It's been 8 years since we've been here and the food still taste GOOD ! Love the ambiance and the service it's always on point. This is a truly hidden Gem I'm willing to share. I didn't take a photo of the Crape it's to die for trust me. We promise to return sooner.

My first time at La Boca and certainly not the last. This is the start of a beautiful relationship with one of the finest steakhouses I've ever been. Service is impeccable and so warm and friendly. The food can speak for itself. I could live on the Provoletta and Noqui with pancetta, peas and cream sauce alone.

Filet - Medium, cut and tasted great.

Great experience for a casual friday with the fellas! Great food, Quality Service and Tasty Drinks..

Service was friendly and the food was amazing. We did the Chef's Tasting menu and every item was delicious. I got to try things I wouldn't have ordered normally, and the price is a great deal too! And getting to pick my steak knife was a perfect touch!

The food, service, ambience, and time with family and friends were great! We ordered the cheese for starters and each had a different steak with a different side that we all shared. We had the mashed potatoes, French fries, green beans and Brussel sprouts. I had an Old Fashioned and two of our guests enjoyed margaritas. Our waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative. There were many great steak options which were nice and the sides were a nice size to share and very tasty. Tinned the night, we shared a complimentary flourless chocolate cake in celebration of a loved one's birthday.

Heart of Palm Salad- this was refreshing as a starter!

Throughly enjoyed my dinner there! Ordered the four-course tasting menu that came with empanadas, bruschetta, chorizo and noqui, your choice of steak with frites, heart of palm salad, seasonal veggie and flourless chocolate cake. The three sauces elevated the meal: herb based sauce, pepper sauce and a mustard sauce. My favorites were the herb and pepper sauce. Our first course was the appetizer sampler! This came with the empanadas, bruschetta and chorizo. My favorite was the chorizo! It was spicy and savory! You can taste the spices and smokiness of it. Loved the casing, too! It gave a satisfying crunchy bite. Bruschetta was sweet and the mushroom gave it character. Empanadas were my least favorite. It didn't have the amount of seasoning that stunned my taste buds like the chorizo did. The shell was tough to bite into. The noqui was next and it served. The texture of the noqui was light and fluffy. It wasn't tough and the cream sauce was thick and rich!! Pancetta salted the dish for you. I wanted MORE. The peas were a nice break from the heaviness. Next, steaks! We ordered the special that night that I forgot the name since. It started with an S. (Somebody help lol) Anywaaays, this was an extremely tender piece. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare and when I say it was seasoned, IT WAS SEASONED! Whoever did the marination, KUDOS. The frites were thinly sliced and overly crispy upon arrival. It smelled great but tasted burnt. Some of the green beans were on the firmer side. Last course was our flourless chocolate cake. It was thick and decadent. Personally, I didn't like it because of the aftertaste the topping left but don't let me stop you from trying it though. Enjoy

The steaks here were cooked perfectly ! Medium rare! Sausage was ok, we had the salad which was great addition . They had martinis as well. High recommend for a good steak night !

Good cuts of meat. Great flavor. No unnecessary "frills". Simply delicious. Came in on a Tuesday night after a work conference. Called and made a reservation but it probably wasn't needed. At 7:15 the place was pretty open and no line for a table. The food was remarkable. Very well seasoned, cooked to order, and it does a lot with simplicity. The Entraña Fina was delicious and so tender. They offered sauces for the steak but it was so unnecessary, the flavor of the steak was more than enough! Don't skip the Provoleta if you love some fried cheese! There's no chicken, no fish, just beef. It's a steakhouse and they own it! The waitstaff was good, offered specials, made recommendations and was attentive to our table. I definitely recommend this place and am looking for an excuse to eat here one more time before I leave!

I ordered the 18 ounce ribeye medium rare, it was awesome and cooked perfectly! The Brussel sprouts were fantastic also!

Do you have to have a collared shirt as per Dress code?

No. This establishment is sexy, but not having an inch of collar fabric wont keep you from enjoying fabulous food. Very welcoming.

Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! We will be back.

My wife had heard about the Pimm's Cup so we ordered a sample flight of their 3 flavors (Original, Strawberry, & Englishman's). All 3 were excellent. My personal fav was the Englishman's but my wife preferred the Original. We started off with the Crawfish Flatbread as an appetizer. The topping was really tasty but the bread was a bit undercooked. I ordered a 1/2 Italian Muffuletta and my wife had a red beans and rice. I will say that unless you are starving and have a huge appetite, I don't know how someone could eat a whole Muffuletta. They are huge. My 1/2 was more than the 2 of us could put away. Looking at other plates as they were brought out assured me that you shouldn't leave this place hungry. Everything looked huge and very yummy.

Entering through the tunnel you get the sense that you're stepping into a place you shouldn't really be and Sylvain seems to accentuate that with this secretive environment that feels almost like a cocktail lounge. The service was fantastic with the hostess seating us for our reservation right away and the waiter being incredibly patient and helpful during our dinner. We had someone in our party love the playlist here so much they asked the bartender for it as well. The menu is bold and complex but they were happy to strip it back to basics if needed. It was extremely cold in the restaurant though, so make sure to dress warm, especially in the colder months. We ordered their cast iron cornbread, chicken sandwich (no pickles or hot sauce), and their special of the night which was a pork-veal mix sausage on a milk bread bun and topped with sauerkraut. The cornbread was dry but the flavor was good. The butter they gave with it had cajun spices infused and gave it a nice zip although it was a bit too salty. Their fried chicken sandwich was delicious, light and crispy with salty shoestring fries that hit the mark. Lastly, their house special of the sausage was great. The sausage itself was well seasoned and the bun was soft and sweet. It was a bit salty with the added sauerkraut but the mix of flavors was still delicious. We also ordered a drink, just erotic not kinky, which was delicious. It's a bourbon with blackberry and lemon juice that was strong and refreshing at the same time. Sylvain is a culinary delight surrounded by an area that demands it. The food could be a tick better but it is still very, very good with fantastic service to bolster it. Whether you want a casual dinner or to drink cocktails in the French Quarter, this is a spot that is worth a look and your money, especially if you're with a big party.

That simple move already separated this place from the chaos outside. It's hospitality in its cleanest form: welcome in, take a breath, we got you. Inside is low light and old time apothecary mood, menus like a spellbook, but it's not gimmicky. The bartenders move like they've done the reps. Calm. Precise. No frantic showboating, no syrupy cover ups, no sloppy pours even with the parade energy banging on the door. We ordered two and they were both dead on. Alchemist Elixir: pea flower gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon. It shows up pale violet with an orchid on the rim and yes it's pretty, but it's also disciplined. Floral without tasting like perfume. Bright without being sour. A drink that makes you slow down. Plus a magic chemists surprise. Corpse Reviver #2: local gin, Lillet Blanc, Grand Marnier, absinthe, fresh lemon. Cold, crisp, citrus first, then the herbal edge and just enough absinthe to remind you what city you're in. Served in a textured coupe with a cherry skewer, details handled like they actually matter. Outside, the streets were selling amnesia in plastic souvenir cups.
