    Turkey with avocado
    Jessica M.

Stopped by La bou for lunch while out Christmas shopping around noon on a Friday. It wasn't too busy, which was nice. I ordered the turkey sandwich with avocado on sourdough. One thing to note is that the menu on the wall lists the sandwich names but doesn't explain what comes on each one. I like to know what's on my sandwich, so I had to ask an employee, who was helpful and explained it to me. The sandwich itself was really good. The sourdough bread was super soft and fresh, and everything tasted great. Their pastries looked tempting, but I didn't end up getting one this time. Overall, I was happy with my meal and service was quick. Would definitely stop by again.

    Smoked turkey on croissant

I pretty much get the same thing at every La Bou I visit. A smoked turkey on croissant, a Chinese chicken salad no peanuts, and 1/2 a baguette sliced with a dill sauce. Today I skipped the salad. The sandwich was fresh and delicious. Their baguette is good, but their dill sauce is amazing!! You can buy it by the cup this one is right by my work and it has been consistently good and the service has been good. Prices are a tad high but everything is these days!

i am a sucker for a baguette and dill dressing from labou. big labou fan here, and just love that i will get a consistently good meal at any location. tons of parking outside, with a drive thru option *insert praise hands emoji*. plenty of soup, salad, sandwich combos and breakfast too! they do have some signs up asking for patience since they're short staffed. it was still a great dining experience. will be back!

Their Tomato soup is SO GOOD

Baguette and dill sauce is MANDATORY. I love that most Labou locations have Thai tea.(one of my favorite drinks in the world) I get their tomato soup which doesn't sound special but - IT IS. You can do half soup, salad or sandwich during lunchtime (which I lived off of when I was going to school) it's the perfect lunch spot. The staff are always so nice and the restaurant is clean. Try the tomato soup! lol

Quick and easy lunch spot whether you dine-in or to-go. This modest fast casual dining place is a favorite. Their dill dip is a must try! Our usual are the tomato bisque, turkey panini, club sandwich (new fave), Chinese chicken salad ( the dressing is so good), and the Asian noodle salad. Service? meh!

Burnt cheese on the outside of a ham and cheese croissant. The ham was dry!

I have not been at this La Bou in maybe 2 years. I regret saying that it has really gone down hill. I ordered a chocolate croissant and a ham and cheese croissant and a cup of coffee. The ham and cheese croissant had burnt cheese on the outside and the ham inside was very dry. I have been a La Bou customer for over 25 years and before this, everything I have ordered was delicious. My chocolate croissant was also not good. Not as bad as the ham and cheese croissant but not as good. I'm sure the difference is new owner/management. I hope this isn't the same for the other La Bou's!

    Asian Noodle salad

I'm actually posting this view to find out if others noticed a difference in their food. The noodles today are definitely not the normal noodles they use. They are kind of a mix between spaghetti and chow mein noodles. And there is very little flavor. Just taste oily. The blueberry scone I got didn't have it's normal crunch. They tasted like day old scones. Still good but just not the quality I'm used to.

As much as I hate spending the money to eat here, I love everything on this menu. Maybe that's why my lunches here tend to be much closer to $20 than $10. Sure, you can stay under $10 too. Favorites: *Chicken Caesar Wrap. Love the roasted red bell peppers, cucumbers and lemony caesar dressing. Fresh. So fresh. *Chicken Club Panini. All the flavors. Avocado. Bacon. Chicken. *Thai Chicken Soup. Any day is a good day for this soup. *Dill Dip. SHOWSTOPPER. #IFYYK *All the breakfast sandwiches. Yes,all.

Turkey croissant sandwich and Chinese chicken salad
    Allyson M.

One of my go-to's for lunch since I work relatively close by. They have a wide variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries and more. My personal favorite is the Chinese Chicken Salad. You can tell that every single meal is made with love and good quality food. I also love ordering a half baguette and a dill sauce on the side. Whatever you do, you MUST order dill sauce!!! It's absolutely to die for. If you're coming for breakfast, I highly recommend the spinach and cream cheese croissant!

Delicious food in a magnificent atmosphere

The service here sucks. The ladies who work here are always rude. Also it's over priced-- but the Thai chicken soup calls me back in

We tried almost all the specials, including cioppino, a peach, garlic bechamel, arugula, prosciutto, balsamic pizza and chicken parm and enjoyed everything. The chicken parm had the right amount of breading- was lightly crispy on the outside with tender meat on the inside. The pizza had that farm-to-fork fresh flavor and the house ranch was a nice accent. The cioppino looked inviting and was nicely seasoned and flavorful. My friend thought the rosé sounded good so we ordered 2 glasses. Our awesome server told us they have a Wine Wednesday deal, so we ended up ordering the whole bottle and it was fire; we agreed we'd order it again. They have a nice room in the back for private parties or for anyone wanting to look at the beautiful landscape behind the restaurant and the whole restaurant in general is a nice setting for dinner or drinks (they have wine, beer, n/a and soju cocktails). Parking-wise, they share a private parking lot. Cheers!

Food is solid and hearty, with rich elk and tasty burgers cooked medium rare and juicy. Servers are friendly, courteous, and prompt. Parking is plentiful in the adjacent lot. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but their happy hour menu is a bit more standard/reachable for a casual night out. Beers and cocktails are well made and delicious/refreshing. This was actually the first time I visited the entire downtown Roseville area, and I was pleasantly surprised there was a parking garage since all the parking spots in front of the establishment were occupied. We arrived around 1:30PM and observed a fair amount of patrons on a Monday. We were immediately greeted and seated. Loved the decor. After a few minutes mulling over what to get, I ended up getting the French Dip with duck fat fries. I also tried their Divinity Stout. Wow. The food - Amazing! Really enjoyed the French Dip - well sized portion and ended up having leftovers that I was able to enjoy a few hours later ha! The Stout (Divinity) - I need to go back and buy some bottles to go. So good! I'll definitely be back. The one minor gripe was I observed was there weren't any TV's at the bar (from what I can see anyway). I would have loved to head over here as I am writing this review to watch the NBA finals. All good!

For the French dip I will say it was bursting with flavor, the bun was nice and crispy and soft on the inside and the meat tasty. My only issue was it was way over salted. The Reuben was also tender, tasty and the sauce was very good but again the fries and meat felt over salted. They were packed so our server was few and far between but she was really kind and you could tell there was just a lot going on. Overall the feeling of space was on brand for a cellar with low lighting and dark ambiance that made it feel a bit more classy.

A classic breakfast sounded good at the time... From the breakfast menu I chose the Juke Box Special but the friendly server suggested the Soldier Boy instead which was basically the same thing except this included grilled potatoes and only one pancake. The server urged me to try the potatoes... omgosh! it was so good, they were grilled and I love the crunchiness. Nothing fancy on the menu just good, ole' classic home cookin' and diner "comfort food." Breakfast is served all day.
