My first time here. The lobster meat itself was very good. But it was cold, not warm. The strange part which I did not like was the roll. It was on a cheap hotdog bun. Not just a hotdog bun, a really bad one. And then they stuffed it in a tiny little 7 / 11 hotdogs box. So for a 20 dollar roll, which is the cost for the sandwich pickle and chips, it was way under presented. And the pickle??? Can you really cut a pickle into 16ths? It was a toothpick. You score a 5 on lobster meat. Staff was great and friendly and service was fast. But a good bun, warm it up and at least toss in half a pickle. Get rid of the little box. LaLa Lobster was quite delicious. We had that classic salad lobster rolls that were overstuffed with large chunks of fresh lobster. It rivaled any lobster roll we have ever had. Well, the wife and I stopped in last week for our first visit. Having read the reviews ahead of time, it as great to see the operators there read them too! The pickle slices are bigger, significantly so. The Classic (We both had them, and had them upgraded) was plenty warm enough, and buttery enough as well. DRIPPING with lobster. Last thing I'd want is to have them re-heat the meat and toughen it up, rendering it inedible. Lobster bisque was great, loaded with meat. Frankly, it was enough for two after I thinned it out a bit(Post travel home warm-up) with whole milk, and then sherry, bien sur. Sadly, I cannot speak to the Salad style, as neither of us had ordered it, but will agree with reviewers that red onion is an overpowering flavor for lobter. Might I suggest adding it at the last moment-yes, I know that's labor heavy but.....this way, the onion won't meld into the meat and take away the succulence. The staff was super pleasant, and the customers faithful. The store is now behind it's original site, but fits in perfectly(I LOVE the Colonial Seaport Blue of the Place, fits in so well with the historic nature of Yardley) and the seating sufficient. I was craving a classic lobster roll With warm butter. When I got home and opened the bag my lobster roll has chilled lobster no butter and no flavor. I called and the staff insisted there should have been a small container with butter. I explained there was none. I did not want to go back. We just tried the brand-new La La Lobster on Main street in Doylestown. All four of us ordered the lobster roll with butter. We all agreed it was great. It tasted very fresh and mild. The price was good as well for the amount of lobster in the rolls. We'll be back to try other menu items soon. read more

Fantastic, fully loaded, fresh lobster roll (with a side of chips.. for real. It included a bag of tasty chips). Flavor was phenomenal, lobster meat was tender. I appreciate the lemon wedge on the side to allow me to add some additional flavor. The only tiniest, tiny adjustment would be to toast the top split roll just a wee bit more. This was our first visit to La La Lobster. This place is absolutely Outstanding. The counter and order help was friendly, polite and quick. Almost as though they'd been open for years. We got 2 classic rolls and some mac and cheese. I had it with wine at home and thought that I was eating in New England somewhere. It was all very delicious. Great size rolls with plenty of excellent lobster, actually overflowing. Mac and cheese was just as good. I can't wait to have the same thing next week or sooner. Place is legit, not just "good for the area" .. Classic or salad style are 5 star excellent. In my opinion (and i LOVE spicy & love the flavor of chipotle), the spicy option is a distant 3rd, only because it's just better to let the lobster shine and be the star of the show. I've been told by many, that I am very critical when it comes to food. And, I admit that maybe I am. I am a lobster lover, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I had my first lobster roll. What a disappointment. I couldn't understand why that was even a menu option. So when this place opened down the street from my daughter I didn't get too excited. However social media posts caught my attention and I thought, why not give this thing one more try. Apparently I tried my first lobster roll at the wrong place because the one I just had was nothing short of fabulous. Someone was going and picked me up a classic with butter. It was worth every calorie of straying from my diet. It wasn't oozing with cole slaw sauce, it was thick chunks of lobster, not overflowing to get on your nerves but a perfect amount of tender lobster the way it should be. You can taste the lobster. Why no one is making it like this anywhere else is beyond me, but I'm glad someone finally got it right. I will for sure be back and tell all of my lobster loving friends that this is a must try. I can not speak of anything else on the menu, but if they are anywhere near as spot on as what I had tonight, this will be the new go to place for the family. read more

We all really enjoy LaLa Lobster. We've been there 2x very recently and went to order a 3rd time. After reviewing the menu I noticed price increases. Lobster rolls increased a dollar and the monstah roll increased from $50 to $65. That's a significant jump. After calling the restaurant to confirm the prices we changed our minds about ordering. While I'm sure they have their reasons for the change this was already a splurge for our whole family and now were just not really wanting to do so anymore. read more

Ordered ahead for a specific time and 25 mins later was still waiting. Staff behaved like they never saw me before, we were regulars. When we finally did get our food they tried to charge us again. Tried both the rolls and the bowls tonight. The onions in the salad version of the lobster were overpowering. If the lobster is fresh, why so bland. I'm thinking it may have been previously frozen. No evidence of lobster tail meat, only claw and knuckle meat. Also roll was somewhat soggy. Bowls were bland as well. Very disappointing as we were so psyched for a great meal. At this price and blandness of the meal, we won't be returning. If you're solely into quantity, maybe you'll like it. Eating more of something bland doesn't make it good. read more
