This is such a cute place to shop!! The food and pastries are delicious. One star off for spacing in the store it's a bit crowded, and one star off for having plastic utensils...for the cost we should have actual utensils. I was sitting there trying to cut and it was frustrating because I couldn't just cut and enjoy my meal I was trying not to break my fork. This might have been THE BEST BREAKFAST MEAL I'VE EVER ORDERED. Seriously. If you study my photos note the mushrooms are double. The whole dish was so rich, creamy, so fresh. Damn! Updating my review two years later. I re-tried the pizza at dinner time and it was falling apart. The cheese was falling off and it was soggy, not crispy. Pretty dissapointed. I also came for breakfast and ordered the $8 avocado toast and it was 1 tiny piece of toast with goat cheese, avocado, and sprouts. For $8 I would've expected a little larger, two pieces, or maybe some fruit? I sent it to my friends and they were like UR KIDDING. This was my second time to LGO! It's a fan favorite in this area and a treat to stop by. First off, the place is always poppin', which also means the same for parking! The situation.is a bit rough. They offer a small lot up front that is very easy to get yourself stuck in and you may find yourself maneuvering quite a bit to get out of. They have a roomier alternative behind the restaurant as well. The inside has a two main sections, one with the dining room which also sports part of their pizza kitchen and the other side has their party case, coffee bar, grab & go goods, beverage fridge, wine, registers and a whole lot of cute Knick knacks. You wait in line to order and once placed, grab and seat and then return occasionally to the end of the coffee bar area to see if your food is ready. It's not the mower effective system and the space is crowded with people and things, but it works somehow! Food comes out pretty quick and is always fresh and tasty. I opted for the salmon toast and side salad in the grab n go case. The toast was ammmmmazing. Truly, the flavors were delightful. I also really enjoyed my salad, it was fresh and had lots of avocado and paired nicely with my toast. The menu is pretty extensive. They have pizza, sandwiches, couple grilled sandwich items, salads and breakfast and sushi! I am really looking forward to trying some of their pastries, they have all sorts of pies, cakes, cookies and bites. Went for a day date with my sister as we walked around the small market inside well we decide what to order for lunch we grabbed a coffee. Originally the Myne that tasted like chocolate milk. La Grande Orange is in our neighborhood and a unique establishment. LGO is a grocery store, novelty shop, bakery, ice cream shop, pizzeria and restaurant. It is a beloved haunt in the upscale hood. We frequently order pizzas or stop by for a great salad. The complex is packed full of other establishments and parking is a real problem. The food however, is worth the wait along with the ambience. Families, dogs, large gathering and laughter are all found at this busy gem. Today, we ordered the Gladiator and the Bisbee. Wood fire oven cooking and the refinement of the combination matches maked these pizzas exceptional. The Gladiator pizza has sausage, pepperoni and hand mixed combinations of cheeses. The Bisbee is a tribute to an old Arizona town. It has beef chorizo, sundried tomatoes, salsa verde, anaheim peppers, jalapeno and pistachios. The crust is thin with a perfect crunch while the dough has an ideal amount of chew. Both pizzas are a home run and great flavor profiles. I feel the magic is with the cheese blends. If you are looking for that special combination of great taste, a fun and cool vibe, and a unique neighborhood haunt, try La Grande Orange. Pulled were people in, both customers and employees to give favorites and suggestions. This place is magical! I've went here since I was 4 and lord their crepes are to die for. The staff is nice and ive never experienced disrespect. The food also comes out pretty quickly, depending on what you get as well though. This place is so nice to have brunch at! They have a gift shop with kid varieties to keep them entertained or even if they just wanted something. They have a jewelry stand as well! Some things are a bit pricey in the gift shop but if you're willing to buy it then of course do as you please. Lastly, they have fridges where you can get your own drinks! As well as a bakery. Stumbled on this place by accident as I missed my turn getting to my yoga class. I stopped in here afterwards as the exterior looked inviting and charming. Apparently, this place is pretty popular as the parking lot was jam packed with cars and it is a very fairly crowded parking lot, so be prepared for that. I didn't dine in here, but did check out the market store. So if you're in need of an oven mitt or socks, La Grande Orange can help you with that. They also have fresh meals to go, gelato to go, last minute gifts & cards, anything up the alley of impulsive buys can also be found here! I started eyeing the dessert case and so many items looked really good to me, but finally I settled on a piece of carrot cake ($5.50) and took it home to savor. The way to my heart is a kick ass piece of carrot cake! Carrot cake is pretty good, not the best I have ever had, but very decent, could use a bit more seasonings, like more nutmeg, more cinnamon, more fresh carrots. I'll definitely come back to give other items a try like their crumpets. Prices are a bit higher here, but I think you're paying for their rent, so keep that in mind. read more

40th St and Campbell is one of my favorite foodie spots. La Grande Orange is a pizzeria, grocery store, gift shop, bakery, and bar all in one location. They are part of the LGO Hospitality group. My buddy used to live down the street and we would walk here often for a pizza and a drink. "Your Money or Your Life" is one of my favorite cocktails that they make here. I also had another friend that worked in the bakery and she gave me a personal tour back in the early days when they first opened. It was fun to see how they make all their pastries and desserts. The breakfast bars are so good! LGO's bar, bakery, and pizzeria all have their own personal spaces that they operate out of. This review is about the LGO general store area. There are tons of unique gifts you can purchase throughout the store. Intertwined in the store is a wine section, an ordering counter, and an espresso bar. You can order sandwiches, salads, pastries, gelato, and desserts from the ordering counter. They also have a grab-and-go area if you are in a hurry. La Grande Orange always makes for a nice afternoon lunch when I am in Arcadia. Parking is very limited. But there is valet available in the surrounding area. read more
