Quick review: Lovely interior. Simply beautiful. Staff excellent. Offers free chips n Salsa which was probably some of the best I have had anywhere. Along with that they bring a side of free coleslaw, thought that was strange but it sure was delicious. They offer lunch specials most around 11 bucks. Some more. Some less. Decent sizing of then lunch special. I ordered the enchilada/taco special. Wasn't a huge fan of what I selected. The taco protein was something i never heard of. Will not get again. The chicken in the enchilada is not shredded its mini cubes... i found them dry and the tiny cubes were a weird texture. Sauces on everything was heavy but good. Rice was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Bottom line: I would definately come back. However, I would not order anything that was tiny cubed though.

I came here shortly after ordering tacos for delivery. They were even better in person. Well, the shrimp left some to be desired (flavor and quantity), but the lengua is top tier. So tender and flavorful. The margarita also tastes delicious and high quality if you're a fan of tequila. The service was good but our waiter assumed the man to pay, which always irks me. (Just ask.) The decor is lovely, especially some wall art and the lights.

Fajita Burrito. Not the most photogenic, but still tasty.

I visited La Loma on a Friday evening. It wasn't too busy and they were accommodating to seating our fairly large group. However, I was a little turned off when I first arrived and the hostess just pointed to where was table was roughly located and sent me to find it by myself. Also when my friend asked for suggestions on which margarita she should order the server just shrugged and offered no help. I, however, had no problem deciding on which margarita to order and got the jumbo size. It was tasty but I felt they went light on the salt on the rim if that is your thing. For dinner I ordered a chicken fajita burrito. To be honest the entire meal I had a difficult time telling if I was eating chicken or shrimp. That said it still was pretty tasty. Overall the experience was a bit of a mixed bag but I would give them another shot!

Another perfect visit to La Loma! Amazing service, solid menu. It was a Friday at dinner time, but it wasn't too crowded, not too loud, and there was almost no wait. This time we tried some of our more traditional Mexican faves - aguachile (spicy verde marinated shrimp) and chicharron carnudo ( this is like a spicy red sauce marinated soft pork skin confit). Oh and agua Fresca de jamaica (hibiscus drink - it's my favorite. their version is very sweet.) Everything was delicious! I think one of my favorite things about La Loma is they know how to bring the spice without sacrificing flavor!

Amazing from the friendly welcome to the end of a great meal. Great chips and salsa with a few extra sauces to go along. Also they bring you out a bowl of Cole slaw. Goes great with the chips and salsa. Quesadilla is excellent. More than I could eat. We will be BACK

We visited La Loma for a group dinner tonight. The chips and salsa were yummy, and I love chicken flautas. Many of us were able to take advantage of happy hour, too, with discounted drinks, nachos, wings, and tacos, which is always a nice option. The service was great for such a large group, and everyone's food looked amazing, including my friend's meal that included a whole fish! I would definitely recommend this place!

Excellent New Mexican restaurant with a large variety of options--alas no dishes with mole. But my chicken Diablo was outstanding. Lots of food and easy to share -- I brought about half home. The ambiance js nice and the service is outstanding -- extremely friendly.

They did a very nice remodel, classy yet casual. Amazing food! Very hard to choose. Menu is not overwhelming, but something for everyone. Chips and three salsas, coleslaw as well. Service was great.

The food was very good. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the chips, they didn't have much flavor but I loved the Smokey hot salsa. Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was what you would expect in a Mexican restaurant, very clean.

Incredible place! Standout elements: slaw with the chips, carnitas, veggie quesadilla, spicy guacamole, decor, friendly staff.

I sit at the bar and I'm greeted by something I've never had ever...chips served with 2 red salsas, a verde salsa and bean dip! Usually you just get chips, a small bowl and a carafe of salsa, help yourself. This set the tone that this would be different than usual. I ordered steak fajita nachos and a Modelo Negra. I powered thru the chips and bean dip like it was my job. And it didn't disappoint. Really fresh and flavorful. Nachos are nachos, right? Wrong. How they are assembled has everything to do with their mouth feel as they cool down. I've had nachos that come out looking amazing but as they cool, turn into a disappointing chuck of chips held together by shredded cheese cement. These stayed loose with crunchy bites of peppers and onions, and the cheese sauce coated instead of becoming cement-like. I always order the same thing when trying a New Mexican spot. If the nachos are good, chances are everything is good! So I'll keep the almost 5 Star steak going. I agree, some of the best Mexican food in Columbus.

Never have I had that offered to me at any restaurant. His hustle, service and smile was appreciated. The nachos were really good. The marinated pork, cheese sauce, fresh chips, chunks of pineapple, sour cream and salsa verde just came together well. Bonus points for the cheese sauce. Not to mention I watched him prepare everything thru the glass counter. He's back there having fun then brings your food out with a smile. Love it. If it were super busy I don't know how he would keep up, but I appreciate his hustle. Yelp, your recommendation didn't disappoint. Ricardo, a waiter at Cazuela's Mexican Cantina in Reynoldsburg, had finished serving a table, expecting the usual--a tip, a simple acknowledgment of his hard work. Instead, he received a hateful message scrawled on the receipt, the kind that cuts deeper than words should. Ricardo works at Cazuela's only on Sundays, a second job to help make ends meet. So today, in between my OCIA responsibilities, I decided to stop by--to meet him, to shake his hand, and to remind him that there are far more good people in this world than the ones who spew hate. As we talked, I saw a man who carries himself with quiet dignity, someone who simply wants to work hard and provide for his family. I shared with him that I, too, know what it feels like to be told to "go back to your country," even though, like him, I am an American. I told him about my childhood, standing in front of my family's Crestview Market, hearing the ugly chants from passing cars--some driven by kids I went to school with. But today wasn't just about reliving painful memories; it was about something greater--the power of community, of kindness that drowns out cruelty. When I arrived at Cazuela's, I wasn't alone. Others had also come to show their support, to stand with Ricardo. He told me the outpouring of kindness had been overwhelming, and I was relieved to hear it. Before I left, I handed him my WARM card and told him if he ever needed help, he could call me. Because no one should feel alone in moments like these. And, by the way, if you ever stop by Cazuela's, their enchiladas and Mexican rice are fantastic. The chips and salsa? Fresh and addictive. And my server, Isabel--attentive, kind, and everything a great waitress should be. Some people choose to spread hate. But today, I saw so many more people choosing love. And thats what matters.
