Very cute casita in the middle of nowhere with delicious coffee and energy drinks. Quaint seating and a nice breeze in the intense AZ heat. We got 2 lattes and 2 energy drinks and they were delicious and refreshing. Very friendly staff.

This is what Sunday mornings were made for...

I can't say enough about this coffee shop. The customer service is old school excellent customer service. We loved it. Best flavorful coffee, best flaky pastries. Loved it. Absolute a must to visit when you're in AZ. It's definitely an experience.

Went on a Saturday morning. Very busy. A large iced coffee was 8$ which is pretty could if you compare to Dutch bros and black rock. Really good and fast service I got the intensa iced coffee, highly recommend!

Talking with her feels like chatting with a neighbor from the era when people actually knew their neighbors, borrowed sugar, and cared about their community. The kind of conversation where you came for coffee and accidentally stayed because you were enjoying yourself too much. We ordered the Tiramisu Biscoff Latte, the S'mores Latte, and an iced caramel latte, and every single one was incredible. Not the "cute coffee shop" kind of good where you pretend to like it because the aesthetic is nice -- I mean "actually" fantastic coffee. Rich flavor, perfectly balanced, beautifully crafted, and dangerously drinkable. Then, while we were waiting, she casually asked if I liked apples... and before I knew it, she was making me a fresh crepe on the house just so I could try it. Honestly, if someone offered me free crepes and kindness in this economy, I might tear up a little. Everything is made fresh right in front of you, and you can taste the care put into every detail. Nothing tasted rushed, overly sweet, or artificial, just genuinely well-made food and coffee by people who clearly love what they do. I've passed this place a few times driving through downtown Buckeye and kept saying, "We should stop there sometime," especially after hearing other Verrado locals rave about it. I'm officially late to the party. And somehow, these owners performed the impossible: they made a spot next to a gas station parking lot feel like the coziest hidden café getaway imaginable. The music, seating, decor, and atmosphere are unbelievably cute and welcoming. Five minutes after sitting down, you completely forget where you are. This place feels less like a business and more like the coffee shop a Hallmark movie character opens after moving to a small town to rediscover happiness. Absolutely worth the drive. Great coffee, incredible crepes, wonderful people, and the kind of place that reminds you how nice genuine human interaction can be. Suggestion: Post your prices on the menu or a board!

Sinful, with berry pieces in it. I kidded with Joe, the owner (see the photos) that his store looks like an escapee from Scottsdale, without Scottsdale prices. He laughed. There are so many other fun things you can buy there. Joe's so incredibly friendly, and he gave me a sample to try. There's more seating, lots of it, than the pictures imply. It's all beautifully decorated, so you'll enjoy the experience for more than just the gelato. Wherever you dine in the Buckeye area, leave room and stop over at The Gelato Tavern for a fun and incredibly tasty experience! And go next door to Barbon Asadero for a wonderful Mexican lunch or dinner. We dined there first, and had gelato for dessert. As I said, leave room for a gelato dessert wherever you dine!

As soon as we got there I googled "ice cream near me" and this location popped up! The lady working was extremely nice and helped me decide what to get, letting me "over sample" all the samples. They had a variety of flavors and sorbets. I liked the vibe and the couch, I just wish it was busier. Overall, a fun little mini trip outside the city, and a reminder that these ice cream shops can be well priced! We're not use to these below average prices (compared to PHX)!

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a decade…read more Over the years, Americans have converted breakfast to a corporate affair. Today, our breakfasts are experienced at places like "Over Easy," "First Watch," "Village Inn," and "Denny's." It's industrial breakfast. The old-fashioned, mom-and-pop diners are as rare as a hen's tooth. But not in Buckeye, Arizona. The Heritage is a welcome return to the great, neighborhood breakfast counters of old. It's privately owned and the owner, Kevin, greets you and stops by your table. "That's great," you say. But what about the food? And that's where The Heritage makes its name. Let's start with the homemade, pillowy sourdough English muffins. Most places use some industrial-food English muffin preserved with disgusting ingredients like L-Cysteine. These aren't those. These are like your grandma made. They're soft, yeasty circles of beauty with just enough sourdough taste to send your tastebuds into bread heaven. They're a far cry from your basic English muffin. On to the eggs. Most breakfast restaurants use liquid eggs from the restaurant supply. They come in big bags, bereft of nutritious value and flavor, but full of preservatives. Not these. The Heritage uses fresh eggs and they've perfected how to make them fluffy, buttery, and perfectly-cooked. No brown spots or runny middles. It's egg perfection. The sausage is really different. These are not your usual Sysco or Shamrock greasy pucks. They're thin and fresh and meaty and just slightly spicy (not hot just slightly herby). They're a subtle flavor surprise. And fork tender. The potatoes are little cubes of rich goodness. Cooked just right and golden brown. They're excellent. To finish off the breakfast, Heritage serves a luscious Carmel pecan roll with a vanilla glaze. I liked it but it was slightly dry if I want to be ridiculously nit-picky. But most people wouldn't even notice. All of it is served by some smiling young women who were working hard and answering lots of questions. The entire service experience was pleasant, friendly, and efficient. On a Saturday morning the place was PACKED so service was slightly slow. Though nothing like a crazy morning at Over-Easy or First Watch. What an amazing and pleasant surprise this little restaurant is. Their breakfast burrito looked excellent and everybody around us was raving about it. I'll try that next. The menu is small but efficient and contains some little gems. Give the cinnamon roll a try too! This is an absolute must for breakfast or brunch. And I hear the owner is thinking about offering dinner in the near future. A needed find in a historic building in old downtown Buckeye. A new favorite.

It's a smash burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, smash sauce, and pickle. You get the option of chips, fries, or a side salad. I ordered it no onions, double patty, with fries. If I had to rate it, I'd say 7/10. The fries were just cooked enough and almost had a hint of being undercooked. The burger itself was pretty tasty, but if the bun was a little softer, I would've given it a solid 9/10. Still, their breakfast is always delicious, and that's usually what keeps us coming back.
