish, we had the dark chocolate cremeux (complex, adult, DANGEROUS!), the yuzu gelato (fresh and tart!) and the deconstructed carrot cake (cozy and familiar). A note about the wine - Isabelle the sommelier was a true standout! She chose some unusual pairings that worked perfectly with our meals and explained in good detail about each wine and why she selected it. In addition to having a perfect pairing, we also got some good educational enrichment. Isabelle is clearly passionate about wine and her selections and service really added to the meal. The Modern was a true treat!
