Our baby, 2014 Mercedes 350ML BlueTEC, was having a midlife crisis. It was leaking oil for months, but we never could ascertain from where despite cleaning the engine several times. My good friend Oshin at Discount Smog in Canoga Park (best smog facility around!) had recommended Leo at L&A Garage. It is very much a family business. His wife does all the appointments and invoicing. (They just had their first - a girl.) Leo is all smiles as genuine as the parts that he uses. He had to get up inside the canyons of that engine and thoroughly clean it three times before the leaks' locations could be determined. In the course of replacing some gaskets, we found components that were at their life's end. We love the ride, power, and economy of this model, so we wanted to make it new again. We ended up replacing some components and belts, even engine mounts. Leo only used parts which he determined were OEM proven. He guarantees them along with his work. We had to replace the steering wheel vibrator as well. Mercedes are complicated to repair. He priced everything fairly - much less than the dealer. He was always in communication. We had him repair and paint the front bumper also. The litmus test is whether my wife was satisfied with everything. She called me from the car shortly after we got it back. "It's like butter.
