This is a local gem! I am obsessed! If I lived here, you would catch me here every weekend. The coffee, the food, the service, the set-up...everything was PERFECT! They have a small cart, nestled in a beautiful neighborhood. The staff are friendly and bring the energy. The coffee was fabulous. I opted for a latte with oat milk and the beef empanada. The beef empanada had the flakiest crust and was stuffed with flavorful beef and onions. I could have eaten 3 of these, they were that good! Do yourself a favor and take a walk to pit stop by. This place is AMAZING!

Do yourself a favor and wake up early on Saturdays! The coffee is strong and the baked goods are 11/10. Staff is very friendly and it's easy to park in the neighborhood.

I've decided to visit this neighborhood coffee pop up shop after hearing about it. There was a line when we arrived at around 9:45. While waiting, we met and chatted with neighbors who've been coming for some time. Love the community vibe and how they are supporting this local establishment. I placed an order for a beef empanada, a guava/cheese empanada, and an iced coffee. All was delicious. The staff are friendly and compassionate (you can taste the love). You will receive a loyalty card as well - I'm excited about that. To enjoy their coffee/pasteries, they do have a few chairs and a few high-top tables. I'll definitely be going back to try their matcha. :-)

For starters, we got the New England Clam Chowder and an order of Chickpea Fries. New England Clam Chowder - definitely a chowder and not a soup (heavy cream base) with a nice flavor and a healthy amount of clam bits. Chickpea Fries - A nice portion of well prepared fries. Nice crunch on the outside, but moist on the inside. Well seasoned and not oily. Comes with ketchup and an avocado lime ranch, which was ok. It's a huge portion and we took most of it home to enjoy later. Good use of chickpeas. Branzino - This is a whole fish split in half. Pretty easy to remove the bones oneself. The skin was nice and crunchy with the meat inside moist. Well prepared. I'm not a huge fan of dill and I think the seasoning of dill is a bit overdone here. (I'm pretty sure it's dill. Whatever it is, it's too heavy for me and detracts from the meal.). The wild rice side dish is very good. Lobster Roll - Excellent. My partner ordered this and the only comment was that the large was very big and next time they likely would get the small one. Lots of delicious, cold lobster meat. The fries also were excellent. The service overall was very good. Our food was served at an appropriate rate (apps, then main, which seems not to be important at a lot of restaurants these days) and the water service was excellent. Recommend this restaurant. I probably would not get the Branzino again because of the heavy dill seasoning, but there are other items in the menu that look interesting.

I ordered 2 whiting plates. One with collard greens with smoked turkey and fries and the other with Mac n cheese and rice and gravy. The fries were good. The whiting was fried to perfection. I also like the greens (I'm a southerner so I'm a bit hard to please). Everything was reasonably priced. The restaurant had nice music playing and has a bit of a lounge feel with the dark walls. It wasn't crowded on a Friday during lunch time. I'd go back for sure.

There is some parking in front and there is a parking garage that is within walking distance. I ordered wings and a meatloaf platter that came with two sides. I ordered lemon pepper and the sticky wings. The wings were crispy but lacked the lemon pepper flavor. I wish the stinky wings had more of the sauce on them. The meatloaf was seasoned well. You could get smothered with gravy or their bbq sauce. For my sides I ordered the greens and mashed potatoes with gravy. The greens were seasoned well. I don't know if I would go back, simply because it was really far out for me. If you are in the area I would say am check it out. The staff and service was amazing.

If you have not had the chance to stumble upon this stand when it pops up near you, shame on you…read more My god are these tacos delicious and made fresh when you order. But word of caution, get to them early, like almost as soon as they set up, because the goods go fast. We were lucky that for our lunch the one day they were set up on the Georgetown Capital Campus. We love when a food vendor is nearby. Especially here, they rotate who will be there and our luck was Taco Dirty To Me (love the name too). By the time we got there, between noon and one, we were made aware they were already out of two proteins. Not to worry, we still were able to satiate our need for tacos. What they did have left made for some happy bellies and repeat customers when they pop back up. With the limited selection I ended up with a Honey Sriracha Shrimp and two Bang Bang Cauliflower tacos. Then you just get to stand off to the side and watch them make the tacos fresh. As you wait to hear your number be called the smells makes your mind wander. Once they were ready they have foil available to keep them warm until you get to where you want to devour them. The shrimp taco was amazing. The lime slaw, scallion, and cilantro mesh well with the flavors. The Panko breading really makes the honey sriracha stick to the shrimp. Bang Bang Cauliflower, same breading, same mixture of items, but the sauce on this one has a bit of a kick, and it is so good. I can't wait for them to come back around the office. Check their socials for their monthly calendar on where they will be. You might be surprise just how near to you they might be. They are also available to cater an event to, so keep that in mind.
