It has this comfy couch, two large chairs, and a table at the front of the place where they're going for a minimalist vibe. But once you place your order, you must then cramp yourself with all the others waiting for their orders in a tiny corner. Which is right by the few tables they have. So while it's light and airy at the front. It's cramped and dark while waiting for your order. The coffee was great and we got some chia pudding to go. Came here for a Rare Beauty give away with a friend and ended up trying the iced Peach Matcha latte drink! I love Matcha so I was super interested in this one. I found it to be just okay - the peach flavoring was nice and helped to cut the bitter Matcha but I'm not sure that I would order this on my own without the giveaway. The store itself is super cute and there was plenty of parking in the lot! This seems like it'd be a good spot for studying or WFH days as there is plenty of table and couch seating around the area. A really fun atmosphere. A cool place to be able to get coffee, lattes, etc. We only had coffee and water so I can't really comment on the food. However, are the food did look good. The cashier was patient as we ordered as we this was our first time being there. The speed at which the coffee came out was great however we didn't order any food or any speciality drinks so I can't comment on what that experience is like. Not a ton of seating inside however they do have a large outdoor patio that is shared with umbrellas very clean interior and exterior. I've been wanting to try Lalaland for the longest time to see what all the hype is about. There's been a lot of buzz online about their matcha and coffee, especially the new "Keith Lee Matcha." As a self-proclaimed matcha connoisseur, I had to check it out for myself. I originally tried coming on a Sunday, but the place was packed with a line out the door and the brutal Texas heat, I couldn't bring myself to wait. I gave it another shot on a Monday afternoon, and luckily, the line was minimal. Perfect chance to finally give it a try. We ordered the Keith Lee Matcha; an iced double matcha with a secret syrup and a fresh strawberry on top. I got mine with soy milk and asked for an extra pump of the mystery syrup. WOW. This is hands down one of the best matchas I've ever had. I know some people say this drink is too intense, but that's probably due to the high matcha content (7-8 grams in one drink!). If you're used to lighter or sweeter matcha drinks, I'd recommend asking for a few extra pumps of syrup to balance it out. Personally, I love a strong matcha flavor, and this one hit the mark. We also tried the Upside Down Iced Matcha; a matcha twist on a Starbucks caramel macchiato, with your milk of choice, matcha shots poured on top, and caramel drizzled along the cup walls. It was a bit too sweet for me, but my mom absolutely loved it; perfect for anyone who prefers their drinks on the sweeter side. The staff were super friendly, the space was clean and inviting, and we even got free tote bags! Second visit to a la la land kind cafe! I forgot to document the first time and I didn't like my drink that much lol. (I think I got the Buddha latte with cinnamon) This location is much easier to park near and has lots of seating outside! Staff was kind, service was quick, it looked clean-I did not use the bathroom so idk about that. I came to try the new love month flavors. We all got different things and different very cute sleeves. I got the strawberry chai. As someone who loooves masala chai and makes it at home regularly it was uhh not great. The strawberry foam was sweet but didn't taste like strawberry really. The other drinks were the La La strawberry shortcake matcha and a purple rain latte. I was told the purple rain was good while the matcha wasn't very strong. This attracts *a lot* of patrons who opt to dine/drink-in, which is great for cafe culture. ...that being said. I was incredibly disappointed to see - despite attracting so many patrons who opt to enjoy their drinks at the cafe - ALL of their cups are to-go. It's a lot of plastic and paper cups (with plastic lids) in every direction. Every where you look. No mugs. And no recycling. Just trash bins filled with yellow plastic lids and clear plastic cups. Ugh... my heart. I hope they find a way to be less wasteful and "be kind" to the Earth and more environmentally sustainable. At the very least, if patrons don't order their drink to go, don't automatically snap a plastic lid on it. And offer recycling. read more

The banana chai did have a ripe banana milk creamy flavor, which tasted somewhat similar to Binggrae's banana milk but seemed less sweet and less thick. I expected a more warm chai-spices flavor with banana undertones but tasted mostly cinnamon and rice banana. I didn't like how there was so much cinnamon in it as it clumped together even after swirling the drink around. The next morning, I drank the lavender bloom latte with matcha. It turns into a mocha mousse color if you swirl it around and mix the green and purple together. It had a nice lavender flavor that mixed well with the matcha. While I was waiting for my drink, I thought the little boxes for the pastries are a lot of packaging for people that are eating it in-house and take up a lot of space in the trash can too. A plate would have been more convenient and less wasteful. It was sad to see how the drink cups with the little heart caps get picked up by some customers, then tossed into the trash by other customers in a constant cycle. read more

After a disappointing lunch we wanted to end our adventure on a high note. We had originally looked up a dessert spot when we were driving in shepherd and saw this place in a new to me strip center in the area below the overpass. My friend that I was with had them while in California and it was all over his social media feeds so we opted to come here over cookies. Once you pull up you realize this is a hip strip center with restaurants, shopping, etc. they have nice decor and props outside for the pictures. Once inside the buildout is very modern. They had some merch up front but a lot of it was sold out. We looked over the menu and I had the matcha Oreo. I was afraid it was going to be too sweet but it was just right. Not too much of a seating area inside though, just a few seats right by the register. Parking can be a little tough on the weekends at MKT, but there is additional free parking right across the street. The iced matcha was great. Good balance of flavor and not too sweet. It can get fairly busy, on nice days, but it is worth the weight if you're not in a rush. All their drink choices are delicious.
