Great spot for a solid steak dinner. We went with the tasting menu and it was a great price for how much food you get. The appetizers, salad, and noqui were very good. Everything tasted really good overall. We had the vacio and entraña, both cooked perfectly, super flavorful and juicy with big portions. The fries were good, the green beans were very flavorful. The chocolate cake was rich, decadent, and moist, I really liked it. Service was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. Would definitely come back for great steak.

It's been 8 years since we've been here and the food still taste GOOD ! Love the ambiance and the service it's always on point. This is a truly hidden Gem I'm willing to share. I didn't take a photo of the Crape it's to die for trust me. We promise to return sooner.

My first time at La Boca and certainly not the last. This is the start of a beautiful relationship with one of the finest steakhouses I've ever been. Service is impeccable and so warm and friendly. The food can speak for itself. I could live on the Provoletta and Noqui with pancetta, peas and cream sauce alone.

The food, service, ambience, and time with family and friends were great! We ordered the cheese for starters and each had a different steak with a different side that we all shared. We had the mashed potatoes, French fries, green beans and Brussel sprouts. I had an Old Fashioned and two of our guests enjoyed margaritas. Our waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative. There were many great steak options which were nice and the sides were a nice size to share and very tasty. Tinned the night, we shared a complimentary flourless chocolate cake in celebration of a loved one's birthday.

Service was friendly and the food was amazing. We did the Chef's Tasting menu and every item was delicious. I got to try things I wouldn't have ordered normally, and the price is a great deal too! And getting to pick my steak knife was a perfect touch!

Heart of Palm Salad- this was refreshing as a starter!

Throughly enjoyed my dinner there! Ordered the four-course tasting menu that came with empanadas, bruschetta, chorizo and noqui, your choice of steak with frites, heart of palm salad, seasonal veggie and flourless chocolate cake. The three sauces elevated the meal: herb based sauce, pepper sauce and a mustard sauce. My favorites were the herb and pepper sauce. Our first course was the appetizer sampler! This came with the empanadas, bruschetta and chorizo. My favorite was the chorizo! It was spicy and savory! You can taste the spices and smokiness of it. Loved the casing, too! It gave a satisfying crunchy bite. Bruschetta was sweet and the mushroom gave it character. Empanadas were my least favorite. It didn't have the amount of seasoning that stunned my taste buds like the chorizo did. The shell was tough to bite into. The noqui was next and it served. The texture of the noqui was light and fluffy. It wasn't tough and the cream sauce was thick and rich!! Pancetta salted the dish for you. I wanted MORE. The peas were a nice break from the heaviness. Next, steaks! We ordered the special that night that I forgot the name since. It started with an S. (Somebody help lol) Anywaaays, this was an extremely tender piece. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare and when I say it was seasoned, IT WAS SEASONED! Whoever did the marination, KUDOS. The frites were thinly sliced and overly crispy upon arrival. It smelled great but tasted burnt. Some of the green beans were on the firmer side. Last course was our flourless chocolate cake. It was thick and decadent. Personally, I didn't like it because of the aftertaste the topping left but don't let me stop you from trying it though. Enjoy

The steaks here were cooked perfectly ! Medium rare! Sausage was ok, we had the salad which was great addition . They had martinis as well. High recommend for a good steak night !

Good cuts of meat. Great flavor. No unnecessary "frills". Simply delicious. Came in on a Tuesday night after a work conference. Called and made a reservation but it probably wasn't needed. At 7:15 the place was pretty open and no line for a table. The food was remarkable. Very well seasoned, cooked to order, and it does a lot with simplicity. The Entraña Fina was delicious and so tender. They offered sauces for the steak but it was so unnecessary, the flavor of the steak was more than enough! Don't skip the Provoleta if you love some fried cheese! There's no chicken, no fish, just beef. It's a steakhouse and they own it! The waitstaff was good, offered specials, made recommendations and was attentive to our table. I definitely recommend this place and am looking for an excuse to eat here one more time before I leave!

I ordered the 18 ounce ribeye medium rare, it was awesome and cooked perfectly! The Brussel sprouts were fantastic also!

No. This establishment is sexy, but not having an inch of collar fabric wont keep you from enjoying fabulous food. Very welcoming.

Rich, layered, and well-balanced with fresh elements that worked together on the plate. For entrées, we had a variety of cuts, including the Australian Wagyu, ribeye, butcher's cut, and lamb chops. The Wagyu stood out immediately. High quality, great sear, and finished tableside, which added to the overall experience without taking away from the food itself. Each steak was cooked precisely to temperature and full of flavor. The lamb chops paired with carrots and brussels were well executed and balanced. The sides complemented the meal well and did not feel like afterthoughts. You can also see their in-house dry aging setup, which speaks to the level of detail they put into their steak program. It shows in the final product. The drinks were solid across the board. The Old Fashioned and bourbon selections paired well with the meal and matched the food's quality. Service by Noelle was attentive and responsive throughout the night. Everything flowed well, and we were taken care of without feeling rushed or hovered over. This is not a casual dinner spot, but for a celebration or a night where you want a full experience, Doris Metropolitan absolutely delivers.

Overall, the experience was average and did not fully meet those expectations. The charcuterie and cheese board, priced at $68, was underwhelming in both portion size and value. It included only six thin slices of cured meat and a small selection of cheeses. Unfortunately, one of the cheeses had an unpleasant flavor that made it inedible for our table. The bread service was a highlight, offering a nice variety of breads and accompaniments. The ribeye was cooked well and enjoyable, but it did not stand out from what I've experienced at other upscale steakhouses. The five-cheese couscous was the biggest disappointment, as it lacked the rich, flavorful profile its description suggested. While the service and presentation were appreciated, the overall dining experience did not justify the high expectations or the price point.

We got there a little before they opened but since it was raining they let us in and we waited off the side until they officially opened. Let me start by saying the restaurant is gorgeous! The ambience was grown and sexy and definitely gave fine dining. The waitress was pleasant and gave recommendations because I had no idea what to get. We got the bread to start and OMG that bread was delicious! It was buttery, with a honey flavor and 2 spreads to use. I wanted to eat it all but knew I had to eat an actual dish lol. My husband and I shared a small plate-the wagyu tacos. Lets just say I woke up thinking about those tacos I ordered a medium prime rib eye & my husband ordered a medium rare filet. His filet was perfect but my ribeye was overcooked. They made me a new one with no problem & were very apologetic. The new steak was more medium rare than medium but I still ate it and it was good but fatty. We shared the seafood mac & cheese which we both agreed was the best we had ever had. It was a huge portion so we ended up taking some home (didnt last very long after getting home). Lastly, we ordered the praline crème brûlée....another thing I woke up thinking about Im already thinking about the next time! 10 out of 10!

The atmosphere was wonderful, the music playing, the staff was incredible as was the food. There was so much to take in as far as interior design. We loved it. We had some sort of steak, a starter and a salad. This was about a week ago, so I don't really remember exactly what we ordered. That being said the next night we tried a different restaurant with great reviews in the same neighborhood. The ambience was great there, but the food did not measure up. Immediately after that meal, we walked back to Morrow Steak to finish our trip on a high note. We shared the cauliflower starter again as well as a dessert this time - which was something I'd never heard of but incredible some sort of cheesecake that was purple. The first night we sat at a table and the second time we sat at the bar - and it was an equally wonderful experience. The bartender was extremely friendly and efficient. Again we were wearing casual clothes. Out of respect to the other patrons, I wish I had packed nicer clothes to wear but don't let this detour you if you didn't pack them. We had multiple servers, our drinks never ran dry, we had plenty of warm French bread and it didn't take long to get the food. I split a steak (22oz Ribeye) and my favorite part is that I can get a side of onion rings and fries together. I am not sure why other restaurants won't do this. I would not be able to eat a huge pile of these large onion rings or fries so the half and half is genius. I also tried the creamed spinach, which could use a tad bit more seasoning. The live music established a really nice ambiance. There were customers sitting around the piano having drinks while the musician was performing. It was an excellent Friday night experience. I also had the crab bisque. It was okay okay. The fifth star is because we left a gift bag outside of the restaurant and didn't think about it until dinner was over. From the moment we sat down, the staff set the tone--professional, genuinely friendly, and impressively efficient. We began with a trio of starters that showcased both richness and restraint. The foie gras torchon was silky and indulgent, perfectly complemented by fruit confiture and warm, toasted Bellegarde Bakery bread--a classic pairing done right. Marinated crab claws, dressed in a lively chili vinaigrette, delivered a bright, briny punch, while the pickled pineapple and jalapeño chips added just the right balance of sweetness and heat. A cucumber salad rounded out the starters, crisp and refreshing, acting as a welcome palate reset before the mains. For entrées, comfort and finesse shared the plate. The confit chicken thighs were meltingly tender, paired with ham-braised greens swimming in a tangy apple cider vinegar broth. A lovely Dijon cream tied everything together, adding richness without overwhelming the dish. Equally memorable was the half smoked duck, beautifully executed and deeply flavorful, served over a smooth pumpkin-sweet potato purée. The cherry bourbon glaze brought a subtle sweetness, while the pepitas added texture and a nutty finish. Dessert was the perfect exclamation point on an already wonderful meal: a slice of hot chocolate cheesecake, decadent and deeply chocolaty, crowned with toasted marshmallow fluff that leaned just enough into nostalgia without crossing into excess. Toups Meatery continues to deliver thoughtful, soulful cooking with polish and heart--comfort food elevated, served by a team that clearly knows what they're doing. We saw on the menu that checks could not be split, which was fine even though split would be preferable to us. So, when our server told us the check can't be split but she can "take multiple cards" I was a bit confused and asked if she could explain more since that's what we might do, since she said it was possible. Already there she gave attitude and said I don't know how else to explain it to you in a rude tone. After we finished our food, we asked her to take multiple cards for the check and she told us to write on the back what to charge each card. I apologize that I did misunderstand what she meant, and put the items rather than the exact amount to charge each card. She came back and said, "you did exactly what I said not to do." So I said sorry and was in the midst of redoing it by calculating when she just snatched it from me and said she'll just do it. I had no problem doing it nor did we complain even once. After a while, understandably, she came back and basically scolded us, saying what if she was busy she wouldn't have been able to do this....but she said she could do it in the first place! We understood from the get go no split checks but then she gave the option of multiple cards so obviously we took it. The food was good and the ambience was nice. I enjoyed the open kitchen concept and seeing the pizza oven. But the service ruined it for me. I work the food industry and would have never acted this way.
