Stopped in here with a group of 5 for breakfast over the weekend. Because the location is within a Whole Foods the dining space is limited. That being said, the staff was very accommodating and brought our food to a table that could fit all of us in the Whole Foods dining area rather than the sectioned off La Farm dining tables. The Madame Croquet was DELICIOUS. Think of it as a more sophisticated "egg in a hole" toast combo with meat and cheese. The bread was amazing and the egg was cooked perfectly. For a fast casual dining experience I was not expecting this kind of quality. It was amazing. La Farm served Counter Culture coffee. It was good, but unfortunately my cup was full of grinds at the bottom. Simple mistake that could happen anywhere, but next time I'll be sure to check ahead. This location is inside Whole Foods and closes at 9am however, if it is slow they start shutting down the ovens at 8. Turkey chili is good with a strong kick of spice. Chicken salad was average but way too many grapes. read more

We came in around 8:45 or 9:00 pm hoping to get a pastry or muffin for dessert. The actual La Farm Bakery and cafe had been all but closed down already (hours say it's open til 10:00 pm). We were able to find many La Farm items in the main Whole Foods bakery area, though, as well as a lot of Whole Foods baked items. The bakery items are delicious. We have been going to brunch or doing take out from La Farm for the last 10+ years. Croque Madame and Croque Monsieur are to die for. Also love the quiches, scones and fresh bread. La Farm and Nineth Street are the best bakers in the area, IMHO. read more

My friend rave about this place (she usually goes to the one near cary parkway). I finally came to try but due to xmas schedule the only open one was the one by Whole Foods. And my god I was not impressed. I got the creme brûlée French toast. I was hoping for some kind of crispy top with the nice Carmel flavor that creme brûlée usually have. But what I got was basically four pieces of soggy bread with no interesting flavor. Something I could have made at home but cost $10!!! Not really impressed so not sure maybe the location matters??? Normally go to Cary Pkwy La Farm but in the area. Closes at 6 but we were told at 5:15 staff wouldn't take our order so they could leave at 6!!! After we asked for manager, they agreed to make our sandwiches. Argumentative and extremely rude, telling us "we didn't understand the restaurant business. I have been here a handful of times for brunch or to pickup bakery treats and have always had a positive experience. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for brunch averaging around $10-$12/person. Even on a busy day it was easy to order our food and then find somewhere to seat ourselves. I love the creme brûlée French toast and mini cinnamon scones. My husband usually gets a breakfast sandwich. It's a great and cute casual brunch spot. Wasn't that impressed. Service was fast but food was mediocre. I think the food is better at their main bakery but the service is a lot slower there. So pick your battles. I ordered a cold brew that tasted nothing like a cold brew I have had anywhere else. It was somewhat milky/frothy, which I had never experience before. The sandwich was OK. Been a La Farm customer for years, my favorite brunch place around the Triangle. Their French toast with side of strawberry was my favorite, but when I ordered this at the new location, it was a disaster.... French toast came totally burned (the entire thing was black), the side of strawberry was really sad, 5 pieces that probably adds up to 1.5 strawberries total, and the strawberry looked like they were "smeared" on my plate with strawberry stains everywhere, the presentation was just discussing. I really didn't expect that you can mess up French toast with a side of strawberries in such a nasty way. It saddens me to say this, but don't think we will be coming back to this location again.... read more

Probably more like 3 1/2 stars. The service was friendly and quick, and the potato soup hit the spot. My turkey sandwich was fine--nothing special to write home about--but wife's fig/prosciutto on toast seemed rather small in size for the price. It was like one piece of toast with preserves and a few rolls of meat on top. Good thing she got the soup otherwise we would have still been hungry after dropping over $30 for two sandwiches and soups. Tea was delicious as always. I'm glad they opened closer to me, but not a big fan of the grocery store side restaurant. I get how it works, but when I think of La Farm, I think of the great place in Cary where it feels more like a French bistro. I was super disappointed with our brunch experience at La Farm. We went in and ordered the Avocado Toast and the Tartine Diablo. We were both pretty disappointed with what we received for $14/each. We waited for over 15 minutes to get our food and when we did it was cold. The bread was chewy and not in a good way but the way it gets after it's toasted and sits for a while. The eggs on the tartine were also extremely cold. The potatoes were the coldest thing on our plates and not fully cooked in the middle. The avocado toast was also the same on the bread front. It almost felt like the food had been "ready" (minus the undercooked potatoes) for a while and just sat there prior to it making it to us. I felt like it was super over priced for the food that we received as well as even if it was at proper temperature I still feel like it was way over priced. I've paid $15 for an avocado toast plate (with a side) at super nice restaurants and received more quantity and quality from a café that was attached to a whole foods. Bakery: really good quality bread, pastries are a little on the sweet side for me and a little dense, but they have interesting seasonal options. A brand new Whole Foods opened up off Highway 55 in Cary, NC! It has an incredible bakery/bistro inside! The bread is delicious and the pastries are soooo good! The menu includes several breakfast and lunch items and delicious coffee. I decided to try their Deluxe Breakfast Sandwich and Cafe Latte! The garnish was sweet cantaloupe and fresh orange slices! While the seating areas are nice enough, they could have made it more cozy (like the Cary Parkway location) and sectioned it off more from the grocery store. Otherwise it feels more like eating in a grocery store. It's just quite a bit different from the other location interior-wise. Tried to order Hot Cross buns for Easter, the man behind the counter said; I don't know what that is. After reaching over the window to point at a bun with a cross on it, he was still not sure. Then he went on to say those three buns on display were the only ones left. Another employee then came around to show they had boxes left. I guess the first employee must be very new. More employee training needed. The hot cross buns were a bit smaller than how they are made in Europe and the taste of cardamom a bit stronger than necessary, other than that it was good. One box costs 7 something dollars. read more

I so want to give this place more stars because of how often I go here but they have room for improvement in terms of their food. I love the coffee they have and the Whole Foods cafe is so cute and comfy but the breakfast sandwiches and croissants are just okay. I've been to La Farm Bakery on Cary Parkway before so I was excited to try out the new La Farm Bistro in the Whole Foods that just opened near my neighborhood. The staff was obviously new, so there was the expected logistical difficulties that will improve as the employees gain more experience. The food was really disappointing though. I ordered the daily special, the fig and prosciutto tartine, which sounded delicious. What I got for $8.95 plus tax was a sloppily put together slice of bread with a thin smear of fig jam, a few crumbles of goat cheese, a few arugula leaves, and a slice of prosciutto. On the side, was a small mound of some type of grain salad that neither smelled, tasted, nor looked appealing. When the server brought it over to me, I had to stare at it for a few minutes because I was shocked that both the kitchen and the server had thought it was okay to put out something that looked so meager. Fortunately I was able to get a granola bar after I left so I wasn't hungry for the rest of the afternoon. My latte was tasty and the restaurant looks appealing. I'll probably come back for coffees and possibly dessert but I probably won't order any more meals here. read more

I am generously giving three stars instead of one because I have enjoyed lunches that here previously. Yesterday was a big exception. I was served a Croque Madame with burnt sour dough bread, dry shredded ham, crispy cheese and a very overcooked egg. There were only six customers in the restaurant so I truly do not understand the unacceptable meal presented, except that the chef's eyes and mind were elsewhere. The numerous staff behind the counter, including the chef, were laughing and chatting away; the counter person was rudely disinterested when I brought the overcooked meal to her attention. If you are looking for a catered lunch for your company, you can't lose with the box lunches and salads from La Farm. They are delicious! Each includes a Belgian chocolate chip cookie and their amazing bread, and everything is so fresh. Our staff loves them, requests them, and they eat tons of catered lunches from a variety of caterers, so they know good food. You have to order their peach sweet tea, too. Katie and Kriss are a pleasure to work with, and make their ordering and delivery process a breeze! They are always on time, friendly and helpful. read more
